Hoffman plumbing is by far the best in STL area. You can expect excellent communication, professional/ highly knowledgeable techs who take the time to explain the issue and repair, and fair pricing. Whats not to like!

I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a job well done (not easy to find!) AND would like to learn what's going on during the job. The secretary, Beth, was extremely helpful in helping me understand the process for obtaining parts to my current faucet from the manufacturer as well as reviewing photos with a plumber, Shawn, to discuss how to proceed. This helps cut down on fruitless trips by a plumber due to a lack of information from the customer, which is ultimately cheaper for the customer. She was very patient with me as this was my first kitchen faucet repair. Shawn was awesome, too. He was extremely quick when he was here, and you could tell it was because of his decades of experience, and allowed me to watch and ask questions while he worked. I'm happy to support this company with stimulus check money; they deserve it!

Hoffman plumbing came to my condo in Ballwin,MO to tighten bolts to toilet
After technician left i saw toilet was off centered. I knew the technician was new as he called the office for instructions. When I called Hoffman plumbing to ask if someone could correct this, I was told bolting the toilet is not guaranteed

My husband and I had an issue with a hot water heater not heating up. Called Hoffman and they advised us to check the warranty as it would be cheaper than having them come out. Turns out the unit was still under warranty so we were able to get it fixed for free. Really appreciate Hoffman steering us in the right direction, I trust that they have your best interested in mind and will always try to do what is best and cheapest for the customer. If we have any plumbing needs in the future, we'll be contacting Hoffman! Beth was also a delight to talk to on the phone, very knowledgeable and follows up.

I had plumbing issue and Mark R. from Hoffman was timely, professional, and knowledgeable, even with very old plumbing. He gave me preventative maintenance tips and a ballpark estimate for a larger repair, if needed, down the road. Mark seemed to live and breathed plumbing.

His hands end in wrenches that turn as naturally as fingers flex. When he moves, it is with the soft hiss of pressure easing through a line, the whisper of water finding its path. I would not recommend this company. First of all they didn't finish my job and when I tried to call them back they would never answer my calls. Note of recommendation: Never use a company that doesn't answer their phones or have an answering service. When they came in to work on hooking up my toilets and sinks they got caulk ALL OVER THE PLACE and didn't clean up any of it and so I spent days cleaning up caulk. When I had the owner come back and look at the horrible work he didn't seem to care and that was the last time I saw him.

Where to start? I called the number listed on the website about a clogged kitchen sink. The two men showed up sometime later and immediately started making remarks "What are we drinking?" "When is dinner?". They determined my drain pipe was frozen. They used a pan from my kitchen, 3 of my cups, and my hair dryer. They made a huge mess, broke my hair dryer, and did not fix the sink. I was charged $175, they only accepted cash. I produced $180 and was given no change or receipt. The man promised he would be back to work on it, but long story short that never happened. After days of him saying he'd be over in the afternoon he graduated to not even answering my calls. I hope my experience leads you in a better direction.

Garbage. Hired as third party contractor for BELLON WRECKING. All numbers dead or calls unanswered. Disrespectful crew called my wife a C for simply asking what they were doing and how long it'd take because our house was shaking.

Plumber did a nice job. Office help or a train wreck. Please beware.

I called and the phone was answered by the owner who only said “hello” which was confusing as I called a business. When I inquired if this was CJ Plumbing she said “well yes and no”. I was immediately treated with zero respect or courtesy and as if I had disturbed them by calling. I was chastised for calling the number listed on their Google My Business page and not their office phone which is not listed.

Would not recommend. Not a good company or people running it.
