Technicians installed my furnace and air conditioning unit, mike and Demetrius did a fabulous job I would recommend c&g to everyone,they do a very good job.

Owner is extremely responsive even before a "sale" .. answers all questions and gives advice. Ran into a couple issues with an ecobee thermostat install, they researched, had folks back out almost immediately to resolve.

Can’t say enough good things about them. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, no up-sells. Highly responsive. Inexpensive. I have used a few different companies for HVAC: C&G gets my first call and it’s not even close.

C&G have been my "Go TO" guys for my home and my business for many years. They are always reasonable and have been super responsive to my every need and concern. They truly are people I can trust to always treat me fair.

I sent a request on Monday and they had a opening for Tuesday morning I jumped on it. My heat wasn't getting hot and since it was getting a little chilly outside I needed to have it looked ta. James came right in and found out what was going on. A bird was stuck in the unit. He cleaned it out and got me back up and running! I am very thankful for that! And it didn't cost me a arm and a leg.

C&G tackled our challenging installation professionally and affordably. Their results changed out sweltering summer into a cool and comfortable one.

I hired C&G last year, Gray came and did great job on annual tune up.
This year, young man came and did very poor, I don't go in detail here.

I called C & G company and express the result of work.
The manager, 100% refund check, mailed to me.

I am a senior citizen, not always, but I run into people/company trying to abuse situation we seniors are in.

In current situation we are in under Covid 2 years and still going on, high inflation chocking our budget, almost like WW 3 WAR Zone In Ukline. We have been through so much.

Please, ,Respect your profession and do the work with your pride and honest.

I review C & G Heating & Cooling is NOT putting them down. They did refund me 100%.
We all make mistake .... hope not happen again, specially to those are in Senior age.

I called them on Thursday morning and they were willing to come out that day, it didn't work schedule wise but 1st thing Friday morning they were out. Our furnace was making a noise the the guy that came out was very nice, drove out to get the part and was back within about an hour or so.

He did a general service, put in the new motor and was very nice and quick about things. Price wise, well what can I say; no one likes paying $700 on house things but I feel for the labor and part and service it is what it is. Can't go without heat.

I would defiantly refer them.

We had a top notch team of installers on May 22, 2018. Scott, Noal, & Brad were professional, considerate, and extremely polite. We not only had a new AC & coil put in, but also a new register in our kitchen, at the recommendation of another company. They started the job about 745/8am and were finished by 230pm. I will recommend C & G to anyone who asks. Thank you!

They came to fix HVAC three times and it kept shorting out when I tried to turn on AC. They also didn't show up one day when I was expecting them. I Had to call a different company to find the source of problem, and fix (again) what C&G already had "fixed". Hopefully this was just a one off bad experience but I won't be using them again.

I would recommend this company to anyone looking for assistance with HVAC in the area. I was scheduled for just a tune up, however my A/C went out prior to the appointment. I was able to call and they rescheduled me for next day. Cody was great! He knew exactly what the problem was and explained everything in detail. Will be calling them again if I have issues.

My airco quit putting out cold air. I called C&G based on their reviews on Google. One of their technicians was here the next day! He identified the problem (the compressor motor was shot). I asked Tim for a quote to replace the entire system and he provided three different pricing options based on different efficiency ratings. Even the highest price quote was less than one I had received before. I opted to just replace the motor; the part was ordered yesterday and installed this morning. I couldn't be happier!

C&G Heating and Cooling is an Amazing heating and cooling company. From my sales person Tim to the service repres. James, Caleb and Damitris they all were phenomenal. The service they provided was very professional and customer friendly. The arrived at my residence at approx. 8:00 am and from the time they started to the time the job was complete these guys worked together as a team. When needed from time to time they engaged with me sharing the any information they felt was important throughout the entire process of installation of both the furnace and AC. Great comany! I had them put in 2 new HVAC systems for us recently at 2 different houses. Tim was quick to come out and provide a detailed quote with a couple different options, and the prices were very competitive compared to some other quotes we received. They got us on the schedule and completed all the work quickly, and their installers were very courteous and helpful explaining what we needed to know the new system. Highly recommend them if you need HVAC maintenance or a new system. They are fair and honest. Charles

C & G Heating and Cooling offered a great price for a whole house humidifier install. Tim came and looked at the area where the humidifier was being installed and told me the model that would fit & that the time for install would be 3-4 hours.

The day of install came and the technician began the work. I checked in every now and then, and after 3 hours the technician said that he didn't have enough material to complete the install and would have to leave to get what was missing. I asked him if Tim shared any information about the setup after Tim's visit, and he said no, so there was a missed opportunity to avoid this delay. The entire job ended up taking 8 hours, which the tech apologized about.

After a week of operation I noticed the humidifier was draining non-stop, so I googled this and came up with a few results (solenoid valve stuck open, or wiring was wrong). I looked into it, and if I powered off the unit the water would stop, so that ruled out the valve. I checked the wiring and had to redo some of it to get the solenoid to turn on only when the furnace would be pushing heat instead of just draining water constantly.

All in all, the installation took much longer than promised, and the unit was not wired properly.

Edit: C&G Heating were very helpful getting the issue resolved and supporting the install for a longer period. Great customer service after the bad install experience, pleased with their professionalism & support

I've been using this business to take care of any heating and cooling needs for my home for the last 10+ years and they have always done a phenomenal job. Today, James came out and investigated some issues we were having on an older system and his work was excellent as was his customer service. Super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm somewhat knowledgeable on HVAC stuff myself and I find they run a really honest business that doesn't try to fool you into getting stuff you don't need. I highly recommend C&G as a company to do business with.

I have been with C & G for many years, ever since they installed a new furnace and a/c unit at my home. Everyone I have dealt with has ALWAYS been super nice, giving little extra tips and tricks on how to extend the life of my appliances. They offer a wonderful service where you can pay in advance for them to come out and service your furnace/air conditioning unit twice per year, to make sure everything is in good working order in spring and then in late fall. This kind of regularly scheduled maintenance helps to extend the life of your unit. James came out yesterday and was on time, very professional, and sooo nice!!! The receptionist Darlene is just truly the best. She has been there for many years and they couldn’t have chosen a better person to be the first point of contact for their business. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

My furnace stopped working in a freezing evening. I called C&G first thing in the morning. Their technician arrived in my place before 10am and it was all fixed in one hour or so.

I had another problem 2 weeks later. Kevin came over and did an excellent job checking and fine tuning everything. The furnace is now working better than it ever did!

They are honest and competent people doing great work. Best heating and cooling company in St Louis!

We were given an arrival window of 8AM-9AM (first open window for the day). At about 8:55AM we received a text message letting us know that our technician was running late and would be there in 15 minutes.

15 minutes later at 9:10AM our technician still hadn’t arrived. When I called to inquire where our technician was, I was told that he was stuck in really bad traffic and that there was a bad accident on the highway.

C&G Cooling is located less than 2 miles from our house. And it wouldn't, with zero exceptions, make any sense for our technician to be on the highway to get to us. Additionally I checked live traffic and there were zero traffic delays anywhere in city.

If you’re going to be late, that’s not a big deal. But communicate that in a timely and honest manner. After they lied to me on the phone about something so simple, I no longer felt comfortable trusting them in my home and working on our HVAC system.
