We have been long time customers with both delivery and service contract. We have used the service contract for our annual cleaning and several times for furnace breakdown. They are always very responsive to get our unit up and running. Would highly recommend.

The previous owners of the house used them for service purposes and heating oil. I called them because we had no heat. the man gave me a horrible attitude the whole time we talked. Then he asked, "Have you gotten oil since you purchased the house?" I replied yes. He said, "Than call them" and hung up. Horrible service, didn't know we had to buy oil from them to use their service. Proceed with extreme caution. Very bad experience.

It’s amazing mergers affect the company’s quality of customer service and value. Having an oil tank is the biggest regret buying a house and you can only top it off to make it worst is a company like this being inconsiderate in a customers situation. I called to follow up on why I haven’t received oil and of course it’s probably because of payment but I ALWAYS MAKE AT LEAST A $100 to $200 payment a month mind you I’m making a payment every other Friday . But because there’s a balance they refuse to deliver. I have a mortgage , two kids , and wife that I must support of course but the lady JUDY FROM CREDIT all she can say is “times have changed” it sure did when this was Hiltop they were GREAT 5 star service !!! And supposedly sent a LETTER TO MY HOUSE IN REGARDS TO PAYMENT in which is a lie because I see nothing. But now the ignorance is on another level !!! Stay away look for someone else ... just as I will be doing !! Thank Goodness the winter is over because wouldn’t be smart to continue with this company. And trust me I am the last person that would be writing a REVIEW , I don’t have time !! I have to put in overtime with companies such as this one. Great job Judy

I have no vested interest in this company but you would be foolish not to call them to compare them with your present supplier. I worked with a woman named Julie who was a total professional, courteous & knowledgeable. Can't ask for anything more.

Joined NJ Oil Coalition after having been a customer of Hilltop's for more than 4 years. Got a price break from Coalition but they didn't include Hilltop as provider so called Hilltop and asked them to match price. Refused and said I was being "taken advantage of" by the Coalition. Cancelled my service on the phone in Nov, 2014 and they still tried to deliver oil to my house a week later. Tank was already full and only needed 30 gallons so obviously they were trying to get one last oil delivery in to make as much money off me as possible.

Refused to pay and told driver I had cancelled delivery via phone a week before. They then kept hounding me for payment until I received court summons in the mail from them - all for $100 bill.

Unprofessional and now understand why everyone I talk to in my area refuse to use them. STAY AWAY. Mitchell Supreme honors Coalition pricing and does auto delivery and serivce contracts just like Hilltop all for less money.

We recently had our furnace die and wanted to replace it with an HVAC unit. I called around to a few companies to get an idea of what it would cost. John from Hilltop came out the same day for an estimate, and I was impressed by his professionalism and helpfulness. He and his team did a great job installing our new unit just a few days later. I will happily call Hilltop anytime I need hearing or cooling help!

Let me just start by saying that I have never written a review. I have used Hilltop twice when I was in an emergency situation and the are by far one of the best service companies I have ever dealt with. They came when I needed them, the service men were extremely professional , honed in on the problem and corrected it efficiently.

Recently signed up for oil auto-delivery and the boiler service plan. The staff has been pleasant and easy to work with. Joey came to do the boiler cleaning/tuneup and did a good thorough job. He gave helpful tips and was happy to answer the questions I had. Hilltop seems like a good company focused on customer service.
