Mid America Electronics & Appliance Service (located at 328 Jungermann Rd, St Peters, MO 63376) made two visits to my property, and after a visit in May 2020 in which they were ill-equipped to perform the service, they sent a gentleman named David on June 9, 2020, who spent all day in my condo "fixing" the washer. He was exceptionally kind; that said, he left a huge water stain on our newly refinished bamboo floors, and a technician later found that he not only did not actually fix the machine, but he also removed necessary parts and left the motor on the floor of the washer! What is worse is that I called Mid-America to schedule a service call (as David and Rebecca CLEARLY stated that their work was guaranteed for 90 days) in mid-August 2020, and a woman named Samantha reneged on a follow-up visit. I was furious and promised her that this was not the last she would hear from me, hence this review. I'm exceptionally reticent to ever leave a one star review for any business, but this experience was beyond the pale for me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MID AMERICA ELECTRONICS & APPLIANCE SERVICE.
Brandon is awesome and so is Mid America Service! I have no shortage of experience with terrible service providers — enough that I just expect a hassle. It’s already annoying to take time off of work but then to have to wait weeks for an appointment, you know the deal. These guys were totally different, the quality of service of a bygone era. I got scheduled for the same week and then they called me to offer the first appointment a day earlier. So now I don’t have to take the day off and instead of a window, they knocked out the service first thing so I could go to work. On top of that, Brandon not only fixed my dishwasher but he gave me all kinds of advice and answered all my questions. This is exactly the way a service call should go. I’m quick to write complaints when things go bad but not as good about recognizing outstanding service. This definitely deserves recognition!!
