Back in mid April a tech came out to preform the spring check up. I remember the temp that day was in the mid 40s. He checked my central AC unit, which seemed to be running fine, and told me it had a freon leak. I was told it needs 2 lbs of freon at $180.00 each plus about $200.00 to look for the leak. He added that my freon was being phased out so he suggested I buy a completely new unit at about $6,000.00. After he left I wanted to wait it out since my AC was running fine plus it was still cold outside. Now that it warmed up I've had two other HVAC companies come out and both said my freon level is perfect. They said it's common tech knowledge that you never check freon level unless it's over 65 degrees outside. So my tech was either misleading me or did not know what he was doing. It's just sad not knowing who you can trust these days. A simple Google search will also tell you not to check your AC unless the temp is above 65 degrees.

I have never written an online review before, but Weis's service was so bad that this is my first. For almost ten years I paid them to service my HVAC. I paid them to replace my HVAC, and once they did, my monthly utility bills doubled in the summer. Then I paid for service visits and even had a supervisor visit my home, and they told me they couldn't fix my problem.

Now, I have sold my house. I paid them over $400 for a pre-closing inspection and now get to pay an additional $500 to repair the very issue I begged them to solve for years. Fixing it would have saved me hundreds of dollars on my utility bills.

What a disappointment. I hope I can spare others by sharing this.

It took almost 12 hours to install both the furnace and the A/C unit. I have no problem with that. I DO have a problem with the fact that they had to come back and re-do something that was installed wrong the first time. I'm just disappointed that it wasn't checked before they left the first time. I'd also like to add that the crew wasn't exactly careful in my basement. I have a lot of junk in my basement so I understand their frustration. I did the best I could to clear a path.

A day after an appointment to fix the two-year-old A/C in my new home, the friendly folks at Weis notified me that the previous homeowners had purchased a 10-year parts/service warranty...and they had already refunded the repair fee for the work my unit had needed. Unexpected, and very welcome - they looked out for me when they didn't need to.

Technician Frank has kept our system in top condition since installed 15 years ago. He is professional, courteous and knows what he is doing. Thank you Frank and Weis Comfort Systems!

I have my heat pump serviced twice a year by Weis DeRousse and I always request Frank because he is the one who put the unit in years ago. I trust him to do a great job and he does. He is friendly and courteous. Jamie is very friendly always when I call the office.

Weis just installed a new Daikin fit system for me with heatpump. The installers were fantastic! Exceptional quality, friendlyness and cleanliness. Definitely got what I paid for. Can't wait to see my electric bills drop. Thank you Weis!

The service personnel have been to my home several times since we moved to our new home in 2014. We were unfamiliar with geo-thermal and the people at Weis have explained the workings of the system and backup heat or cooling. Repair men are always courteous and professional. Good to have Weis for services.

My 98% efficient heater stoped working and after calling WEIS they suggested to upgrade to 99% efficient but the same model. I was ok with it, however after installation the unit was making triple the noise of my old unit and they kept blaming the vents for the noise. After three months back and forth with them, nothing got solved but they kept sending me bill notifications even though the job was not solved. The technicians kept saying that a manager will call me but they never did.
Very disappointed with this company.

Weis has been servicing our furnace and air conditioner for decades. Mostly the service calls are for regular maintenance. A few have been for repair. All calls were handled professionally. I can't remember having to call a second time because the problem was not corrected.
Weis also installed a new furnace and air conditioner during the mid 1990's. Again the company did an excellent job.

Outside condenser would not turn on in the 90+ temps… They had someone at the house on the same day and now we’re back up and running. Our technician was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. No upswell or funny business on the pricing or parts.

Great experience with Weis Comfort heating and cooling. I hired their St Louis office. Staff was very friendly and helpful. 2 hour service window was nice, compared to other hvac contractors wanting me to hang around all day. AC was fixed and running within 45 mins. Highly recommended to anyone looking for HVAC repair.

Bill is very friendly and courteous. He is personable and did a thorough job of cleaning and inspecting our air conditioner. We were very pleased with his work ethic and would definitely recommend him.

We have used Weis Comfort Systems for over 12 years for all of our heating and cooling needs, in two homes. They are always courteous, quick, honest, fair, and efficient! They just installed a new furnace and air conditioner last winter and we could not be happier! Fabulous company!

Weis was great as usual. I had forgotten the scheduled service until I received a quick phone call that Bill was on his way. No problem. Friendly and affable as always, he carried out his duties and pronounced everything 'okay.' This is a great company and watches my comfort all year long.

I researched air conditioner and furnaces for several months and found Lennox was the overall top rated. I phone Weiss and Dave came out and spent about 90min (due to my questions) and gave me several great options to review at my leisure. I had other bids as well but with other reps who gave me the impression they were rushed. Dave with Weiss gave me the most information and left it up to me to decide on what I felt would work best for my family. The other companies did not appear as knowledgeable and balked at a couple questions and concerns I had but Dave and Weiss were 100% on point. On installation day, Nick and Caleb arrived on time, reviewed what we were doing and my requests...and in 10hrs I had cool air making me shiver. It was a pristine installation and zero mess, super professional, and way relaxed and fun...they felt like old friends helping me out. Weiss knocked it out of the ball park. All of the bids were different and honestly Weiss may have been a bit more expensive but it was negligible when I saw what my family received in service and professinal quality installation and that they understood what I would like done and my reasoning. They installed the air condenser up off the ground 25ft down the wall away from the patio and re-ran electric and refrigerant lines up out of the way and reworked the vent so it was better positioned. I hated the prior old unit location and they fixed it! Once Nick and Caleb left....you couldn't even tell they had been there....not a speck of dust anywhere! Totally will only recommend Weiss for anyone!

Weis was able to send someone out the same day I called, which was good since it was in the mid 90s and my AC wasn't working at all! Rich was able to diagnose and fix my AC unit in under 30 minutes, getting our house back to being cool again. They were very upfront about pricing, which was very reasonable. Rich was very professional and courteous. I would certainly recommend them and will definitely give them a call next time I need service!
