I'm renting and my owner has the A/C covered under a home warranty service plan. The first service tech diagnosed the problem with the A/C as compressor failure. After that point, chaos ensued. The company kept sending back techs to verify model; to test for other problems; etc. The owner also has a property management company who usually initiates these repairs. The whole repair became a circus, and I sat in Las Vegas heat (103-108) for 12 days with no A/C (except a small room A/C the owner loaned). Yesterday, a wonderful man and company entered the fray: Shaun with Silver Hill. The owner and property management company must have obtained an order for his service through the home warranty company. Shaun was already aware of the problem and had a compressor which would service the unit. He came with his assistant to check the unit and verify the information (I suppose) he had been given. I received a call a few hours later that he could come and replace the compressor. This was late afternoon. His assistant and he worked until nearly 9 p.m. to replace the compressor; install the coolant; and replace a relay switch for the fan when it didn't turn on. Blessedly...Shaun left with the A/C flowing cold air, and I got my first night of restful sleep in many nights. Today, the A/C is running perfectly and I sit in a cool house. If you want a company who knows their business and who can actually repair units, you'll want to call Silver Hill!

Excellent service at very reasonable prices. One of my AC units failed, and unlike other companies, that inflate their unit prices, and sell them to you with financing at “0% APR” Shawn quoted me the lowest unit price, and was available for follow-ups whenever I called.

Today was such a relief thanks to Silver Hill Heating & Air Conditioning! I had an amazing experience with them and just had to share it on Google. Shaun, their service manager, truly saved the day. When our AC decided to call it quits during this scorching heat, Shaun was our hero. He arrived right on time, figured out the issue quickly, and explained everything in plain language (no confusing tech talk, thank goodness!).

He and his team did everything possible to revive our old compressor, but sadly, it was past its prime after 20 years of service. The Silver Hill crew were very professional, using drop cloths to protect our floor in the working area.
