Recently purchased a new home in Ardiente community, North Las Vegas. After many interviews I chose Modern Landscape to design the front and back yards. Tom, the owner, listened to my needs and put together a beautiful layout. The plant usage and placement seem to tie everything together. Within two days the work was completed by his crew. I would highly recommend Modern Landscape to family, friends or anyone who is looking for someone to bring your yard to life.

Brandon and his crew achieved a beautiful landscape for us last fall. Brandon listened to our ideas and created a very enjoyable space in our front yard. The job was completed quickly and they cleaned up perfectly. Brandon was there to oversee every step of the way. We have received many complements from our neighbors on our new yard. Brandon at Modern was fantastic. He responded to my inquiry quickly and came to evaluate my backyard and give me a quote timely. He designed a backyard that met my desires of low maintenance and attractive, and put effort into making sure it was exactly what I wanted. He was a pleasure to work with and always answers questions I have (even now, almost 6 months after the work is completed) about the plants or maintenance of the backyard generally. He worked with me to get the documents I needed to send to my HOA for approval. Highly recommend this company!

Modern Landscape is the best landscape design and install company in Las Vegas! Owner Tom helped me 6 years ago plan out the design of our backyard and hit our vision head on. Fast forward 6 years later and we now have our dream pool and were in need to finish off our dream backyard. There was no doubt we were calling Modern Landscape back to finish the final touches. Tom came back and went above and beyond to ensure that our backyard exceeded our expectations. Tom and Modern Landscape did an amazing job on our backyard. We had started some landscaping ourselves, but schedules got crazy and we needed help. Tom came in and kept the project right in line with what we were thinking and kept in well priced. Work was completed quickly and professionally and we could not be happier with our backyard. Let me start off by saying, we love Modern Landscaping!
We contacted several landscape companies and advised them all on what we wanted. They all gave us approximately the same estimate which was not what we wanted to spend. Tom (from Modern Landscaping) was the only one who told us to give him a number ($) and he'll do his best to give us what we wanted. The following day a gave him a number and 2 days later he already had a blueprint made out. Shortly after that, Tom and his men started working on our yard. They did an amazing job. Every time I had a concern, Tom was quick to address it. Tom made the entire experience easy and non stressful.
We've had our yard completed for almost three months now and Tom is always quick to respond to any of my text messages when I have questions about the plants and lawn.

We absolutely loved working with Tom of Modern Landscape to design and build our landscape for our small backyard last fall! We went into our first meeting with him thinking we knew what we wanted. Right away he gave us some ideas for our small backyard space that situated our seating area in a way that gave us more open sky views and limited our views of closely neighboring homes. We did our due diligence and interviewed 4 other landscapers, but after every meeting we knew we'd be using Tom. He was simply the most professional, took our ideas and concerns seriously, and was the best value for our design. He was great about following up on all our questions about plants and designs, and worked with us quite a bit to get the most out of our budget. After we decided to just stick with simple concrete to meet our budget, he took the time to add some small but striking design elements to the concrete to give it a better look. All his staff were exceptionally professional while they were here and left our yard and street immaculate. Tom and his staff involved me as the plants went in to make sure everything was laid out in a way I liked...and were incredibly polite and accommodating when I asked them to switch two very large plants/palms after i looked at them in the ground for a day. What has really stood out to me as well has been Tom's response back to me when I had a concern about the growth of our palm. He stopped by, checked every plant's health, and gave me more tips on how to care for the yard and even great hints on potted plants for the patio. Further, when one of our plants didn't revive after the winter, he was quick to replace it! I'd hire Modern Landscape again in a heartbeat and have recommended Tom to every one of my neighbors!

Branden and the team were great to work with. I was glad to work with a family business and their passion for plants/the project really showed.

Everyone was super professional and buttoned up starting from the initial consult and proposal. Pricing was transparent and reasonable. The crew worked so hard the days they were here, were respectful of the space, and showed incredible attention to detail. Branden came to our house regularly to check on progress. When I texted with questions or changes (even very last minute), Branden was responsive and helpful.

I would absolutely work with them again and will recommend to any friends who need work done!

Modern Landscape is THE BEST. I have used them on several occasions for whole yard makeovers, and time and time again I am blown away by their professionalism, design work, actual work and most of all their patience when there are questions or concerns. We had a great experience working with Modern Landscape, from design through to the final execution of the project.

We had a few ideas, and they really brought them to life. They kept within our budget and really created something we could not have done on our own. I also appreciate the follow up visit they booked as well as an adjustment they made to our tree, free of charge.

