Home Services reviews in Las Vegas, Nevada

They start making noise at 6:50am in the community park behind my house. We can’t sleep past that because of the noise. My community used to be serviced by Jaramillo Landscaping and now we have these tools that have no care for people or their sleep.

Gothic Landscaping did an absolutely amazing job in the landscaping design and implementation of our backyard. Beautiful desert landscaping intertwined with and surrounding a pool (they seamlessly partnered with Nevada Pools to execute on an overall design, quality, look, and feel) with tile and stone, a raised travertine deck with a fire pit, and an inviting BBQ area was combined with natural greenery, varying colors, and native plants. A dry river bed between the pool and the fire pit deck added a special division amongst the many features. They created an oasis where we feel like we are on vacation when simply going into our backyard. Competitively priced (we had multiple bids) but with a more creative and artful approach, they implemented with no hassles and provided a wonderful experience. Borrowing from language in the art world, it is truly a masterpiece at which our neighbors and guests marvel.

They're contracted to do our front yard and common area landscaping for our HOA. In 7 months, they've only touched my plants twice, and only because I called to complain that I could no longer access my front door without shimmying sideways to get through the bushes. Even then the largest bush on my property was only trimmed on the front half. Did you think I wouldn't notice? The back half of the top was a foot longer than the rest. Our HOA has paid them tens of thousands of dollars and we have very little to show for it... Just the most unkempt our neighborhood has looked in the past 7 years since we've lived here.
And many of their good reviews here on Google are by employees attempting to increase their star rating. So take them with a grain of salt. -
Gothic took over the landscaping in my community. They are always here, but not necessarily for working. It seems as if they are working for the HOA because they perform the neighborhood inspector job like reporting things to the HOA that has nothing to do with the upkeep of the community. For example, as we placed Christmas lights in our front yard the landscaper came and parked adjacent to my home and contacted the HOA notifying them of what we were doing. I guess they get kick backs from the HOA for doing there jobs. In addition, they only maintain certain areas in the community literally they parked in the cul-de-sac from 6:50am-7:30am never got out of the truck I guess hiding from work. I’m not impressed with there professionalism or quality of work. If I could rate them negative 10 I would.

Slowly pulling a fully loaded trailer into oncoming traffic while cutting everyone off is just so dangerous. You could have caused an accident. I see I'm not the only one to comment on your dangerous driving. Do better.
-
Apparently stop signs are optional for them. A stop sign to take a right turn when I am going straight and I had no stop sign is a smooth move. He didn't even slow down. Dangerous and entitled.

I wish our HOA would fire this company at Heritage at Cadence. They are worthless...everything overgrown and they only focus on the clubhouse area. I have to take care of the common areas by my own home because they cannot do their job correctly and the poor landscaping reflects my home. Do not hire this company you will be sorry you did.

I went through alot of landscape companies but Gothic is by far the BEST one around!!! They came and trimmed up my front & back yard in no time . They left it spotless. They’re very nice and professional. Definitely recommend them. Thanks again….

Horrible service, they never answer the phone. Terrible way to gain customers. Red flags from the beginning.

They were hired by an HOA, came by next to my house and turned on an extremely loud watering machine at 6 am. Kept waking up my 6 month old twins.

Every experience I've had with Tim at Gothic Landscape has been impressive due to his prompt responses and reliability. Whether I'm reporting an issue like a leak in a community or just reaching out for routine service, Tim handles it all swiftly and efficiently.
Tim sets himself apart with his proactive communication. He doesn't just fix problems; he also promptly notifies me once the work is completed, ensuring that I am kept in the loop.
Thank you Tim! I appreciate all you do! -
Very professional company! I have engaged with Gothic for several years and they do not disappoint. Their communication is unparalleled. Many of their employees have been with the company for 20+ years so I always have consistency in not only communication, but service as well. I love that they will also attend Board meetings to ensure the community is kept in the loop. You can't go wrong with Gothic!

I live in apartment complex and the gentleman who literally dropped his trash bag to see what I needed help with, aka a hungover tree outside of my window.. he cleaned it and it looks even more beautiful. So sir whoever you are. Thank you, that tree is my sight in the morning, and it's a beautiful sight to look at!

Does not stand behind their work and expects new home builder to pay for a defective part that they installed.
I purchased my new construction house in June of 2024. In April of 2025 a corroding/leaking irrigation valve was identified. Since the house was purchased about 10 months ago, I reached out to the home builder to see about getting a repair. The home builder provided me the contact information for the vendor that installed irrigation system, Gothic Landscape.
Gothic Landscape told me that it is no longer under warranty as the warranty expired in March of 2025. They were saying that they start their warranty based off the install date, and not the date that the new owner purchases the property. Even so, 13 months is a very premature failure for an irrigation valve. Good customer service would be fixing a problem that is less than a month out of warranty, especially on a new build that has been lived in for less than a year.
They are stating that the only way to get it fixed without costing me anything is to try and get the home builder to pay them to fix it. So Gothic Landscape wants the home builder to pay to fix a defective part that Gothic Landscape installed. Sleazy business practice if you ask me.
If you want a company that stands behind their work, make sure you avoid Gothic Landscape. -
I'm only giving four stars for Gothic landscaping at this time due to the fact that it's only the second time they have been taking care of our property they've recently obtained an account that was seriously neglected within two visits this property is beautiful ... I will continue updates on the progress... I have upgraded them to five star as soon as I figure out how to post more pictures you will see how amazing this property looks I highly recommend them and just a quick shout out to Jonathan he is an asset to any company he works for

We our so pleased with Modern Landscape, working with Tom was a real delight.I had contacted two other company's in the past year both worked hard to come up with the design that my wife and I envisioned but fell short of what we wanted for the budget we had. When we walked our yard with Tom and his son Branden they helped us understand what plants and trees do well in the heat and which ones do not.Their design was spot on for what we wanted and looked even better when they were finished. If you want knowledgeable professionals who care about what you want and not just out to make a buck then Modern Landscape is your company, we highly recommend them.

They offered a 10 year warranty. The turf they installed melted and the blamed poor turf/stains on my pool.
Buyer beware, their product is inferior and they DO NOT honor any warranty. -
HOAs, they are a pain in the butt. Whenever I see their nagging letters in the mailbox, it brings me no joy. This time, they wanted me to replace my tree. I really liked this tree, but it was dead.
Luckily, Modern Landscape was there to help me get two new trees in. They were very professional from start to finish and I look forward to using their service for future landscaping projects. -
Brandon and his crew did a fantastic job on our backyard!
