I highly recommend Splash Pool Service and Repair to anyone looking for quality service and outstanding professionalism. In the past year of service my pool has never had a problem with chemicals and they have totally resolved a pesky problem with yellow algae. This week they replaced my pool pump for a very reasonable price and the install looks very nice. Staff are always courteous and genuinely committed to quality work.

My husband and I needed assistance after my father in law passed. We needed to find someone to maintain the pool, we received one visit/quote from another company who upon looking around moved some valve positions which started the pool draining into the hot tub and the hot tub overflowing. This wasn't noticed until we woke the next day. With my husband and I not having any pool knowledge we turned it all off to stop the overflowing, called several companies that either couldn't fit us in or couldn't get to us for a few weeks. I found Splash, called and spoke to Sally. Sally advised that Friday (5 days away) was soonest appointment but after explaining the situation and that the system was off the owner Scott came by himself 2 hours later. He was so kind, knowledgeable and overall a great guy. He came to our rescue and took one stress off my shoulders. I would totally recommend Scott and Splash to anyone. The whole first experience with them was awesome! Thank you Sally and Scott, you're the best!

From the start of my experience Splash Pool Service and Repair it has been phenomenal. Being a first time homebuyer and have a little knowledge about pools. It was great to have some who has such a good working knowledge of my pool and the system for so long to guide me through process of getting it together. After only being in my home only a week the pressure valve blew. I called splash as they had been coming to clean the pool before I moved in. They have been Awesome. Marie Holcomb 😁

We've had Splash since our other pool service sold them they're accounts! Not so happy with Splash after the last two interactions! Today our pool needed cleaned you could clearly see light algae on bottom! Guy from Splash came skimmed top, I saw him and put on my shoes to go talk to him . To my surprise he was already in his truck with it started ! He wanted to leave when he saw me come out gate.. I asked him to go clean the pool. He barely vacuumed and left. No liquid chlorine no new chlorine in basket. Not happy with the service. After he left took water to Leslie's and it needed shock. So I added shock and brushed and it's clear as can be.

I have used Splash Pool Service for the last 9 years. I was an absentee landlord living on the east coast, I hired Splash to take care of the pool at my rental and they did a fantastic job over the years. Anytime there was an issue with the pool or a repair needed to be done they got the job done right and done quickly. It was so great working with a company that I didn't have to worry about doing the job right, a company that still believes in great customer service and providing a quality service.

Extremely Disappointed with Splash Pool Service - Unreliable and Unresponsive

I am beyond frustrated with the pool service provided by Splash Pool Service. This review serves as an outlet for me to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with their services.

Let me start by saying that Splash Pool Service has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Their lack of reliability is simply unacceptable. Time and time again, they have failed to show up on time, leaving my pool neglected and in disarray. It is incredibly frustrating to plan around their scheduled visits only to be continuously let down. Their inability to meet even the most basic reliability expectations is unforgivable.

On top of their unreliability, the level of unresponsiveness from Splash Pool Service is astonishing. It feels like pulling teeth to get a response from them. Phone calls and emails go unanswered, leaving me feeling neglected and unheard of as a customer. It is disheartening to be met with silence when attempting to seek assistance or address concerns.

To make matters worse, Splash Pool Service dares to charge exorbitant prices for their subpar work. It is a shame that I have wasted a significant amount of money on a service that falls far below acceptable standards. The cost does not align with the quality of work provided, which is unacceptable. I expected value for my hard-earned money, but instead, I have been left feeling tricked and taken advantage of.

The employees at Splash Pool Service are unprofessional, entitled, and infuriating.

Their lack of knowledge and dedication to their work is appalling. It is unfortunate to witness the waste of good talent within a company that does not invest in training or maintaining a competent workforce. I had the privilege of experiencing a previous pool attendant who was exceptional, making the decline in service from Splash Pool Service all the more disheartening.

In conclusion, I strongly caution against using Splash Pool Service. Their unreliability, unresponsiveness, and inflated prices make them an incredibly frustrating choice for pool maintenance. It pains me to see the waste of good talent within a company that consistently falls short of providing satisfactory service.

I sincerely hope that Splash Pool Service takes this review to heart and makes substantial improvements. As a customer, I expect professionalism, reliability, and fair pricing. Regrettably, Splash Pool Service fails to deliver on all fronts.

Save yourself the frustration and seek a pool service provider that values its customers and delivers on its promises. You deserve better than what Splash Pool Service has to offer.

Update: Splash worked with my wife to resolve our concerns. Here is the update to the review, as requested.

Hector came out and replaced our control panel for our pool/spa. He was very efficient and made sure everything worked before he left. Professional and walked me through step by step on my phone to use this new system. Really appreciated his time in doing this and did not rush. Patient and great customer service. Thank you! Will definitely call Splash, Hector when we have to replace our whole system. A very honest company! Thank you!

