Jacob sprayed my yard today. Very polite young man. Walked around the property with me. I believe he did a thorough job. Came to the house when finished and told me he dumped an animal water trough that got a bit of spray and advised me to rinse it good. I definitely appreciated that!!! Also talked about an over-the-counter product I can use in amongst my trees! Thank you!

Jake was referred to us for mold inspection. He did an awesome job - very thorough and noted everything he saw in detail. We were very grateful that he took the time to call and review his findings after, he explained everything in a way that I could easily understand and thoughtfully answered all my questions. I always appreciate the excellent service from Javier my pest control technician. He is consistently professional, kind, and courteous every time he comes to service our home. He takes the time to listen to my concerns, answers all of my questions thoroughly, and makes sure I feel comfortable with the treatment plan. It's clear that he truly cares about providing great customer service and that level of attention and professionalism really stands out! Highly recommend!

Just horrible. Calls back 3 days later and then says will call me back again to get me on the schedule and never does. Don’t waste your time if you’re a new customer. Obviously they don’t offer good service to new customers. Find someone else.

Sprayed 20 minutes and left. 400$. Do not recommend

Grillo is the best. They are experts in lawn care and tree care. Every time I have used them, they have been on time, friendly and professional.

I am very happy with this company. They applied pre-emergent weed control and have mowed and done other stuff for me this past season. The results are great. I wish I would have spared my back the pain of picking weeds last year and used them!! All I have to say is - RESULTS COUNT!

They came out twice and were barely on the property. I dont believe they sprayed enough for preventative weed control which needs to be sprayed on the entire area.

We've had innumerous emergent weeds and I will never use this company again. Im not convinced they are honest about what they spray especially because both times they sprayed I was home and would have seen them in the yard.

Grillo Landscape Solutions has been caring for our lawn and weed control needs for this summer and our property looks great. They have responded to concerns quickly and the people who show up to do the work are very professional and courteous. I have no problem referring business to them at all. If you want a good company you can trust, call them.

Signed up in 2017 for weed control. Somebody came and supposedly sprayed one day while we were gone. They logged a total of 5 minutes on the property spraying 3/4 of an acre! We got home within 5 minutes after they left and saw no visible signs that anything was sprayed. Decided to take their word for it as they had decent reviews, however weeds continued to grow in abundance. Called to tell them the weeds were still growing and they said it usually takes multiple applications and had somebody come out to spray again in a couple of weeks. They did send somebody out a month or two later to do the final pre-winter spray for weeds. In 2018 we paid for a full year of service. Nobody showed up by March, so we started calling.... multiple times were told somebody would call or stop by. Nobody did. Called in April and asked to speak to Dave, the owner. He came out personally on a Saturday and sprayed. While talking to him about our dis-satisfaction, he indicated we had been charged $100 less than he would normally quote for our yard, so being the honest people we are, and since we assumed he would now take care of us, we gave him a check for that $100. When he left he said he would stop by in a couple of weeks and check to make sure we were happy with it. Never called or stopped by. Have not received one call, or any further service since... it is now August, so at a minimum, if they spray quarterly, somebody should have done that treatment!. So we are cancelling and would NOT recommend this company to anybody! WORST SERVICE EVER!

We have been using Grillo for at least 3-4 years now. I have never had a negative experience with them. We initially contacted the because we had an abundance of foxtails, as well as several tree issues. Since we’ve had Grillo, I very rarely see even a single foxtail and our trees no longer have bug or sap issues. Our trees have grown significantly since hiring Grillo, more than 2-3 times the growth rate of the 4 years prior. Our lawns no longer have weeds and are always significantly fuller than when we managed them on our own or even with a different lawn company claiming they could make everything green. One of their long time employees and his wife purchased the business last year. They have been working hard to adjust to changes and improving anything they can. I feel like Grillo is honest, friendly, hard working and the results speak for themselves.

GI called and scheduled an initial meeting. They took our address and set an appointment, Confirmed by email, and called to confirm the appointment the day before. On the day of the appointment at 12:00 pm, I called the office to confirm when they would be out as we had not seen anyone yet. The office put me on hold and called Josh. When they got back on the phone, they told me Josh drove by the house and determined I was too far out to service and when he got back to the office he would call me with a referral. If I had not called in, I would have been waiting all day for a no-show on this appointment that they called me confirmed the night before.
Why did Josh not pull in and tell us in person?
They had our address from the start. Why did they not look at a map and ensure we were in their service area before they made the appointment?
Look, they say they service Minden and Gardnerville and offer Free Estamates, but this information seems not totally correct.
I would not been mad if they said, based on your address, you are outside our service area.
I would not been mad if they had shown up to the appointment, shook my hand and said we are sorry we did not realize you are outside our services area.
It is disrespectful to schedule an appointment a week out and confirm the meeting with me twice and then just not show up. I am sharing this so others can consider whether this is a company they want to do business with. I am thankful they showed their true colors upfront.

We have been using them for 5 years and trusting them with our trees. Two have since died and we had to tell them. Hoping their service will improve so we can re evaluate them.

Well, it got worse. Now ALL our white birchs are DEAD. Do you want to trust them with your landscaping , I don’t. Find someone else

Grillo has been doing the weed control on my property in Washoe Valley for the past several years. I couldn't be happier. They are wonderful. Josh is amazing and very thorough. Rena takes care of scheduling and gets me right in. Someone always calls or texts the day before they are coming out so I can be sure to have the dogs inside. They are professional, kind, and conscientious. I appreciate all they do for me. I highly recommend them.
