They did my initial install which had been a nightmare from the beginning to get customer support and still is! I recently needed them to remove and reinstall my solar panels after a roof repair, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The quote explicitly included cleaning and testing the panels as part of the service package for an up charge of over 4k for the whole job. But when the team showed up, they skipped the cleaning entirely (panels were still covered in dirt and bird droppings), and didn’t bother with any testing. When I pointed it out, they claimed it wasn’t included which resulted in a panel not producing.

Update 28 OCT 2025 - management recognized the discrepancy in the reinstall with a crew that has had others install issues (hopefully being released), and they made it right!!

The company we chose for our solar solution went bankrupt leaving us in the dark, (So to speak) on our very important, very expensive utility alternative investment. Our system stopped producing power and we had no one to call and come service solution under the warranty promised. Somehow, Jennifer Atkinson with Solar Works Energy swoops in to save our day so unexpectedly. I made a lot of calls and gave up when she called. We spoke on the phone for a while about the system, and it was determined a service call was necessary and she explained everything that would happen and fees that we would see so not to be surprised. Then she worked with us to schedule our service call for when a technician would be in our area to help with the travel costs to our remote area.

The service Jennifer and her team provided was top notch professionalism, communication, and compassion for our needs and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I would recommend this group to anyone looking for help with their system and only wish we had made our purchase with them.

We had an awesome experience. Carlos spent a long time with us talking through the design options and helping us scope the perfect system for our needs. The permitting process was a little rough, but this was my third project and I knew it would be. Solar Works got it done with almost no effort on my part. Installation is still underway, but going smooth. The electrical and panel crews are all really nice and happy to answer any questions we had about the work they were doing. Overall very happy with this company.

I bought a house with an already installed solar system, so I needed to find a new company to do repairs since I couldn’t rely on the original one.
Jennifer helped me gain access to the app where I could monitor my system, (And access the warranty if necessary) and she sent out one of their technicians, Daionis, who was highly skilled and explained to me what was happening with my system and repaired it very quickly.

My sytem stopped recording production. I called in when i received an email from PNM. Theimmediately scheduled someone to come out and check the system. The next day I received a call from Jennifer to make sure the system was working again and sent me a link to the app so I can monitor the system in the future. After being in a tough spot where my inverter went out and the solar company that installed our system moved out of state. The old company said they can be out a month later after being down for 2 months. I was able to call solar works and they got my system up and running within a week of being down.
