My husband and I decided to go with a new HVAC company after we became rather disenfranchised with the one we had been using for close to 20 years. We found Complete Comfort Heating and Cooling. My husband called and talked to them and explained our situation. All of his questions were answered and we were able to get a technician schedule to come out a couple of days later to complete our annual furnace check. They showed up right on time, were very efficient, answered all of our questions and explained why they needed to do a little additional work. They were friendly and professional! We look forward to working with this company for many years! Very happy with them so far!

The folks here are always understanding when something goes wrong, they do everything they can to get us back running quickly. I appreciate receiving the text that my technician is on the way and includes a photo so I know who to expect. They are always friendly and explain what has happened. Recently, DJ was here to reset our furnace and he went ahead with our seasonal maintenance check as well which was great! We have had the team install new furnaces at multiple houses and wouldn’t trust anyone else with our HVAC needs.

Our furnace went out early in the morning and with these cold temps, it got cold in the house real fast. We called Complete Comfort heating and cooling. The on call service tech, Tanner, was super professional and honest. We will be continuing service with this company! 10/10 highly recommend!

Tanner T. installed a smart thermostat for me and was very patient and pleasant when helping me set up a new account for the Honeywell app. (My original account for app was linked to a previous home.) I highly recommend Complete Comfort.

When my existing furnace quit working, the company I'd been using for years was quick to offer replacement. There was no explanation of efficiency or choices. I felt like my questions were cumbersome. As the weather was warm, I decided to get three other bids.

My goal to update efficiency within the parameters of the federal tax credit available in 2025. This improvement would require the existing venting to be replaced outside. I asked for pictures of others work and I was horrified. PVC pipe all over the place.

Complete Comfort had a specialist come out and design the new venting. They took measurements and offered different solutions. My neighbor even commented that cosmetically, my outside is beautiful and his well, obviously not done by Complete Comfort.🙂
The team also understood my request for a balanced clean look inside.
Mark helped insure the system was exaclty what was needed.

The project included heat/air and humidifier. We added an air scrubber for my allergies. The total price was reasonable.
I shared headache concerns and they even inspected my water heater vent.
My home is warm and the dust has decreased. My headaches are even getting better.
I would say it is a miracle, actually it's a great company that listens, cares and goes above and beyond to solves the customers needs.

Jake did a service call for me and did a great job! He was kind, friendly, and very respectful. He took great care of the maintenance on my HVAC system and explained things clearly. He showed up on time, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. We have always received quality service from A-1 United and our service today was no exception. Our unit is 25 years old and required an AC service call. Our service technician was Rick who did the follow up when the unit was initially installed and he quickly diagnosed the problem. In a day when companies try to sell you service you do not need it was nice to see someone who genuinely takes pride in their work and did not tell us it was time for a new unit. For almost a year now, I have been working with Chris, an installation technician with A-1 United Heating, Air & Electrical, in the Council Bluffs, IA - new construction residential homes industry. He is very helpful, honest, positive, professional, and works quickly and efficiently. Chris has an excellent work ethic and goes above and beyond what he can, to ensure everything is completed and operational- not just for me, the Superintendent /Builder, but also for the customers' and their biggest investment, their home.

Sean and Brendan installed a new heating and air conditioning system. They worked diligently and seemingly without a break. They were friendly and did an excellent job of set up and explanation of use. I almost expected some damage to landscaping in installing the AC unit, but there was none. I think they left my home cleaner than when they came.
I couldn't be happier with the quality and efficiency of the system they installed. I was most interested in a very quiet AC unit and the Lennox AC system they installed far exceeded my expectations.

Very responsive! Fixed my furnace issue quickly and did not try to sell me anything. Explained what was happening. Very pleased!

Kevin was courteous and professional and did a great job explaining what the problem was and how it could be repaired.
It's unfortunate that it took 4 visits to get at the root cause of the problem which caused additional expense for me.

I was happy how quickly A1 was able to send Joseph out. Joseph was great at informing me as well as educating me each step of the way. He was committed to resolving our situation and coming to a resolution. Joseph communicated the costs clearly so there were no surprises and even offered to add the 2x/year services package.

I have had poor experiences with a couple other companies in town from previous services. Our family had to replace our AC and furnace, so we decided to go through Costco and it turns out to be a very good decision. I get a better system and price compared to the others. Not only that but I get Costco cash card for my purchase and excellent service from A-1 United. Grant and Jake were very professional and courteous. The installation of the furnance look very good and so much better than the previous system it replaced. They were very thorough throughout the installation and took their time to do the job correct. I highly recommend A1 United they have a complete installation process to ensure the system is installed and working correctly.

JD with A-1 was amazing and kind!! He arrived promptly on a Sunday to help us with our broken unit. My husband and I were thankful for his expertise and knowledge with working out our issue with our HVAC unit. JD talked us through why the unit was not working and how to properly clean our outside unit so it doesn’t happen again. We appreciate JD and his company for supporting their customers during a stressful time.

Rick was very customer oriented and paid attention to detail by noticing my humidifier was no longer working. He was able to fix it during the inspection of the furnace …helping me avoid an additional service fee!

I was surprised by how quickly A1 was able to send Joseph out. Our situation was difficult to diagnose, but he kept me informed each step of the way. He told me what he was doing and why he was doing it. He was committed to resolving our situation as quickly as he could to get us relief from a super hot day. Joseph communicated the costs clearly so there were no surprises. I'm grateful for his professionalism and perseverance handling a challenging problem.

Zach just performed my annual maintenance check on my furnace. Outstanding job! He’s very personable, communicates clearly, and gave a thorough explanation of everything he worked on (pictures included). Awesome service.
