Had a tech come out to fix leaking AC that caused damage. Was charged money and nothing got fixed. Was told they would be back the following day with the parts needed for the job. They did a no call no show. I had to reach out to them after the appointed time to find out where my tech was. I was told the parts would not be in till days later. They didn't even have the courtesy to call and inform me that no one was coming or that they were waiting on parts. Taking our business elsewhere and waiting for a refund.

After having an unpleasant experience with another company, we were assigned Tech Cool Plumbing and AC through our home warranty. They came quickly, diagnosed the issue and most importantly were honest about what needed to be repaired. Another company was charging us almost $800 more than Tech Cool. Thanks to them we are ready for the summer.

The good news, they resolved my problem. However, I was completely overcharged.

I had a leak. I was told I was leaking about 130 gallons per hour. I called a few local plumbers. Both quoted me 6700 and 6900 for a job that included removing and resetting pavers, but both told me they could not remove nor reset the pavers. I called up a paver business that quoted me 3000 dollars to pull and reset the pavers across a driveway that was about 70 to 80 feet across. Techcool quoted me 9800, but that included removing and resetting the pavers. The reason Techcool was the business I went with because they could start the next day, Thursday, and be done by Saturday. Whereas the other 2 plumbing businesses and the pavers said Monday would be the earliest.
I was told they would start first thing Thursday. First thing Thursday turned into Thursday at 1pm. By 330pm a hole had been dug about 4 foot deep and maybe 6 feet by 4 feet across. The reason digging this hole was so easy is because the ground was soft because of the leak. The main line was completely exposed by 4pm. So now it was a matter of getting the necessary parts to repair the main pipe. Unfortunately, it was too late.
Next morning, Friday, the main line had been repaired by 830. This is all great news.
Worst case scenario I was told they would have to remove about 70 to 80 feet of pavers, 4 foot wide trench, and place a replacement line to the house, make a hole to the side of the house and have plumbing running to the house.
So the pavers did not have to be pulled for 80 feet, 4 foot wide trench and dig to bury this line.
So instead of working Thursday Friday and Saturday, they worked less than a day. Repaired the pipe. Great job. But the final bill was 8000 dollars. Both other companies quoted under 7000 WITHOUT any pavers moved. The pavers would be separate. So they then agree to 7000. However, the thing that bothered me is he said he could've just done all the work to collect the 9800 even if the repair was much simpler.
That's like going to a mechanic thinking the transmission isn't working and needs to be replaced, getting quoted 4000 for a transmission and realizing it's a battery and electrical issue that only costs 1000 dollars, but charging you 3000 because the original quote was 4000 and then lowering the price to 2000.
At best the job should've been about 6000 dollars.
They did the job. It's fixed. That's what I paid for. I have no problem with people making a living. But 8000 dollars from 9800 and then lowering it to 7000 was enough for me to never call them again. It's predatory in my book.
That means for working a total of maybe 8 hours they charged over 800 dollars an hour for labor.

Holy smokes where do I begin? Well it all started with a cold shower at 5:30 am. Water heater went out and I wasn't able to restart the pilot light. I called and they were ready to have a tech at my house within and hour. Due to work schedule they pushed it back and showed up at the BEGINNING of the estimated arrival time. Carlos diagnosed the issue immediately. If he had a 50 gallon tank on hand it would have been replaced that same day. He was back first thing the next morning, repaired it and was done within less than an hour and 45 minutes.
Can not recommend this place more. Super responsive, professional, and timely.

Our hot water heater would no longer ignite. I called Techcool at 9:30 am, and at 11:30 the technician was at our door. By 1:30 pm, we had a new water heater installed. Zach, the technician, was professionnel, courteous and very patient in explaining the work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend this company and Zach!

My ac went out, so I called them first thing in the morning. It only took 2hrs for the tech to show up, diagnose and get my ac back up and running! They also sent text updates, as well as a photo of the vehicle and tech that were dispatched, which was nice! 10/10 will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Juan Carlos was great. Very knowledgeable and helpful beyond any expectation. Very timely and responsive too. We had a really unique water heater and Juan Carlos went above and beyond to make sure it was replaced with the proper model and parts to meet code. He took a lot of time he didn't have to to ensure things were done correctly and the proper parts were used. Took multiple trips due to supplier issues but Juan Carlos made a difficult situation a lot easier to handle. Thank you.

My air went out , leaving me stranded with my two small children(one being an infant) and they arrived, they arrived so fast and the tech, Carlos was so helpful in answering all my questions. They were able to locate and repair my issue within a few hours. Carlos remained to make sure everything was running smoothly and even called to check back in the next day. I would absolutely recommend them if you need any hvac service, hands down one of the best choices I have ever made!

Everything they did they did well. I need a new AC Heat pump for my office building. I sent them the information and within 10 minutes I had an estimate. I am really excited to have found this company. I called later in the afternoon (because the it’s always when your AC is going to die. Spoke with Hector who is the owner and he had me scheduled the next morning. Zach showed up on time and was ready to help. Got my problem solved at what I felt was a fair cost. Will be using them again!

Have had HVAC System replaced few years back. Hot water heater replaced last year and now a leak coming from an irrigation line that was above ground but not being used and they came out and replace a hose bib and capped off the irrigation line valve... TECHCOOL is always my go to company
