DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. First off, hard to get a hold of & poor communication. The office person, Johnny, is extremely rude and unwilling to help. Working through home warranty, they have no sense of urgency. Came out first time after a WEEK of my air being out, changed capacitors (after I already told them it was the motor) and the air went out 2 hours later. Made a follow up appointment for 2 days later (refused to send technician back that day) After this, Johnny said he never received my home warranty’s recall order and now I am waiting and he says they can’t come out for 5 MORE DAYS. I believe he is lying and just did not want to help because I was unhappy with his service.

Outstanding service from AMA Air They installed a new water heater at my home, and the work was top-notch. The team was professional and respectful, and they even followed up to make sure everything was working perfectly. I’m impressed!

One star does not even begin to describe how incompetent this company is. I had the misfortune of this company being sent to my house by my home warranty company, Old Republic, to replace a water heater. AMA Air is perfect example of “lowest bidder” and that is why Old Republic uses them. It took 4 appointments, of which AMA was late to arrive for all 4, to replace a water heater. The technician did not speak any English, so all issues had to be done my typing into his phone which then translated for him. Each time the tech indicated he was done, I showed him another leak. On his third attempt to repair, he ran the gas heater for about 20 minutes with no water in the tank! Fairly certain that there is damage to the heater due that oversight. The Technician did not install the required earthquake straps until I pointed it out and another appointment had to be made.

They charged numerous fees for “modifications” that not only Old Republic did not pay for, but also were not performed. I took pictures of the areas that “modifications” were to be made BEFORE the work began. I discreetly marked all the parts that were to be “modified” and they were in no way modified as they were the same parts reconnected in the same way as they were before the work began. I had to threaten to take the pictures to small claims court for them to refund 1/3 of the bogus charges.

The water heater still is not performing correctly and has to be turned to the highest setting to get 2 showers with hot water. The recirculating pump for the “instant hot”, that I was billed $175 for “modification”, does not work at all. If it is turned on, there is only about 5 minutes of hot water.

All invoices are for the service where on a letter head from a different company (Elite Restoration) with a different contractors licence.

I have now hired my own plumber to fix everything that AMA Air broke. He has indicated that the water heater is likely damaged from being operated without any water and the recirculating pump was incorrectly connected.

Avoid AMA Air and if your warranty company sends them to your home, I suggest refusing to allow them in your home. I have cancelled Old Republic since this is the type of contractor they use.

We had AMA Air come out to inspect our plumbing before a renovation. They were thorough and gave us honest recommendations without trying to upsell. It’s clear they care more about customer satisfaction than making a quick buck

I called in the afternoon because my house wasn't cooling down past 85 degrees on the day, and they sent someone out that evening. The repair man, Stephen, was very professional and fixed the problem promptly and at a fair price. He even called later that evening to make sure that the house was cooling off. I appreciated his honesty about the condition of my unit and his not pushing a new unit replacement when I told him that we were on a tight budget. The house is still nice and cool today. I highly recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs.

AMA Air Plumbing and Heating is my first call for any home maintenance. They recently fixed a heating issue just before a big storm hit. Super fast response, very knowledgeable, and no hidden costs. Highly appreciated

This company was recommended by my home warranty when my AC went out. The gentleman came out earlier than expected which was nice since the AC has been out for 2 days. Sadly though he said that he could not reach the area, so he told that my home warranty company to get a second opinion. There was no effort on the part of the technician to fix the problem come up with a creative solution or really try to get to the area where the repair was needed. Granted the repair area was small to get into and the technician could not fit but I look at as if he could not fit how could another technician fit ???? Obviously another technician will have to come up with another solution. I mainly just disappointed that the technician did not even try to problem solve and had looked at it and gave up.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! They were sent out to me through home warranty via the landlord's having it (I am renting a condo here in vegas). The first week the tech comes out to confirm the leak if my bathroom was from the condo directly above me- he stated they would be reaching out to them & he'd be back same day. A WEEK goes by- same tech comes back out and cuts a huge whole into my ceiling in my bathroom AND THEN tells me they never contacted upstairs tenants. He proceeded to reach out to them (walked upstairs AFTER cutting giant hole in my ceiling) -- they never came back out after making contact with the upstairs tenants. I filed the maintenance request on 10/16-17 ish. Its now 11/3/23 and my ceiling still looks like this because I am waiting for literally anyone to respond to me.

Kyle came out and did a great job! Zero complaints and would 1000% recommend Kyle and Ideal Services.

Would give 0 stars if possible, person that came out to estimate the job said we couldn't replace a valve due to it being welded on. Came to find out none of that was true. So instead of a 500$ bill we got 1500$ and a giant hole in the wall we had to close up. Took the complaint to them and was basically told tough you got good work done just be happy and then end. Will never use them again. Picture added, look at it and realize we only needed a valve replaced.

I had a problem with my AC and called Ideal Services. They gave me a great price I couldn’t pass up and got it fixed fast with no issues. Everyone was super friendly and respectful while in my home. Definitely call Ideal Services when you need help!

Both the Tecs Ian and Josh were amazing, life savers. Ended up being a city problem that was causing all the sewer to back up on my property. They quickly identified the problem and got it fixed. Can not recommend them enough. A+ guys.
