I found Black Mountain Air after being repeatedly overcharged by our previous HVAC company for the same recurring issue. The second company we tried kept putting temporary fixes on the problem, and every few months we were stuck paying for yet another service visit. We were frustrated and wanted a family owned business that actually stands behind its work.

Black Mountain Air was exactly what we were looking for. Their integrity shows. They truly care about their customers and I don’t mean that lightly. They took the time to diagnose the real problem, fix it correctly, and make sure we understood what was going on. Our furnace now runs more efficiently and is noticeably quieter.

Their pricing was more than fair for the quality and scope of work. Robert and his associate were fantastic, professional, honest, and a pleasure to work with. After our experience today, I won’t be using anyone else for my HVAC or plumbing needs. A breath of fresh air in this industry. Highly recommend!

I actually had 4 bids from other larger companies, they were all just like dealing with used car sales persons with little experience. The install was scheduled and completed right on schedule. We could not be any happier with our new heating system. Quiet, comfortable and simple to use. The best warranty you will find! I had a situation where I participated in an energy program through PGE where the installers of the equipment hooked things up incorrectly. After my heat and AC starting running at the same time, I called American Residential Heating & Cooling to check my system out. Austin showed up and starting working diligently. He could have easily charged whatever and went along with the poor work previously done. Instead, he troubleshooted a few hours to ensure the problem was identified and showed me exactly where the problem was from the incorrect installation previously done. He even took the time to get on the phone and make sure the previous folks knew that hazards they caused and the damage that could have been done.
I appreciate that he worked hard to fix what needed be and didn't take advantage in any way of our situation. It's a done deal now for when it's time for any type yearly check up on our system or repairs needed down the road; American Residential Heating & Cooling.

We struggled through the holiday season with an intermittent furnace issue. I called American Residential heating, they were here within 3 hours. Austin was great! He figured out the issue and fixed it very quickly. He explained the issue, and made sure that I understood what was going on. I would definitely refer American Residential to family and friends.
