Gimesum heating and cooling is great to work with. Recently had to replace an old swamp cooler with a new Mastercool unit. Phil was great to work with, very knowledgeable. Installation was quick and the new unit is far more efficient. Very professional, fair prices, highly recommend!

We had a problem with our swamp cooler and needed mini splits installed in our casita. Gimesum came out quickly to the house and fixed our swamp cooler in no time and then gave us a very competitive estimate for the mini splits. We decided to use them and I cannot tell you how professional, courteous, clean and efficient Phil was. He dealt with a tricky installation, really hot temperatures and state inspectors to make sure we got a quality system, from start to finish. Phil also knows a lot of local tradespeople and is always willing to help where and when he can. He is a quality guy and Gimesum is a quality business.

Came same day on short notice to service our swamp cooler that stopped working overnight. Quick to the point service and fairly priced, appreciate the work!!

We contacted Phillip Sanchez in April to replace our heating and cooling at one of our rental properties,
gave him $$ half down. We waited for months till he began the job, he told us the job was almost completed
in September and we paid the remaining balance. Only to find out he just started the job.
We had to provide our tenant with a cooling unit for summer months. He did not finish till October.
The main complaint is the unprofessional communication, not returning our phone calls and telling us he would provide the invoices of sevice, a warranty/ paperwork, and rebates. To this date we still haven't received any of the necessary paperwork.
Job was not completed till October and we hired him in April.
This is a serious infraction of a professional contractors conduct.

I’ve dealt with my fair share of contractors in Albuquerque and had some really bad experiences, especially with HVAC guys. They’ve either been criminally incompetent, extremely unresponsive and unreliable, or wildly overpriced. Phillip was referred to me by a friend because I was at the end of my rope trying to sift through a bevy of unreliable HVAC companies. I was immediately impressed with his responsiveness, punctuality, and communication. He recommended a simple fix for my issues that was ultimately effective. He wasn’t inexpensive, but a far cry from some of the larger companies in town that were quoting me outrageous prices. The price was very reasonable considering his professionalism and results. It’s hard to find pros like him in this town, so I happily recommend him to anyone.

Philip Sanchez recently converted my house from swamp cooler to refrigerated air and he did an amazing job. I can’t get over how perfect and clean he made it look. Better than any other houses I have seen with refrigerated air. Gimesum is a great business and would recommend to anybody and everybody. My refrigerated air unit stopped working and Philip was able to come the same day. He diagnosed and fixed it right away. The other companies I called hadn't even returned my call yet to schedule someone to look at it. I'm very impressed with the customer service and highly recommend!

Not only did he answer all questions to make us feel comfortable about the big project but also explained what he did and why he did it. Very professional and the job looks so clean. Gimesum was responsive even off business hours and was able to get me on the schedule pretty quickly. They came to install a new water heater. Philip was professional, efficient, patient and very respectful. Very happy with the service and will certainly use again.

We hired Philip to install refrigerated air at our house. He gave us a great price and did additional items at no extra charge when unknown issues came up due to the age of the house. He was always a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anyone looking for AC work.

We’ve been looking for someone we can trust and rely on to help us with whole house mini split maintenance and repair . . . I think we’ve found that company in Gimesum Heating and Cooling! Philip was so helpful and kind when we called, out of the blue, because our whole unit went out and it was 95deg. He took the time, on the phone, and helped us troubleshoot the problem to get us up and running again. We are scheduling a full service maintenance as soon as possible.

Extremely impressed but the customer service, knowledge and professionalism brought to the table by Philip!! I needed some emergency HVAC work done and he was the perfect person to call. He was also able to help walk me through a repair on another job. I’ve already referred Gimesome Heating and Cooling to several friends and coworkers!!

Gimesome stole 4K of my money and refuses to return it for months so far! I paid full price the moment a price was given. We tried to schedule the water heater installment several times. They promised next day - so many times and never showed up. I took off work many days over 6 month period waiting all day for installer who never came - so many times. Eventually, I asked for a refund which is so far been refused. It’s a simple cashapp refund that could take moments. They have cost me thousands of dollars due to slowness. I informed that we will file in court - still no refund. All we want is our money back, but Philip refuses to return it.
I wish I could give 0 star review for this disgraceful treatment. He knows we are struggling small business due to the Ruidoso national disaster. I told him that it was an emergency now. He still refuses to refund our money.

We had Philip replace an old split system at our school. Philip was extremely prompt and worked around the school's schedule to get cooling back on extremely fast. I was very impressed with his craftsmanship. His brazes were beautiful, the equipment was installed plumb, level, and square, and he paid attention to details like pipe insulation and wiring routing. His pricing is extremely fair, and the equipment is high quality. I definitely recommend Philip, and we will definitely continue to use him for our school and church HVAC needs.

Phillip did a wonderful job in replacing our older evaporative cooler with a new type of effect cooler. The most amazing part about this is the service we got from Phillip. He is very professional, quick service, and such a really nice guy. He has been doing this for 22 years and is very reliable. My brother also used his services in the past and is extremely satisfied. I can’t say enough about how fantastic our experience was with Gimesum Heating and Cooling. Philip was referred to us by a friend and neighbor when we were essentially looking for emergency help. Our AC unit went out in the middle of July with 90 degree plus weather and family visitors due to arrive in 2 days. He called us back right away, helped diagnose the issue, order parts from out of town overnight that very same day, then even came to help us after hours to complete the repair the very next day. He is really an amazing kind and generous person. The repair was quick and he is such a thoughtful and skilled professional, not something you ever see any more these days. We can’t thank him enough. We had called Thompsons and TLC also and both of those companies wouldn’t even send a repair person over for a diagnostic visit for a WEEK, let alone get parts ordered and the repair completed. We would have in really big trouble had we not been referred to and helped by Philip and Gimesum. So if you are considering using Gimesum, you couldn’t possibly hope for a better company and expert like Philip to help you. Our HUGE thanks again Philip! You are the best!

Gimesum Heating and Cooling came through for me once again. He answered my call right away and was at my place within the hour. Even though he didn’t install the system (and I’ve had ongoing issues with it), he had no problem diagnosing and fixing the problem quickly. This isn’t the first time he’s saved the day he’s reliable, responsive, and really knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend!

Phillip always replies with a great attitude and has gone above & beyond for several members of my family that live anywhere from the top of South 14 to any part of the city, me being in Midtown my mom being in Far Northeast Heights and kids place in the mountains.installing water heaters,servicing an old furnace and programming new Google nest thermostat change over. He’s the type of person I do not hesitate to have go into my mom or any member of my family‘s house and conduct business with respect and consideration. He lends his expertise in many ways, to include clear concise instruction in the midst of my HVOC switchover. He has more than fair rates and I recommend him frequently to my friends and family he’s the one I go to with all my heating and cooling needs from now on and I refer to him as my “Heating and cooling guy” when anybody brings up problems they’re having with their heating and cooling or equipment they need servicing or to purchase, I tell them “I got a guy” and then proceed to recommend Phillip and GIMESUM HVAC.
