Appliance Repair reviews in Lincoln, Nebraska

I have to be honest, at first, Tom (Whose number is listed on the website) was great. He was responding to our Home Warranty company (HWC) to fix our air conditioner that had gone out when it was going to be 95+. He gave us a diagnosis (On Monday) and said that he'd likely have the part the following day or two.
From there, things went south. I reached out (via text) the next day to ask when he'd have the part and make the repair. He'd diagnosed that the defrost controller had gone out on the condenser unit outside. He said it wouldn't be in until next week, but he could come out and do a work-around so I'd at least have A/C for the next couple days, but we'd not have heat pump until the part was replaced. I asked what time he'd be able to come out, he said he had jobs in Omaha and it'd be about 7 PM. My kids go to bed by eight and being without AC for a third day would make it unbearably hot. He did tell me that the HWC wouldn't cover that fix, but it was relatively inexpensive. I called a tech recommended by a friend who said he'd be out mid-morning and knew exactly the work-around.
When the other tech arrived, he asked why Tom had taken the board. I shrugged as I don't know HVAC at all. He got to the work-around, but found that once he had everything wired, the condenser still didn't kick on. He asked if I could show him to the unit inside the house (Something Tom had not done). We went inside and he found, that the float switch on the overflow drain had tripped. There was a clog in the primary drain so the secondary pan had filled and was likely the problem from the get-go. I got the water out of the secondary pan and, like magic, the unit fired on and began to cool the upstairs.
I called Tom to let him know that a friend had made the temporary repair (Many HVAC companies won't work HWCs) and that it was likely the defrost control wasn't the issue, but if he already had authorization to replace it, to go ahead and do so. That was Tuesday.
A week later on Wednesday, I still have not heard from Tom. I called him and asked if the part was in. He said yes and he could come out the next day (Thursday) between 11 and 3 to put it in. At 2:45 the next day I called to make sure that he was still coming in the timeframe he'd given me the prior day. Despite our communication over the last week (And the fact that I have a Denver area code) he still didn't know who I was. I got, "Oh, yeah, I won't make it today. You have AC upstairs, right?" I told him I did. "Okay, well I have a few systems out, so I'll get to you tomorrow." "It would've been nice to know that before I sat at home for four hours waiting for you." "Yeah, I apologize for that. See you tomorrow." Hangs up.
Friday morning, I tried to call Tom to see when he'd be coming by. His message says, "This person is not accepting messages. Please send him a text or try again later." I texted asking when he was planning to come out. Never responded. I tried and tried throughout the day both via phone and text (I believe I called about 11 times. I admit that seems excessive, but someone has to be here when he comes out and I'm not feeling real confident he'd come back) with no response. I finally called the home warranty company who told me he had scheduled the appointment for between 3 and 8 PM. Fine. They tried to call him. He did not answer. You will not be surprised to learn he did not come out on Friday.
Called him again Saturday. No answer. Called the HWC. He doesn't answer their calls either. They send an email to him to let him know he needs to contact me. Tom doesn't answer any phone calls on Saturday (I tried two or three times after the warranty company did).
Tried him again Tuesday morning (It was 4th of July weekend). He did not answer my call. Called the home warranty company. To shorten this story, someone else is fixing my AC now. I cannot strongly enough discourage you from using this company. -
This service company showed up to diagnose the washing machine issue everything after that was not professional in any manner. Tom failed to arrive on his scheduled appointment time and hasn't answered my calls since. Phone message says to try messaging the caller. No luck there either, tried four separate times with no replies to any of them. This company was selected for me by our Home Warranty company, who of which I will be canceling that service as well just for assigning an outfit that has no commitment to their own business. The warranty company even told me most reputable home service providers don't work with warranty companies.
BBB shows a D+ rating as well as not being accredited.

It’s horrible, scammers this has to stop. I called them to repair our AC and tom was saying it needs gas or whatever and then it wasn’t working. Then last time he was saying you need to replace the entire unit and buy a new one but a friend came and bought 20 dollar part that he thought was the problem and turned out it was I paid these scammers like 500 dollars and they didn’t fixed it. It only needed 20 dollars. this has to stop. No one use them. Scammers. I hope it closes down soon

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS! My home warranty company Select Home Warranty sent this dork out to my home to look into an appliance issue. Not only did they take my deductible money, they lied to the warranty company and I have literally spent 4+ hours in the last 5 days trying to get the claim situated. DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME!!!

Scammers! They didn’t fix the washer. Left my house, cashed my check and haven’t answered the dozens of calls I’ve made.

Came and diagnosed the problem, then never showed. Didn't answer, full voicemail, took my service fee, which he initially tried to take one for each appliance.
-
They were supposed to fix our ac. Waited almost a week. Wouldn’t answer calls and voicemail was full. Took my service fee then never showed up again to the scheduled appointment time.
-
If I could rate no stars I would. Air is broke came and diagnosed it took my $60 service fee and never came back and fixed the air. They don’t answer the phone either. Now I’m out $60 and my air is still broke.

Save yourself the stress and frustration and don't use this company. Two no shows, no joke! No phone calls to reschedule and won't answer their phone 95% of the time. It's been 2.5 weeks since he diagnosed my appliance! Horrible communication.

Good day, As much as I wanted to appreciate the service provided by this company I ultimately cannot. This is not an establishment that provides any type of reputable repairs. The technician was hours / days late and when they did arrive, didn't even want to repair the issue. I would also like to add that my AC is in pieces that was failed to be reassembled by this technician.
Not even sure how this business still exists. -
Has an appointment scheduled from 3:00pm-8:00pm. They never showed. Then contacted and they said would be 9:00pm. However, they still never showed. My furnace is off and it’s 30 degrees out! Would never use these people again! My family is freezing in the house and I don’t want my pipes to freeze.

The tech came in and took my dryer apart. Said it was just dirty(too much lint). He said the dryer checked out fine. He offered to clean the lint out for 25$ Extra. I said ok. When he finished he gave me the bill and I was charged 35$ instead of the quoted 25$. He would not take the 25$ he quoted. He left and we tried to use the dryer and it was still not working. We now have to pay for another tech to come out.

Do not even consider using this company, total scam! The guy came out to diagnose my refrigerator and took a service call fee. Said it just needed Freon and he’d be back to fix it. Never showed up at the agreed time and was almost impossible to get a hold of. Took two weeks of me calling and texting him to finally get him back. His repair didn’t work at all, shocker. He was unprofessional and rude and obviously has no clue what he’s doing. Had another company come out and they quickly diagnosed the problem as needing a new evaporator. Please do not call this company. They should not be in business. Absolutely ridiculous scam.