Do not get pool service with this company. The guy that come out stood in my backyard on his phone texting and did not do his job, I have him on video in my yard for 15 minutes text messaging and then leaving, I refused to pay for work that wasn't done and they sent me to collections!! I sent them a video of what their guy was doing in my backyard, and they didn't care... Beware of this company!!

When cleaning the filter, the tech unnecessarily removed the intellichlor cell and then put it on backwards. This caused numerous problems and expense.
Splash pools didn't seem to care.We fired them but are stuck with the repairs including probably a new pool heater.
Rating 1 star because they might have done something right.

Our pool was starting to turn green and we couldn’t keep up with it during these hot months. Skyler came out and quoted us a reasonable price and within 40 minutes the pool was no longer green and cleaner looking than ever. Highly recommend Skyler and Splash!

We had been with Splash for many years. They got bought out and when down hill fast. Techs not showing up. Techs scared of the dogs. We have asked them to come after 11 so someone would be home. Always came at 9. Never a call back. They finally called me and canceled us after not showing up for over a month.

I have been a customer of Splash Pool Service for some time now. I feel very fortunate to have found Splash Pool Service using reviews such as this, and in doing so I find that I am extremely satisfied. Steve, my technician, is always prompt and I can attest that ever since I hired Splash Pool Service I have not experience any problems with my pool, which I continually had prior to then. I have had my pool pump replaced and most recently had them drain my pool and removed calcium build up. Simply stated, my pool looks like when I had it installed 13 years ago. These projects were completed within days of my request. Working with the owner, Scott, was extremely easy and I am impressed that he is genuinely committed to quality service.

I made an appointment to have my pool summarized and Splash made an appointment but never showed up. I called them and was told "don't call us we'll call you". Finally the Tech came out to watch an hour of "YouTube" on how to change a pool timer, he couldn't do it but did washed out my filters. Called Blue West Coast to get the timer changed to summertime hours, they came the same day and 5 minutes to change it. Splash asked me to remove an earlier post and would get it done, took the post down and Splash did nothing.

We have been with Oasis for many years and when Splash purchased them it was a rough go at first with moving the service guys around to different routes. But after a couple of months we got our guy Brian Lambert back. We are super happy with Brian because he communicates with us on things the pool needs and not just what he wants to sell, every week he shows up with a good attitude and does his job and afterwards if he has seen something he will bring it up. The pool always looks so nice and clean after he is done. GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!!!!

Splash has been bought by a new company and they are driving it into the ground.
I have a different service tech every week.
Before if the service tech noticed anything wrong, they would communicate that, now they don’t.

Now, if you would like to know anything about your own pool, they charge about $150 to schedule someone else to inspect it.
Even if the issue is obvious, they do not tell you, i had to chase them down a few times asking them if my pool vacuum was working and they said they don’t fix those anymore.
Communication is there biggest problem and lack of detail now.
I have a list of things they are no longer competent at but at this point I am too exhausted with them.
I couldn’t get my pool lights to turn on, I asked for their diagnosis and a month later, no one has written or called me or even checked on them although I have called plenty of times trying to follow up.
Even their new receptionist seems lost everytime I call.
It’s unfortunate because they used to be great but it did not change for the better but for worse:

The service you provide reflects in every aspect of life, even when you are interacting in public while in uniform or even driving in town representing your company in your company truck. This isn't the first offense as I have reviewed past reviews and once again the person representing the company in the company truck almost caused a severe and even fatal accident around 2pm yesterday on the 95/I11 south. I suggest reevaluating your insurance or your hiring practices.

Our pool and spa have been maintained by Splash Pools for over ten (10) years now. This year we had to have the pool drained, tile cleaned as well as the calcium build-up on the rock removed. Quite an extensive job was needed. It required knowledge of what type of products to be used and pure muscle. Not only was it a sweltering hot day, the two (2) man crew had to wear protective gear while working. This two (2) man crew, Stanley and Dorian worked diligently with enthusiasm. They were eager to get the job done and to do it right! The result of their hard work is outstanding. The rocks are clean. The tile is shining. The pool is glistening! From start to finish the job was done beautifully! Much respect to you both, Stanley and Dorain! You did an absolutely fabulous job! Splash Pools is lucky to have you gentlemen. And we are lucky we have Splash Pools! And in case anyone reading this review wants to know, the price for this job was extremely reasonable!

Splash Pool truck was recklessly traveling southbound on Cabana Dr., midday, April 8th, 2025.

Speeding, passing on the right into the bicycle lane, etc. It was really bad. No service business should allow their techs to drive like this, let alone represent their company this way. It's hard to imagine that an employee that has so little regard for their work vehicle, let alone the public at large, would provide any sort of quality service when it comes to pool care.

Splash pools has been a breath of fresh air! We have gone through 5 companies in the last few years and they have by far been the best in service and pricing. They always follow up with pictures-even before and after pictures of our filters when they are cleaned. We are grateful for their hard work and recommend them to anyone looking for a professional pool service company.
