Austin was professional and efficient. He determined we were missing some valves and parts and notified us so we could order them and keep our project moving forward. He also went out of his way to repair our boiler that was having some issues. He fixed only what was wrong and did not try to upsell the fix. I was recommend by a friend who had some renovation work on their house and was very happy with the results. I had to replace my boiler and after getting a few other recommendations for other companies in town and getting a few quotes, I ultimately went with Austin and am extremely happy with the results.

He was very professional and thorough and genuinely seemed like he cared and wanted to help. He was the only company that gave me multiple options and explained the pros and cons of each. He is one-man operation and replaced my boiler quickly and efficiently.

Communication was excellent and I was even able to ask follow-up questions a few weeks after completion that he was happy to help me with.

I have recommended him to a few friends who are also very happy with his work and I will continue to use him for any plumbing/heating issues I have.

Austin is great. Comes on time, gets ‘er done, and is reasonably priced. The work is good quality. He recently installed my toilet, bidet, and shower heads.

Radiant heating wasn't functioning. Northern Mechanical quickly identified what the problem was, what had caused the problem, how to correct in the short term and what a long term fix was. They also performed annual maintenance on the boiler as well. Very satisfied witb the services provided.

Austin and Northern Mechanical team did a one-day install of a 75-gallon gas hot water heater at my residence, on the same day that I contacted him with an urgent need. Particularly notable because the date was December 31! The workman ship was excellent, and I would recommend them highly -- Don Voss, Albuquerque resident.

Austin came over today to replace my whole house humidifier. He also made sure my heaters were functioning correctly, and he took the time to show me areas of concern and fixed those as well. My house is finally warm and the humidity is coming up so the air isn’t so dry. Thank you so much!!

Austin and his crew at Northern Mechanical have worked on three different projects at my house in the NE Heights area. Two of the repairs were plumbing (leaking water heater and leaking pressure regulator valve) and the third was replacing the fan and motor in our furnace. On each occasion they responded with a same day or next day visits. Both the water heater and the pressure regulator leaks were same day repairs. The furnace repair required a follow-up visit due to lack of availability of parts in Albuquerque. Austin ordered the necessary parts immediately, kept me informed of their arrival schedule and completed the repair the day they came in. They were quick, clean and professional and I recommend their work.

Great working with Austin! I had some questions on the plumbing in our new home and he went over everything, clearly explaining where things were hooked up and how our radiant system was plumbed. I also had the water softener replaced and he provided a couple different options to help find the one that for our needs.

Austin came out quickly to work on our boiler, which wasn't igniting. Since the replacement part he found that we needed wasn't available in town, he was able to get it shipped here quickly, and got us up and running again. He also suggested purging the water pipes, which I didn't know how to do, or even that it could be done. So I'm glad he recommended it.

My 30+ year old furnace finally died on a Thursday night while it was snowing, after hours. I called some big name local companies with 24 hour numbers and learned I was out of luck til Friday morning at earliest. I found Northern Mechanical via NextDoor with perfect reviews. I called attempting to leave a message and was surprised to get Austin that night. He had me take some pictures and measurements and said he’d have someone over Friday morning to have a look. I explained I needed it done before Monday-it snowed all day Friday and was super cold over the weekend and I could not get out of work the following week. He said he could help me. Santiago showed up Friday morning as promised. Austin was in constant communication and had located a furnace for me and had guys able to complete the job that day. I committed at 11:00 AM, the furnace, Santiago and Zach were at my house starting by noon. They finished the install by 4PM Friday afternoon and I had heat again in under 24 hours. I realize this was super lucky that the equipment and crew were available right away but I very much appreciated it. I ended up with a better unit at a comparable price to what the big name companies were offering for a lesser heater. I believe Austin’s pricing was very fair and competitive. I was completely satisfied working with Austin and his guys, and moreso, thankful for them rescuing my family and I so professionally and quickly. I cannot speak highly enough of Austin and Northern Mechanical after this experience. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I will be referring him to everyone I know and will certainly use Northern Mechanical again in the future. Thanks again Austin, Santiago and Zach.
