I want to caution others to be a bit wary of HomeRun Plumbing’s pricing. I had Bodie come out to provide a quote for a water heater replacement, and he was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. After taking a few photos, he said he would text me the quote, which came in at $4,300.

I called Bodie to ask some follow up questions and was told that approximately 65% of the quote was attributed to parts, which in this case would be about $2,800. I then looked up the exact water heater model on a plumbing supply website and found it listed for around $1,650. That leaves an additional $1,150 being categorized as “parts,” which seems excessive even accounting for miscellaneous fittings and code related components.

I understand that contractors mark up materials and there are additional parts required to complete an installation properly, but the gap here felt unreasonable. My advice to anyone getting a quote from HomeRun Plumbing is to review it carefully and do some research so you understand exactly what you’re being charged for.

This company is truly the very best I’ve EVER worked with! Bodie returns your calls promptly and gets a technician out quickly! He is friendly and professional! The technicians I have worked with are extremely knowledgeable and very professional and friendly…David is just a joy to be around and he is quick and efficient in his job! We got quotes from a few companies and most immediately tried to upsell us or push a full solution right away. Bodie stood out because his estimate included taking things one step at a time — try the first, sensible fix and only do more if it was actually needed.

When Irin came out to do the work, I was initially surprised it wasn’t Bodie himself, but that disappeared quickly. Irin was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and was genuinely courteous — even giving me a heads-up before turning on loud equipment so he wouldn’t startle me.

The work was clean, professional, and pressure-free. It’s rare to find a company this transparent and honest. I would definitely hire them again.

Called HomeRun after getting the runaround from ABQ heating and plumbing. They gave me a clear quote for services (winter tuneup for furnaces and mini splits). Serviceman arrived on time, was cheerful, polite, capable and knowledgeable. He serviced all units and reassured me that the humming noise in one unit did not require any repair work at this time. I’ll definitely use them for all future work. Price was reasonable and payment was simple.

We feel fortunate to have found HomeRun Plumbing. We’re out of state property owners and had been struggling to find honest and reliable plumbers that serviced the Rio Rancho area. We needed a swamp cooler replacement and worked with Bodie who accommodated our urgent need, he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. His technicians Irin and Saul did a great job in the installation. We are very happy with their work, and will be using them from now on for any plumbing and heating, as well as the seasonal changeovers.

Can't say enough good things about HomeRun Plumbing Heating and Cooling. We had issues arise with our tankless water heater on a Saturday night (of course it's Saturday night). HomeRun got back to me within 15 minutes of calling them and after sharing some pictures assured me that we could wait to complete the work until Monday. We were promptly scheduled for a service call on Monday and it was determined that a new unit was needed. They immediately scheduled us for install the following day and came back promptly and completed the job. They didn't just complete the job, they did so like it was their own house. You can clearly tell they take great pride in their work. David, our technician, clearly works to ensure everything is installed cleanly and correctly. I truly appreciate all of their help and highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Saul was outstanding. He took a very intelligent and methodical approach with our very difficult plumbing issue that saw other top reviewed plumbing services I hired 'phone it in', which I had not been satisfied with. Ultimately he saved us a lot of money by investigating so thoroughly. Honest and will hire again.

From getting the appointment scheduled, work completed, and invoice paid, the whole process could not have been easier. They made sure I have hot water for years to come! Saul is a master at what he does and Bodie is the kind of owner you'd like to work for in the trades. Stop scrolling and just call, you won't be disappointed!

They took on the challenge of re-piping gas to my entire home and the whole time the team of plumbers at HomeRun have been knowledgeable, professional and timely. They are confident in their work and it shows. They have used reliable high grade materials in this re-piping project which gives me peace of mind. I called Homerun Plumbing and Heating based on their rave reviews. It was easy to make an appointment. Saul came almost immediately and quickly fixed a toilet tank flushing problem. The cost was reasonable. What's not to love?! I will definitely call this company first if I need plumbing services again.

I had a leak under the foundation of my house. Homerun was recommended by a friend. The best call I ever made! Bodie, David and Saul were amazing in getting the problem solved, from recommending a great leak detector to fixing the leak and patching up my floor. Very efficient and professional. I would give them 6 stars if I could!!❤️

Not only were they the best priced quote I received for a main water line replacement, their service was excellent. They even kindly coordinated with my roommate for in person visits since I was out of town and were patient with my technical difficulties when making the payment. I can't have been an easy customer through all those complications and they still gave me great service.

David from Homerun Plumbing was a real breath of fresh air. He came as scheduled and quickly determined what our problem was and how to fix it. He's a very nice and skillful guy. The price was good and the job was done right. I would highly recommend both him and Homerun if you have any plumbing problems.

I have been using HomeRun Plumbing Heating and Cooling for over a year now. As an apartment owner it is nice to find a company that is responsive and who I can trust. They have repaired everything from furnaces to roots in drain pipes. Bodie and Saul are very courteous and clearly communicated the problem I was having with my furnace and worked efficiently to repair it.

Home run plumbing and heating is an excellent company they installed my heater and now they today they installed my water heater did it excellent job on both of them kind and courteous and they take care of business and they clean up after love the prices there more reasonable than a lot of companies thank you guys very much

Had another great experience with Home Run Plumbing and Heating! Dave replaced my water heater and Saul replaced a motor in my furnace today. Both techs were very professional, knowledgeable and timely in completing their jobs. I'm always confident that Home Run will do a superb job no matter what the challenge!

Another excellent service call from Bodie and Saul at Home Run PHC. I received another one of those dreaded “48-hour continuous use detected” notices from the water company. I had just fixed a leak inside the house (see review below), but it turned out that indoor leak wasn’t the real culprit. I was losing a huge amount of water, and fast.

Bodie came out immediately, quickly located the problem, and once the water company marked the underground utilities, Saul had the leak repaired within hours.

These guys are consistently responsive, show up exactly when they say they will, do outstanding work, and leave the property in even better shape than they found it. Home Run PHC has earned a customer for life.

I'm happy to add another positive review for Home Run PHC!
I had a leaky shower - the fixtures were the original ones from the 1980s so I was concerned that this "simple" repair may turn into a costly project.

I contacted Home Run via text, expecting to schedule a service call for next week sometime, or even later. I was so surprised and happy when they responded "Sure! Would you like it done today?"

Within a couple of hours of my request, Saul arrived to help me out! Despite the old fixtures being stubborn, he was able to remove them and then took them over to a supplier who had parts for older stuff like mine. End result - a completely fixed shower within 2 hours - at a price that was totally reasonable!

It's great to be able to count on a company for home repairs, without having to worry about being overcharged. They have integrity and knowledge, and their customer service is top notch. Thanks again Saul and Home Run!

We’ve hired Home Run Plumbing on two occasions and would reach out to them again in the future. The most recent job was installing a saltless water softener and capping some piping that was no longer necessary. My conversations with Bodie and David were excellent and they do great work!

Bodie and David arrived fully prepared. They coordinated with 811, identified underground obstacles, and performed proper pressure tests on both the house piping and yard line. Both held for over 24 hours with zero pressure drop, confirming the entire system was leak‑free. They also correctly identified the yard line type and explained everything clearly.

They also did something no other company I contacted could do: they committed to my February 1 deadline and kept that commitment exactly as promised. That reliability alone sets them apart.

They brought the system up to current code — new valves, water‑heater safety corrections, seismic straps, drip pan, water alarm — all done cleanly and professionally. The state inspector later confirmed everything was up to standard.

Throughout the process, they were prompt, knowledgeable, respectful, and extremely thorough. They handled a complicated situation with real skill and integrity, and they earned my trust completely.