My husband found Modern Landscape just by happen chance. And I can't tell you how happy I am that he did. Normally, we only select any service/company we plan to use 'by word-of-mouth'. This family owned business is exceptional and so is the entire crew who work 'with them'....not 'for them'....because Tom and his family treat all the 'crew' as family. What a fabulous quality to have in a company, especially in these times, and I have no doubt that Miguel, Enrique, Antonio, Jorge, Oscar and Edgar, feel the same way. Tom is very knowledgeable about what plants/shrubs do well in the LV climate, and that is something with which we needed guidance, for sure. He's got quite the eye for design as well - as evidenced by their website. Branden, his son, was extremely helpful when we had any concerns and provided us a wonderful 'Landscape Care Packet'. In the 20+ years we have been in this home, we have had to add/replace landscaping at least 4-5 different times. This nice feature was never offered to us previously. In the past, the landscapers have always put the same emitter heads for every shrub/plant. Not in this case! Miguel and his crew knew exactly what heads to put on each and every shrub, so the shrub/plant gets the correct amount of water. If we ever have a need for more landscaping work, Modern Landscape is who we will be calling. Thank you to all the

Modern Landscape did a great job on my backyard landscape project which involved a 12' x 12' pergola with paver floor and walkway, artificial turf with steel edging, irrigation system for 30 cacti of different varieties, numerous 2' x 2' stepping stones, and a lot of rock. The work quality was exceptional and the attention to detail was really good. The work crew was very diligent, professional, efficient, friendly, and more than willing to answer numerous questions along the way. Importantly, Tom was really great to work with - knowledgeable, high attention to detail, easy to work with, and friendly. Importantly, he takes ownership of the entire project and has a strong customer orientation. Overall, great work quality and fantastic customer experience. Highly recommended!

Super thrilled with the entire process. After searching for landscaping companies in Las Vegas, I stumbled upon their website. The website alone looked professional and out of my budget, but I went for it anyway to get a quote. I gave a low range for which I was aiming to pay, and they designed everything within my budget. Our yard was a total disaster: crumbling old play structure, raised concrete slab in the middle of the backyard, broken built-in grill, very old AstroTurf, overgrown cypress trees, and non-kid friendly and non-pet friendly plants. They ripped everything out and started anew. I asked for simple, clean lines, low maintenance, kid and pet friendly, and low cost. They hit every one of my asks. When I sat down to go over the design, they went line by line on the plans, with cost broken down to the line, so I could see how much each thing was costing me and decide if I wanted to do something myself to save money. Since they were already within budget, I was thrilled to let the professionals do it. After I signed the contract and got HOA approval, it was to be about 2 months until they could fit me in the schedule, but I figured that was no problem. Then they called me up a few days later and said they could start on Monday because they just had an opening! A complete demolition, and installation of plants, rock, water system, and all the leveling that went with that, in 4 days. It would have taken me months to do that on the weekends. They came back a week or two later for the turf, but that was not a problem for me. My yard was done still over a month before they thought they were going to start, and they did it in record time. My dog ate one of the bushes the first week after installation, and they offered to replace it free of charge. I certainly wasn't going to take them up on that, it was my dog who destroyed it, so I ended up replacing it with one of the vine plants that they had put elsewhere in the yard and that my dog didn't seem interested in eating. They've been responsive, checking in via text, and sending instructions via email for care of my yard. I decided after the fact I wanted them to install a fertilizer system, and they came back and did that just last week. We've been enjoying the backyard now for a few months, and I'm simply in love. It's everything we need for the kids and us to enjoy a simple backyard Las Vegas life. I was asked to write an honest review, but I am getting no compensation for doing so, for the record.

This company deserves ALL the stars! Branden and the crew at Modern Landscape went above and beyond for us. We searched for over a year for the right landscaper, getting the run around from most, some never even returned our calls. We had our time wasted over and over again. Branden always answered calls and texts promptly, kept his appointments and was straight up about what he could and couldn’t do. We wanted someone who could not only get the job done but be super creative with it. He created a beautiful sanctuary for us from what was a pile of dirt. You can’t go wrong with company.

I received quotes from several landscape companies to renovate our huge backyard before meeting with Modern Landscapes. I knew exactly what I was looking for and had a clear vision of what I wanted the backyard to look like. From the first contact with Modern Landscapes, they were professional, responsive, organized and on time. A little while after coming to the house to take measurements and talk about what I was looking for, I was able to meet Tom for a presentation of his design. I was absolutely blown away. Not only did he nail the "vibe" I was going for, he completely turned what I had expressed into a reality. It wasn't at all what I had sketched out myself, it was 1,000 times better! Not only was the design gorgeous, his quote came in exactly at the budget we had given him. Once the project was completed, I finally had my oasis, and a family friendly place to entertain. Since the renovation, we have had friends, family and neighbors visit and everyone is in awe of the transformation. Every single person has loved and commented on how beautiful and comfortable the yard is now. Even after the project was complete and we had little things come up, Modern Landscapes were attentive and responsive and took care of any small concerns we had. I definitely recommend this amazing company for any landscape project!
