After being given the run-around by several plumbers, I finally connected with 1-Tom-Plumber. The office staff was friendly, (I believe her name was Robyn) and she was able to get me an appointment the next day. Jason was awesome! He was on time and was very personable. He replaced my water heater quicker than I expected and had a great attitude while working. I hope all of their staff is as good as Jason. I will definitely be calling them for future jobs and requesting Jason.

They told me that they were going to change me for a service call and all I got was an over priced estimate! $79 for an estimate that took them 20 minutes to do. It’s a scam and I got ripped off! Hopefully everyone I. The Reno Tahoe area will see this and not get taken for $79 to get an over priced estimate. It was $9700 for a tankless and $3250 for a 50 gal water heater that was in a spot in my garage that they could have driven there truck right next to it. Also I just found out that all my 9 year old water heater needed was a $50 part and $150 worth of labor!

Aaron came out and provided excellent service, very pleased with how knowledgeable and kind he was.
He’s a towering 7’ tall so i have no idea how he was able to get into my crawl space but he managed. Excellent service would recommend to anyone!

Drew and Lucas came on an urgent request to unclog my garbage disposal. They were very nice and polite and knew exactly what to do. They cleared out the issue, tightened some connections and then triple checked that everything was working properly. I highly recommend 1-Tom-Plumber.

These guys were quick to arrive to our emergency and did a thorough job after hours to get our house up and running again. The guys were also courteous and ensured our house was properly protected so no mess was made. We SO appreciate them coming to the rescue!

Last month we had a major drain issue in our recently purchased condo. Had a different plumbing company come in... after two days they couldn't get it cleared and left an absolute mess in the bathroom for me to clean. Called 1-Tom Plumber, and going forward, they will be my first and only call for any plumbing needs! Matt arrived on time and did an excellent job resolving our issue. Glad your company has the ability to do hydro-jetting when needed. It wasn't a quick and easy fix, but he did an excellent job and cleaned up afterwards. Matt D came out and fixed our blocked up drains. Water was backing up all over the house and he figured it out quickly and had it fixed and didn’t over charge us. We’ve had this done by other companies before and these guys are the best. Matt was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Solid work! Highly recommended.

Drew from 1-Tom-Plumber, gave me a figure of the cost to remove my old hot water heater, and install my new one. It was a very reasonable price. The job wasn't easy due to the old heater's plumbing. He did an excellent job in a short time. My old heater was hauled away along with cardboard etc. My garage was left spotless. THANK YOU, Charles C.

Aaron came out and saved the day, it was 2am the dogs were howling and it was very cold and the in laws were in town straight up grinding my gears. But Aaron was still able to get my water shut off and pipes fixed before the situation got any worse. He was very professional, knowledgeable and my dogs loved him. Couldn't recommend this company enough!

Jason & Eric showed up on time and were amazing! They were very nice and answered our questions when we had them. Heard what sounded like a leak in the walls at midnight. Tried to turn off the water to the house, but wasn't able to. So I called 1-Tom-Plumber.

Matt came out in the middle of the night, turned off my water, and promised to come back as soon as he could the next day to fix the issue.

He came back the next morning, was quick, professional, and knowledgeable. The issue was resolved, and there were no extra charges or fees tacked on.

I highly recommend 1-Tom-Plumber for any plumbing issues in the Reno area.

This team has been so wonderful to work with. Especially Aaron, Lucas, and Mary. They have all been so helpful in remedying some old plumbing issues on my older home to make it more modern! I’m very grateful for all of their hard work and professionalism.

Aaron was awesome! Came out and fixed the issue quick, just had my grandma over for what seemed like 20 min and she accidentally flushed her wig down the toilet and got my pipes all backed up. However, Aaron was able to retrieve it and save the day! Thank you, Aaron.

1 Tom Plumber in Reno is our “go to” for plumbing at our mother’s house in Reno. Staff is professional, responsive and provides stellar customer service and work. They quickly diagnosed a leak in a failed galvanized supply line, replaced the valve feeding that line, and recently were back to install a new copper supply line for the front and back irrigation systems in time for growing season.

This company is fantastic. From the time I booked a call the guy who answered was very professional and booked me right away. When Aaron came to my house for my toilet constantly running, he also asked if he would like me to look at my other plumbing just to make sure everything was working properly. I agreed to have him do this. With his assessment he told me the only issue I had was with the toilet I had him come out for. This showed me how honest this company is, how they go the extra mile and now my toilet is working properly at a very reasonable price. 1 Tom Plumber will now be my go to plumber. Matt installed our new water heater today, and he was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and reliable. He clearly knew what he was doing, worked quickly without cutting corners, and followed through exactly as promised. The job was done right the first time, and everything since has been working perfectly. I would absolutely recommend Matt to anyone looking for dependable, professional service.

Five Stars. Aaron fixed the leak. Filed the report for the remediation company to work with insurance and was super friendly and efficient. Hopefully will never have to use them again, but would not hesitate to if we had a need. Call them if you need work done. It was even next day. Crazy Good!

Excellent service! Matt is amazing. He even took a few extra steps to ensure my main line was completely flowing at 100% or better before heading out. Fast, in-person quote with multiple options on how to proceed, which was nice. And it didn't hit the wallet as hard as the other company's I've used before, for the same issue. My family appreciates that. You guys have definitely made a returning customer.

Appreciate the communication prior to showing up. The plumber was able to look at a few other small things I had questions about. Work and communication was solid. But I did not get any invoices/receipts of any of the work done and had to call to get it after. Prices seem pretty steep too. 300$ for an angle stop install. Nothing is cheap i guess. Happy with how quick they were able to get out and to have hot water again.
