Sound reasonable? Harster who had been good to us in the past, is now Classic Aire. Say what you want about justifying that cost, no consumer can feel that they got a fair deal with figures like that.

We came home to our furnace clicking on, but not blowing hot air and soon shutting off. Brr! We just bought this house a few months ago, and decided to call Harster because...that was the name of the company on the sticker on the furnace!

2-3 hours after my call this morning, a very friendly and knowledgeable technician came out. He fixed the furnace quickly (broken ignitor), and let us know about Harster's service plan. This service plan saved us a lot of money today, and has got our new home off on the right foot with scheduled furnace and AC cleaning and maintenance checks. The technician, Jim, also kindly spent a lot of time answering my "new homeowner" questions and helped alleviate some of my ignorance of what to do when there's no landlord to call!

I was expecting "okay", and am pleased to say Harster Heating & Air Conditioning delivered far beyond my expectations! Thank you!

Long story short. The AC went out Sunday. First thing Monday morning a tech came out and after numerous tests he diagnosed that the AC compressor was shot. It was over 25 years old so I was not shocked. After the Tech left a very knowledgeable and non pressured sales man came by and went over our options. We made a decision and 5 hours later our new A/C was installed. I challenge anyone to find better service then that. Not only does this place have an awesome building but their employees are top notch.

Thanks so much to the efficient Harster HVAC technician who fixed my furnace problem! I called them because my neighbors recommended them. I'm very happy with the service. I'll use them again and recommend them to others.

We had a new air conditioner and furnace installed Yesterday. Jim and Brady did a fantastic job on the install. Great people to work with. They both were very kind, helpful, and professional. I would definitely recommend them For your HVAC neans.

I could write a book, but to try and keep it short, this company has been amazing!! We called when it was HOT! HOT! HOT! and our ac wasn’t working right. We knew it needed to be replaced. They came out the same day, gave us the bid and we scheduled for the next day installation. I’m a worrier and have called a couple times thinking something wasn’t right with the unit. They sent someone out within a couple hours to take a look. Everyone we’ve encountered has been professional. I recommend this company.

Filled out an online form for a new home HVAC assessment, got a call 15 minutes later, Jeff came by an hour later. He walked me through the entire system and tuned up the AC so that it's running smooth as can be. The service agreement is a great deal and offers peace of mind.

I would like to thank Ryan for his superb attention to detail with an expedited solution for three failing HVAC units within my home. Ryan consistently provided support and information until the project was completed and followed up to ensure the installation was to my satisfaction. Lastly, the installation team, Robbie and Alex provided superior quality and service! If I have HVAC needs in the future, this will be my first stop.

I've had two very positive experiences. They installed a furnace in my attic and then two years later moved a gas line for me. Both time excellent service and very affordable. Most recently Rob helped me. Highly recommend.

We where extremely happy and impressed by the service we received this morning. We woke up this morning and it was really cold in the house check the thermostat and realized that we had no heat I called Harster heating and talked to their emergency line they where very polite then ten minutes later I received a call from the service technician Dan, he was at the house thirty minutes later and heat was back on. This all happened in a matter of less then two hours from when the call was made Dan was very informative and explained what was wrong and what he did and what needs to be addressed. GREAT SERVICE.

Harster is a great company to work with. They replaced our furnace and fixed our AC over the past 12 months. Each time they have provided the most value compared to other HVAC bids we received. Very easy to get a hold off, return calls promptly, walk through everything very clearly and are friendly to deal with. I highly recommend them for any HVAC needs.

Note that Harster is under new ownership and now called Classic Air or something. So we paid $200 to have a pilot light lit and the cover was left off. It went out again and I called to get a bid on a new water heater and I had the nerve to ask what the difference was between an electric water heater and a gas water heater and received the snide response 'one runs on electric, one runs on gas'. Then he had me send him photos. We never received an estimate. Happily, Hoffman Brothers was glad to hear from us and gave a good estimate and had person out the next business day. We're happy with the work they did. To show I'm a fair fella, I'm now going to write a glowing review for Hoffman Brothers!

Definitely hire Harster Heating and AC! I woke up to a cold house, went to work, called and talked to a lovely, polite woman. She set up a service appointment for me the same day, suggesting that I make it early afternoon. Service technician arrived, and took a look at my (very old) furnace, and said that it needed to be replaced — and showed me photos and a video that explained why. I was not surprised. The surprising part is this. He called to get someone to give me an estimate on a new furnace, looked at the AC compressor and said it did not need to be replaced (and explained why). Their sales rep showed up within 30 minutes, wrote a very reasonable estimate. I said okay, and the installation team arrived right on time the NEXT morning — very nice and competent men — finished as planned, cleaned up, told me about my new furnace and humidifier. And, I’m warm and cozy now! Amazing!

Our 25 year old heater finally died so it was time for a whole new system. My father-in-law recommended Harster because he had been a satisfied customer of theirs for years. They had the best price, really nice employees and they took the time to explain the different systems which was great because we had no idea what we were doing. I am very happy with our new A/C & furnace and the service they provided.

I can't speak highly enough of Harster - their parts department is excellent (they're always able to get the parts I need the same day), their service people are very knowledgeable and friendly (always taken the time to clearly explain what they did/found), and their sales people are the best I've encountered (always been reasonable in pricing and providing several options for cost/efficiency/features when replacing systems). I've recommended them to several friends & family members, and I've yet to hear anyone having a bad experience. Keep up the great work Harster!

We worked with several different employees over the course of 2 days, all of whom were very knowledgeable and helpful. Before they arrived, we received notifications with their pictures and names so we knew who to expect. Had our new unit installed within 24 hours. Did not feel like we were being pressured. We would work with them again (but hopefully won't need to)! Jim, Nick, Robbie all great to work with.

Purchased a new Furnace and A/C from Harster about 2 years ago. They were fast, friendly, and affordable. Have had to call them for service once since then, and they were out here the same day. They were great, they explained everything they were doing and cleaned up when they were done. Again, fast, friendly, and affordable. Definitely recommend.

Update: Purchased a new house that also needed a new HVAC. Harster was able to come in and custom design a system with dampers that was able to keep the upstairs cool with a high efficiency system. Great service, wonderful product.
