Keefer came out and spruced up my old boiler system. I didn't find him expensive compared to other work I've had done, and his work was a higher caliber. Talking to him, he's definitely an expert with boiler systems and he pointed out issues and thing he would do differently
with the original install and previous service work letting me know that he cares to deliver a top of the line service. In the future when my old system needs work again, or just replaced, I'll be calling him.

10 months after last review: My wife and I are in the process of selling our house and had an inspector come by and talk nonsense about our boiler system which caused the buyers to request an inspection and service by a professional. Of course I contact Keefer and he gets out within a week. He looks over the system, writes up the report saying the system is in perfect working order while making it clear the inspector didn't know what he was talking about. I wish every contractor could be like Keefer and wish he was located where we are moving to. There's a reason he has nothing but 5* reviews.

I am a person who relies on reading reviews prior to going to a certain business or purchasing an item. When my air conditioner went out a couple of weeks ago I was in a panic to find an affordable, trustworthy company that prides themselves in great quality work. After doing some research and reading some reviews Outlaw Mechanical stood out to me as the company that held all the qualities that I was looking for. They were very professional, well educated and answered all the questions I had. There were no hidden fees and I paid what was quoted to me. They saved me from melting this summer I would use this company again and highly recommend it to anyone who needs any type of mechanical work. Thanks guys!!

Called them for a boiler replacement. They were honest, knowledgable and very respectful. They were never pushy and left the decision in my hands. I was nervous with a name like Outlaw, but they're outlaws because they are so different from the other companies in town! My boiler came out beautifully, I am saving hundreds on propane and am thrilled I gave them a try. Keefer and his team really know their stuff!

Keefer installed my new heater and air conditioning system. His work is absolutely flawless, looks great and he took the time to thoroughly explain to me how the system worked, the maintenance requirements, and happily answered all of my questions. Additionally, I had to be out of the house for work during the install and I completely trusted him to install the unit as we discussed. I was even able to leave a key for his entry and he ensured my house was secure upon his departure. He thoroughly cleaned his work areas and left my house in great shape, and now with a new furnace and AC! I can't recommend Keefer and Outlaw Mechanical enough!!

The boiler died on the coldest night we have had so far this year. I called a large company in Albuquerque to come out and have a look. I decided we needed a second opinion and fortunately found Outlaw Mechanical. Keefer came out, got the boiler running but suggested we replace it due to the age and cost of repair. We decided to replace the hot water heater as well. Keefer did a fantastic job! As soon as the units arrived he got to work and both boiler and water heater were installed in two days! Keefer took the time to explain the new boiler to me. He cleaned up every day before he left. I am very happy with all of the work he did. Highly recommended! A pleasure to do business with Outlaw Mechanical!

UPDATE-We had a situation where we needed a boiler inspection done quickly because we are in escrow on our first home and the inspector found some issues with the boiler. Outlaw Mechanical worked within our VERY tight timeline, diagnosed the problems quickly, and made sure we understood what was going on. We felt SO cared for and valued during this process. Thanks for doing such great work!

I’m a property manager at a ranch in NM. I had nothing but problems with the boilers before Outlaw Mechanical started working at the ranch.
I was always asking around and looking for a good recommendation and that was how I found Outlaw Mechanical. I am in the process of building a detached 36'x40' garage/shop using a well known post frame (pole) barn company's product, and wanted to have in-floor radiant heating. I tried working with a few other local mechanical/plumbing company's, but they all would not listen to what I wanted done -- help me get the radiant tubing installed for the concrete pour, and do so in accordance with BernCo code requirements.

Keefer listened to me, worked with me on the tubing and installation required to meet the approved design and county code, and offered great advice and feedback to make it all come together beautifully--see attached photos. He did it on time for the project, always courteous and coordinated with me before coming over (didn't just show up whenever he felt like it, unlike another local company), showed up on time, did fantastic work efficiently and quickly (he did in one day, by himself, what another local company said would take 3-4 people 2 days) and to code-everything passed on first inspection, and did all of this for a very reasonable price.

I will continue to seek out Keefer and Outlaw Mechanical's advice and help for all my HVAC needs, and I highly recommend you do the same!

Outlaw has serviced my boiler 3 times in the past two years. Each time they have provided exceptional customer service, great communication and quick turn around. 10/10

I highly recommend Outlaw Mechanical. Keefer and crew replaced my 20+ year old boiler and we decided to replace our old gas got water heater also. I had a couple other plumbing companies come out so I could explain exactly what I was wanting but neither company really listened to our wants and needs. We now have a high efficiency boiler and a heat pump hot water (electric). Keefer was on constant communication with me, during the whole process. I wouldn't hesitate for a second, recommending Outlaw Mechanical for a new boiler or heat pump hot water heater.

All the 5 stars review are true. The price was much lower than other big companies. The communication was outstanding and quick. The technician was highly knowledgeable and professional. They were able to do the work quickly and made sure my home was warm. I can highly recommend Outlaw Mechanical. They installed a huge boiler system in my home with no fuss and friendly, courteous, honest, workmanship.
