First off: this is New Mexico, and David showed up exactly on time. I also got a prfessional estimate and clear appointment reminders ahead of the visit, which I really appreciated.

My new RO water system turned into a bear of an install, thanks to choices made by a contractor long ago. David was my in-home tech, and he handled it with calm professionalism. He worked through the complications, solved the weird parts, and then triple-checked everything before wrapping up. That level of care matters.

Bodie was the one who called me first and walked me through what to expect. He was patient, clear, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process feel manageable from the start.

Nothing felt rushed. No shortcuts. Just thoughtful troubleshooting, solid workmanship, and people who take real pride in doing it right.

I used Four Star Mechanical to service my Heater and they were very quick to come out and very affordable! I would use them again!

Very transparent with what my plumbing issues were. They take pride in their work and made it out to my home in no time! Four Star is hands down the best in town.

The positive reviews on here are friends and family. Just call to schedule and you can tell just by the way the girl answers the phone. I called to schedule and was told she busy and in the field when hours went by I called again and was told they could schedule with a window. They not professional and they are rude I will spend my money elsewhere

These guys are the guys to call for any of your plumbing, evaporative cooler, HVAC needs. Very professional & knowledgeable. The guy Wade is a superstar when it comes to troubleshooting wutever issue you may be having. And the woman that answered the phone aswell very knowledgable, friendly, curious & professional. Ive dealt with them twice & super satisfied both times. Check em out, you won't be disappointed

Four Star Mechanical provides an excellent service at a reasonable price. They make every effort to repair and replace at a cost that is affordable and the job is well done. They are professionals - recommend them without reservation.

If I could rate a zero, I would. The man they sent said my motor needs to be replaced. I presented him with two motors, one that I bought that day (to save time and money), and one that a friend had given me (he never used it). The man told me neither will fit, and he'll have to come back tomorrow with one that does.

The next morning this guy calls and says that they'll have to order me a new motor, because one isn't available in stock, or in stores here around town. It will take about a week for the motor to arrive and will cost me three hundred and some dollars (labor not included). I knew I was being played with at that point. I told him forget it, I'll find a motor on my own and someone to replace it.

I got brave and learned how to replace the motor on my own. Turns out the motor I purchased from Home Depot (for about $75) did fit, contrary to what Four Star Mechanical told me. I wrote them a letter to vent my frustration, and sent it by mail with the check for payment for what was a wasted hour of their time. Two weeks after the check was cashed, I still have yet to hear back from them.

I highly discourage anyone from doing business with them.

This company was contracted through a warranty service. There was three separate interactions, and all three of them resulted in a waste of time. For example, the first time they were supposed to come out in the a.m., however, they showed up at 3:30 in the afternoon. The next time they were supposed to come out, they ended up calling me at the very last minute of the window to tell me they didn’t have the right parts. This last time they were supposed to show up in the a.m., but they showed up in the p.m. again, and to make matters worse when I open up my garage to coordinate their repairs when I went into the garage, I caught them working without them telling me. they claim they tried to call me to tell me they were running late and they also claimed they knocked on the door however, both don’t match up with my experience. Long story short they did a good job but they’re terrible at communicating.

My mother is in her upper 60’s and it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find companies that will not try to rob her blind for house work etc.. The technicians were very courteous and professional and were able to snake most of the clogs we had during the “first round” of service. There was a toilet upstairs that was not resolving unfortunately.

The scheduler / person on the phone (I believe whose name was Evelyn) was rude and not transparent with what she deemed as “separate” vs “same” jobs. We were charged twice for something that should have been added to the first service. Very unclear, unprofessional and rude to deal with. Next time we will take our business elsewhere.

This was our second time having 4 Star Mechanical do work at our home and we will definitely be calling them again! They are no nonsense, very knowledgeable, get the work done in a timely manner, very reasonable hourly rate, just overall great people to deal with! Thanks again 4 Star for fixing our leaking shower pipes and replacing the broken shower fixtures!

Make your decision after read this review. DO NOT fall into their trap. Angelo, he said he is the owner, came to work on my dishwasher that didn't heat. He said the heat element would be replaced. After confirmed a few times by him surly the dishwasher would be worked well after replacing the heat element, I paid $212 to replace the heat element. BUT, it didn't work. He again asked me to replace the control panel that cost $300 more. I was surprised because he just promised the heat element was the reason, BUT, he said he didn't say that. I required him to take away the heat element and refund my money. He said he would help me install if I purchase a new dishwasher. This company normally works with home warranty company, and doing an awful work. Keep it away!

We had a plumber come out and they attempted to fix the valve in our shower but when their effort failed they said we would have to tear out a wall then they literally ran out the the door.
Then we called Four Star Mechanical who came back several times, refusing to give up on fixing the plumbing valve. They saved our closing on the house as well as saving us a great deal of money.
If you want a plumbing company with integrity and terrific work ethics, call FOUR STAR MECHANICAL.

I highly recommend 4 Star Mechanical. They fixed my AC and absolutely did an outstanding job. My home warranty company dragged their feet but 4 Star Mechanical stayed on them to get the paperwork through and get my AC fixed. They are friendly, professional and proficient. I appreciate all they did. Great job.
