I had a very mixed experience with John Henry’s.

The electrician who performed the work deserves 5 stars. He was professional, on time, courteous, and very clean with his work. The quality of his workmanship was excellent.

Unfortunately, the estimating and administrative side of the company was very disappointing. An estimator showed up at my home without a confirmed appointment while I was at work. The estimate only included the bare minimum work, even though everything installed was capable of supporting a 100-amp service. My home was left with a 60-amp main breaker, even though upgrading to 100 amps would have required virtually no additional labor — just a breaker change while everything was already disconnected.

When I asked about upgrading, I was told it would cost an additional $500 for them to come back out, which I felt was unreasonable. I ended up upgrading it myself for the cost of the permit and breaker.

I also never received an itemized invoice or receipt, despite requesting one.

In summary: excellent electrician, but poor communication, estimating, and follow-through from the office side. Because of that, I cannot fully recommend the company.

John Henry’s was great to work with. They came out, gave us a free estimate on the spot for the work we wanted done and the price was fair. They let us schedule a time that worked for us and then came out and installed our new shower base and mixing valve, and tub and mixing valve with no issues. The guys that came to our house were knowledgeable and patient with the tight tub quarters and figured out the best way to approach it with the least amount of wall repair as able. We are very happy with their work.

We’ve had mostly good service experiences with this company over the years, and earlier interactions would have earned five stars. Technicians were professional, and routine service calls were generally smooth and responsive.

That changed when we began replacing our furnace and AC. We received multiple independent quotes, and every contractor who reviewed our system identified problems with the previous installation work done by this company. It was disappointing to learn that earlier modifications lacked attention to detail and were never corrected by the company.

More recently, our experience declined further. We received an unsolicited message that appeared to be AI-generated and was addressed to someone else. When I called to resolve it, I was routed to an AI agent with no option to speak to a real person. That was frustrating and did not inspire confidence.

What was once a very positive experience continues to decline with each interaction. While we appreciated their service work in the past, installation quality issues and the lack of accessible human support have significantly changed our overall impression.

I would not recommend using this company.

Excellent Service twice a year to service and maintain our Cooling System, Heating and humidifier for our home. Luxury Comfort has been our Go-To Company for many years.
Micah Soldatke is our Technician and provides the knowledge and a friendly smile to take care of our units. Micah is the “Best”.

The guys (Blake and Trevor) and crew did an amazing job here. We are very satisfied with everything. Thanks to Nelson too for all the time spent with us. The wife really appreciated the crew keeping her house clean. Thanks to our daughter in law (Nikki) for recommending your company.

I would like to clarify to the owners response:
We are not currently living at the house which is the reason for my delayed phone call, that was the first time i was at the house since the inspection. When i called i was told there was no way it could have been caused by you guys and was told it would cost $400 to have you guys come look at because it was recommended to have the unit cleaned and you guys insisted that needed done first. At no point was it offered that you guys would come look at it for free, the whole reason i called was because thats what i wanted.. even in your response you are still insinuating i could have caused this, at no point did i change any connections.. Fortunately Benak’s HVAC has a better attention to detail than your tech and found the crossed connections, luckily it didnt burn up the compressor or cause bigger issues, because i know you guys would have denied that as well.

Very shady company can’t even own up to their own mistake! I would DEFINITELY NOT USE THEM!!
I used luxury comfort for a A/C inspection when i was selling a house. A/C worked fine all season, they did their inspection and said it was fine, after the inspection the A/C stopped working! Called luxury comfort and they were insistent it was not caused by them. Had a different company come out and they found the capacitor was connected wrong (compressor to fan connection, and fan to compressor connection) after switching connections around A/C worked again! Called luxury comfort and they still tried to say it was not them. Very shady company can’t even own up to their own mistake! I would DEFINITELY NOT USE THEM!!

We have a new combination Heat Pump and Gas Furnace. It was not working as well as expected. Chandler was the latest tech to look at it. Diagnosed the problem, a part was shipped overnite and installed. Chandler kept us updated on the testing of the system and when he was done we discussed it with him. The best news is that it now works as we expected!!! Very quiet and very warm.

Arrived on time, quickly performed fall maintenance routine on our furnace, and fairly priced.

These guys are awesome to work with, always provided thorough details with before and after pictures on all the work they do. Luis came out to inspect our A/C unit and performance maintenance. Spent nearly an hour going through everything and explained in details what your potential issue was, not a quick 5 minute rush through that the last company (sent over by our Home Warranty) did. Luis was nice and courteous and came back the same day to perform follow up work needed on our unit. I've done business in the past with Luxury Comfort and I just will continue to do so. Definitely recommended

Blake and Marek were very polite, professional and did an excellent job installing our new furnace and air conditioner! On top of that, they did a wonderful job cleaning up! Nelson was awesome to work with and so helpful in making our decisions! Definitely recommend hiring them!

I had a full new HVac unit installed today by Luxury Comfort. The whole process from start to finish was pleasant. The salesman Nelson was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in getting us set up with the unit best for us price wise and also for our home. The technicians Blake and Marek were extremely efficient, a pleasure to work with, and cleaned up so well I wouldn’t know they’d been here if it weren’t for the shiny new unit in the old ones place. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Jacob was very knowledgeable and respectful. That is work quickly he diagnosed a bad blower motor and the cause of it in very little time.

I would never recommend this company for home inspections. I bought my house last February and after owning my house for a few short weeks my roof started leaking into my bathroom. Turns out there was a huge section of roof that was tarred and siliconed but never reported in depth on my home inspection. in fact, the pictures on the inspection didn’t even show the section that was “repaired” improperly. When I reached out to the company I was informed there is nothing they can do about my inspection because the inspector who did my home inspection no longer worked for the company. I was taken advantage of as a first time home buyer and I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

We had Blake out for a full home inspection and he was absolutely incredible. He was through as well as sat down and explained everything to myself and my client. I will definitely be using them again for clients with home inspections.
