We had just bought our home from rehabbers and the gutters had been patched, but not leveled, so in heavy downpours our water would runoff onto our neighbors' foundation. We contacted St. Louis Roofing and Exteriors because of their excellent reviews online. We were not disappointed! They were quick to call back and sent out an employee for a free inspection and repair estimate. The pricing was reasonable and they were able to install our gutters despite rain the day of, without interrupting our day at all. Thanks to the torrential rain this last week we have seen our gutters in action and we our satisfied customers!

Communication is terrible. After getting an estimate and trying to proceed with ta new roof, they just stopped responding. No answers to my text, phone, or email in the past two weeks.

Honestly a great experience. The team was super fast even with our job requiring extra work after starting due to the wood being in disrepair. The team was extremely professional keeping us up to date with everything happening during the job.

We are very happy with the work done by St. Louis Roofing and Exteriors! We had work done on two of our properties. The work was done in a timely fashion and they were very easy to work with on both projects. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend St. Louis Roofing & Exteriors for roof replacements. From the initial estimate to the final inspection, the entire process was seamless. They were great about communicating every step of the way, and the crew did an incredible job with the installation and cleanup.

Very responsive and easy to work with. Completed the work quickly and kept us updated on each step of the process. Would recommend to anyone needing roofing work done in the STL area!

Communication was horrible. This job was a rush job and it appears that the company and the sub-contractors that were hired didn't care. There were several things that weren't done and/or replaced that I had to contact the project manager about to include two windows that were apparently left off of the estimate to be wrapped that St. Louis Roofing & Interiors inspector has marked as damaged and to be included in repairs. The sub-contractors didn't respect my property and my neighbor property I had to tell them to pick up nails and clean up after they removed the siding, gutters, etc. Sub-contractors didn't do a good clean up job so I had to go back behind them and clean up. Pictures and well written instructions were not shared with the sub-contractors of what is to be replaced and where the items that were removed should go back since this wasn't done the sub-contractors had to come back out to my house several times. Materials that were left over were left in my driveway without communication to me if I will be reimbursed for materials that weren't used or if I can get rid of it as to my discretion. As of today, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 I haven't heard anything from the company in regard to this so I had to rent a storage unit and pay someone to move the left over materials out of my driveway and into the storage for me along with I had to break down a large box and put in my recycle bin to be picked up with my trash. Now I have to pay someone to remove the pallet out of my driveway so I can start back parking inside of my garage. This has been one of the most unpleasant experiences that I had with getting work done to my house and I wouldn't recommend this company.

The statements made by the owner in their response on or about August 4, 2025, are not accurate. I originally posted my review over a year ago, and it's unfortunate that only now they've decided to reply with misinformation. I have documented my concerns thoroughly through text messages, emails, and even security camera footage all of which were shared directly with both Jon and Dennise at the time. To clarify, nothing was done for free or outside the scope of my contract. I stand by my original review and the experiences I described.

We utilized Elite Exteriors to repair extensive damage to our roof and siding caused by the 2025 Tornadoes in the local St. Louis area. From the start, Elite was clear on what to expect and quoted us a price that remained true throughout the services.
There were many steps to go above and beyond and Pete was a pleasure to work with. Always friendly, polite, and professional, we felt we were in good hands.
On our street, there were other roofers chosen to complete jobs at our neighbor's houses. However, we are so glad we went with Elite Exteriors. Our roof went on quickly and looks outstanding. Pete knew exactly what we wanted for our house and helped us to make it happen.
On the highly visible areas of our house for siding, Elite made sure to utilize non damaged siding from areas that were being replaced to match the EXACT coloring of those visible areas. It looks outstanding. Everywhere else on our street, you see glaring shiny patches of newer siding that do not match the house, but not ours. Perfectly matched, perfectly done.
At the end, Pete handled all of the insurance for us so we had no worries and no time spent on our end having to deal with it. That is ALWAYS appreciated.

DONT USE!!! Tried for weeks to get them to come out and give me a quote, Spoke to this Sean guy, he was very flaky and would never show when he said he would. Be there Tuesday, Tuesday passes and he never showed up. Call him Wednesday and he said he was going to come over by the end of the day. Still no show on Wednesday. Finally pushed off to the next week and he did the same thing, called in to speak to the owner and he told me to “I don’t need your business if you’re going to criticize how my son Sean works.” I have moved to another roofing company. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Use Laguna’s Roofing instead

DO NOT USE!!! Worse company I’ve ever dealt with, Sean had a million excuses. I spent MONTHS trying get him to come out and look at my roof. It took 2 weeks of no call no shows before he showed up, then he told me to schedule an inspection with insurance but make sure they could be there because there was hail damage and they wanted to show it. Finally get it in the books with the insurance and he no call no showed on the insurance people. Then I spent weeks trying to get ahold of him before finally calling the office and speaking with the owner. He said he didn’t want to deal with the insurance company. They only want jobs off the books.

I do not recommend Elite Exteriors.They put a new roof & replaced facia from hail damage. Twice facia has blown loose from the house from improper (weak) installation. The first time they came out and repaired however when it blew off again in same place I was told they are too busy to help me & that they would not repair because of wind damage. I paid another company to do the repairs and was told that the facia was not attached properly on the side of the roof that gets the brunt of weather. I was also very unhappy with the installation of the gutter guards, instead of having the gutter guards installed properly I was refunded the cost of the gutter guards which I thought was fair. (Reason for 2 stars otherwise a 1 star)
I did have to pay another company to do it right though. Additionally, there is flashing & some additional work around my chimney that needed attention/repair that I was made aware of when my chimney was inspected & cleaned. When I inquired about this I was told it was not in the scope of work on the insurance claim! If only I would have been informed, I would have gladly paid to have the work done at the same time as the roof replacement . The other complaint I have is with one of the employees who has horrible customer/social skills who was sent out to inspect the gutter guards. The owner is aware of his abusive attitude but defends him due to his knowledge/skills. Based on my experience with this company I would NOT RECOMMEND!

I feel compelled to leave a review about our recent project. The project was roof, gutters and garage door. We wanted a stress free project which is NOT what was delivered. This was an insurance job to Elite took full advantage of the situation. Made lots of promises which they DID NOT deliver. What they SAY is one thing. Once you sign the contract, that is it. Do as little as possible! They invoiced us for what the insurance claim stated. They did not do all the work! They went so far as Overhead Garage Door gave us a $420 discount for being Senior Citizens, which Elite tried to take from us. In the end they wanted all the insurance money and one month of our social security check.

Really frustrating!!! We asked for an invoice, they said the contract is what the insurance company paid. You pay us that! I noted that is not what you said at the start... They said that is what the contract states. Wanting to avoid a Lean situation, we paid it.

It worked out to be $625 per square for the roof. I checked in the St. Louis Area typical is $350-$550. Way over priced. Really feel taken advantage of by these people.

My advice is NEVER sign anything with these people unless you have three quotes from others and Absolutely NEVER let them see your insurance claim!! They will invoice you for that amount. We did not really need new screens. They did not put on new window screens. The invoice was for the total amount including screens and painting.

We agreed to pay an up charge for a little better garage door. We think Overhead Garage Door did a fine job and they are trustworthy.

Please, get quotes from others, don't trust these people and again, DO NOT LET THEM SEE THE INSURANCE CLAIM.. .
