Joe was very professional and also very nice. He fixed my air conditioner, although he had to return to my house after the first attempt. After I called to say that the air conditioner was still not functioning he returned within 25 minutes and found the problem.

The Alber team removed the old attic insulation, and sealed all seams and gaps, then installed vents in the bays and blew in new cellulose insulation. They also sealed all joints and gaps then insulated the exposed ducts in the basement and garage. John explained every step to me and he and his team were very thorough and professional. I am very happy with the results and feel this was money well-spent.

Brian was great and the service is always top shelf. I have the twice a year check up and central humidifier cleaning service which is well worth it. Any repairs are done at the same time at no or low cost and priority is given when service is needed that is not connected to the routine 2 visits. We had it once and during a peak winter cold they came out very quickly although they were backed up. This was a routine 1 of 2 visits.

He immediately assessed and addressed the connection problem between the thermostat and furnace so we are now warming back up.

The technicians are all knowledgeable, friendly, clean and educate the owner as to the best way to get longevity and reduce costs associated with energy use. I recommend them very highly.

We had a great experience working with Alber and are very happy with the results. From the beginning, James stood out during the sales process. He took detailed photos of our home, walked us through a thoughtful, customized plan, and maintained strong communication throughout — something we didn’t experience with other providers. We ultimately chose Alber not just because of the positive sales experience, but because they offered higher-quality R-60 insulation and could build a catwalk, which was very important to us for safe, long-term attic access.

When installation day came, Chris and his team were professional, punctual, and incredibly hardworking. They arrived on time, worked diligently, and patiently answered all of my questions, which gave us a lot of confidence in the quality of the work being done.

This was a year-plus journey for us. Our original quote was around $15K, but after refining the scope of work and taking advantage of increased PSEG rebates, we were able to bring the final investment down to about $7.5K — and it feels well worth it. Overall, we felt supported throughout the entire process and are glad we chose Alber.

P.S. The only reason for 4 star and not a 5 star was that I felt like I had to be on top of the team to make sure all items were completed and completed properly. In the end it was and that's all I care about. And truthfully, you always have to be on top of contractors, electricians, and the likes anyways!

The service technician was aware of wearing a mask, booties and gloves and worked efficiently and cleanly. In other words, great job!

Technician was on time. Very polite and professional. Explained everything and was very knowledgeable. We were very satisfied.

Repair guy comes out and doesn't even check ac or heating unit didn't even turn on unit and said coolent has leak but never check hooked anything up or turn on ac/ heating unit

If it wasn’t for the cost of oil you would be 5 stars. I know the market dictates that but how about a discount for long time customers. I’m a 44 yr customer

This is my first home, and first experience with having an oil furnace. Honestly, I will change to electric in the foreseeable future. As for now, I haven't had issues with service.
