Really bad experience here, owner is quick to yelling and aggression

They are friendly and knowledgeable about the plants. I know nothing plants but when your able tell me how to take care them. OMG

Unfriendly staff member..literally scolded me and my dog and said “keep your dog from aggression” while I have seen many dogs come into there business and my dog looked and was acting in harmless matter. Will never visit this business again.

Bad service. The person who works there is really rude and impatient, doesn’t seem to care about if they get the business or not. Plus they charge higher than other places for potting. Plants are good price though.

Very nice ppl even if they decide how much to charge by looking at you. Main problem is the pests. 3 different plants from them with 3 different pests, save yourself the headaches. Hope they can get these problems under control

the folks that run this place are really pleasant. that said, I didn't appreciate the spider mite infestation that accompanied my ficus home. I've lost eight OTHER plants to the carnage and I imagine I'll lose some more (including my first born son) before this biblical plague subsides.

edit: rip my spider plant
edit 2: rip my money tree, also found mites on my pilea.... this place is costing me my entire plant collection.

Gardel cares about plants, and so do all the staff. Friendly neighbourhood customer service. Go to learn as much as for the well-stocked nursery. They'll help you make wise choices for garden and house plants.

Gardel is wonderful- friendly, knowledgeable, professional and talented. I trusted him to help design and plant my outdoor Brooklyn flower garden and couldn’t be happier. It is the envy of the block and now my neighbors are interested in services!

Owner was closing up but helped me choose beautiful fresh flowers as gifts. Very nice man.

Looking for a new hobby to ease my mind of the global chaos 2020 has unleashed, I found Gardel’s Garden in passing... and walked out with four lovely plants (within two days). Gardel’s has an amazing selection to choose from. As a novice, he explained the signs to look for when my babies need water and care for them if any insects are present. I like the idea that I can always return if there are any concerns. I’m certain he hasn’t seen the last of me. I definitely recommend Gardel’s.
