To start off; 1. Actually answered phone when I called. 2 Was able to give me a ballpark quote without having to call me back. 3. Showed up on time <In fact a little early, a good thing> 4. Needed an extra part, no problem. 5. Very nice and professional . Would recommend him to friends. :)

I've used Big Bear Plumbing for all my plumbing needs for a few years now and I've always been very pleased with their excellent work, customer service, and professionalism. They've helped this DIYer through a full bathroom remodel and kitchen remodel. They're great!

Called to set up a quote for a drip system repair and take a look at a broken handle on our irrigation valve. Eric called me back immediately, but was super rude on the phone. He quoted me $1499-1600 without taking a look at my system or coming to the house. When I asked if he did estimates after looking at the system he said “that’s what this is—if it’s broken, it’s broken.” He got agitated when I questioned him and was super condescending.

Update: That’s not what I asked and it’s very clear you were not listening. I asked if you did estimates as I was unsure if the problem was as extensive as you seemed to immediately judge. You refused to listen to anything else I said and insisted you knew exactly what to do without ever looking at the problem. Quite frankly it seems like you have all the time to argue with clients rather than listen and provide kind service.

I'm so happy with the new water heater Eric installed. He is a pleasure to work with, is very professional and provides excellent customer service. I will definitely be calling him for any future plumbing needs.

Eric has been out for me 3 times for everything from finding a leak that had caused some water damage to replacing all of the drainage pipes in my basement. Each time he has been on time, respectful and efficient in addition to fixing the problem. He's great to work with!

Called and spoke to Eric regarding a water leak. He came, turned on the water, it spayed immediately, he turned if off immediately.
He then informed me it would be necessary to dig up the meter box as well as a trench up to a portion of my driveway. He explained that the leak was past the meter and it would be my responsibility. He charged me $225.00.
I then called TMWA. THE LEAK WAS IMSIDE THE METER BOX AND IT WAS REPAIRED AT NO COST TO ME.
It seems reasonable to me the diagnosis was faulty. When I discussed this Eric, he insisted the leak was beyond the meter. I received no refund.

I was awakened at 5 a.m. with the sound of water running outside the house. I determined it was coming from the sprinklers. To my surprise, the main sprinkler line had ruptured and water was running through the yard down the street. I started making calls at 8 a.m. to several landscaping companies. I received no call back or I received an excuse that they wouldn’t be able to even look at my issue for at least a month. I called Eric and left a message. I received a call back within 15 minutes! Eric came out to my house and had the repair finished buy 10 a.m. that morning!!! Thank You, Eric! We will be calling Eric for all our plumbing needs in the future. You Rock!! EC

I am new to Reno and to using irrigation systems. I called and Eric was able to come out the same day to help me get my system out of it's winterized dormancy. He checked out each segment and made a couple of repairs and carefully explained all he was doing so I could do the same next year. I strongly recommend Big Bear Plumbing for their careful work and explaining of what he was doing.

Charged $325 to snake a toilet and sink (30-45 minutes of work). Toilet failed the next day and we were told we needed a new toilet. He refused to come out and look at it or fix it and likely fixed the toilet knowing it was a bandaid solution. Do not use

Eric arrived when he said that he would, and installed 2 new toilets for us in a recently purchased home. He found that the existing toilets had been incorrectly installed. This caused some of the top of the flooring in one of the bathrooms to pull up with the toilet. He explained all this to us and asked us if he should proceed before actually taking out the toilet. We appreciated his honesty. Also, this made the job a bit more challenging and time consuming for him, but he didn't try to increase the previously quoted price. I am sure that some companies would have done that.
We will always trust the Big Bear Plumbing with our plumbing needs in the future !

Gave me a great price up front. And then we ran into a problem and he stayed until 9pm to try to fix. Came back the next morning and pushed his morning client til the afternoon. Got my water up and running before the weekend. Highly recommend!

My wife and I hired Eric on two occasions, and both time he did an outstanding job. There first time he installed a hot water heater in the garage in 90 degree heat in the summer. Second time he helped us diagnose a dishwasher that wasn't draining. I highly recommend Eric!

Eric has been the hero on my kitchen remodel, saving the day multiple times and being ready and available to help in my less than ideal plumbing situation and water emergency. He is honest and will get the job done, then go above and beyond and show up when other plumbers would say I don't have time for that. So thankful for his work!

Eric came out to help us reroute some pipes in the bathroom and install the shower and tub. He did an excellent job! He was good at communicating with us throughout the entire process, offered insightful solutions and got things done in a timely manner. We would definitely hire him again.

Eric is my go to plumber. Eric installed a multiple sump system in my basement and it works flawlessly. He also just repaired a faucet and again a first class job. I have been a owner builder and done remodels also. Eric is a master plumber who also is honest and a joy to work with. Eric at Big Bear Plumbing is a true professional. He provides quality service, is extremely qualified (former commercial plumber, bonded, and formally trained plumber), and a very nice guy! He showed up on time and did a very high quality job repairing my sprinkler system, which appeared to be all kinds of messed up from a previous "repair". When he finished it had no leaks, was water tight, and proper water pressure returned.
