I am totally impressed with SOS service. I called them in the morning and they were able to come out within a couple hours. Scott did an awesome job handling my issue and took time to explain our functions of our thermostat. We had purchased a new air conditioner and heating system from them last year and he went through and made sure everything was working properly. I will definitely refer SOS to anyone that needs HVAC services.

SOS has always been our go to when we have heating and cooling issues. They’ve always been prompt and professional and left us feeling like we had trustworthy service and advice. They’ve even given us troubleshooting tips that ended up working and resulted in us not having to have a service call. When it came time to replace our heat pump they gave us a fair price and were able to install it quickly. Highly recommend them.

I have been a customer of SOS for many years and my latest experience with them has prompted me to write a review. This is a rare thing for me.

I got home from vacation last Friday night to a very hot house. I had power but the a/c wasn’t working. I called SOS Saturday morning and was very surprised a technician came out within a few hours. They diagnosed the problem and suggested I could spend significant money on a repair or consider buying a new system. Since my a/c and furnace were 20 years old, I opted for a new system.

Monday morning I was emailed with 4 options. I chose one and the install was two days later. Amazing how quickly my problem got solved!

These guys are great! Their customer service is fantastic. I’m a happy customer.

Ive used SOS Heating and Cooling for many years. They installed a new furnace and heat pump in 2010. I’ve never had any issues with either unit. They inspect my furnace/heat pump every 6 months. They change the filter and clean out both units. Every te h I Ian that has come to my house is professional and polite. I highly recommend SOS

SOS installed a new AC/Furnace today in my home. They were on time, organized and efficient. Everything looks good to me. I got a lower end HVAC unit, so just hoping it all holds up overtime. But definitely happy with SOS from my experience today.

Air conditioner decided it was done. SOS came out to evaluate, got it running, but needed to be replaced.. we thought it would be months, but it was days! So very professional, knowledgeable, and nice! From the initial guy to the office staff and the installers, a great team! Could not have had a better experience!

I had SOS come out to do a preventative maintenance check on my air conditioning unit today. The technician Jacob was very professional, thorough, and walked me through each aspect of the inspection. My bill was exactly what was discussed. I appreciate this company and will continue to use them in the future.

I called SOS Heating & Cooling to check out my Furnace/AC unit. The were able to come over that day. They serviced the unit, got it working properly, and even cleaned it up for me. Jody, my technician, was knowledgable and taught me some things about the units themselves. I felt like the work was well done and affordable. Not once did I feel like they were taking advantage. Would definitely recommend.

SOS Heating & Cooling has been around Omaha area for many years. It is family owned and was started by the grandfather, then his son and now his son (Jon). In this case, my interest was to simply replace an old tired heat pump, yet our furnace was only 8 years old and was still good. I reached out to them via Angie's List and Jon was very responsive and built the quote on his laptop during the walk through visit. His bid was about $100 lower than the other lowest bid, but there was a much stronger value in the product and support. They installed a 3.5 ton York heat pump that is manufactured in Wichita (USA made) and they bundled a service contract for 10 years on parts and labor. -That is one heck of a value proposition.

The system was ordered and arrived in about a week and we set up installation date. His technicians are very experienced and one of the guys has been with the SOS family 41 years and the other 44 years. I love that about these two! One of them said he sees his teammate more than he sees his wife!! LOL

They were accommodating, informational and they laid protective coverings on the paths in the house so the floors/carpets didn't get dirty. Both know the precautions regarding COVID and wore their mask the entire day except while working on the heat pump outdoors.

Without reservation, I would encourage you to get to know the SOS family and do business with a local that earns your respect immediately and throughout the process. Hands down 5 stars!!

SOS was a pleasure to due business with, Jon came out quickly after our AC shutdown on Fathers Day, with multiple options for a complete removal and replace. All priced competitively. Rudy and Jim were here first thing in the morning and had it up and running before I returned home from work. They were professional and personable. Even notice the small steps, I made to make their job easier. If you need to make a repair and replacement, use this company!!! If your furnace is over 18, it’s time for it to move out!!! SOS combined our Thermostat and Humidifier controls into a smart thermostat. Took their time explaining how the new thermostat worked and how to use the extra features. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly!

Been working with these guys for a while on bigger job around town. All there service technicians have a lot of experience and don’t mess around. They always do a great job, and help other trades on site as much as possible. Great communication, they pick up after and overall do great work. For a fair price. Can’t ask for anything else.

Very quick to respond. My furnace was emitting an intermit. Squeel. I phone at 9am and was seen at 3pm. The technicians assessment was quick. He took the time to locate the part! He quoted usthe 3 optios available.He then went and obtained the part. The part was installed and furnace was running perfectly when he left!

Our York AC was not able to reduce the humidity to the 40% we wanted during the summer months. SOS installed a whole house dehumidifier. After a couple weeks the humidity was at 40% and did not deviate no matter the humid weather. Well worth the expense. I recommend SOS for all A/C & Htg needs.
