The cleaners were nice, and they did a good job, but they very clearly broke our outlet in our bathroom (I’m sure it was an accident and they may have not even noticed, but our outlet was not broken before they cleaned) and when I called to ask for some sort of compensation as I’d have to fix it, I got zero help or even a kind word at all, just a very rude woman telling me they didn’t use the outlet and it wasn’t their fault. Disappointing because I would use them again but the service is awful!

I got the move in/out cleaning service and frankly I expected a deeper cleaning. The fridge was still dirty with butter from previous tenant, scuff marks were not removed, baseboard was not cleaned, dust and dirt were still on the walls, floor under oven was dirty, grease on the kitchen, etc. This is not the service I would expect for a 677 dollar bill.

They are amazing! Hired them because there were tough stains in the bathroom and some paint stains on my floor. They did an amazing job cleaning everything!! Would highly recommend. The cleaners were very professional and even arrived a few minutes early to set up and listen to your needs. Will definitely be using them again!

I had a great first experience with Lazy Susan. The cleaner was very attentive and did a great job. Communication was also great with the team. Awesome prices as well

Lazy Susan’s team did a FANTASTIC deep clean of our apartment, which had been lived in for FIFTEEN years. It looked like a whole new space. Their pricing is also in line with what you get. Highly recommend.

TL;DR: STAY AWAY FROM LAZY SUSAN.
Literally the LAZIEST cleaning I have ever paid for. On Thursday may 9th, I paid for a “move out cleaning” at my one bedroom apartment. I was alerted in advance that the team was running a little behind and that was fine, their delayed timing was accurate and they arrived at 10:20am. However, when they got there there were 3 people and said one more was coming, and because of this the cleaning would not be 8.5 hours long. Makes sense I thought, four people definitely don’t need that much time...
But you can imagine my confusion when I received a text at 12:30pm saying they were “all done.” Knowing the state the apartment was in when I left (very dirty, hence my paying for a true deep move out clean), I could not imagine that it was “move out clean” in just over two hours time. They sent me a few before/after photos of what had been done and at a glance, it looked okay. I was at a doctors appointment that I planned specifically so I’d be away during the cleaning and back before it was done (when I thought it was an 8.5 hour clean) — but they finished so early I was still at the appointment by the time they left!
I came back to check on the apartment and found that it was FAR from “move out clean” — additionally the team had the audacity to question my tip amount via text (photo included) when I fully planned on adding more to the tip after I saw a job well done (which obviously will not be happening now).
I spent about 3 hours on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors, finding hairs, soooo much dirt, pieces of plastic on the floor, grime still in the fridge (that could be easily wiped away with a finger, dirt on baseboards, dirt in closets, window sills, etc.. Nowhere that was missed was behind furniture (as there was none in the apartment), behind appliances, or above anything that was unreachable (i am 5'2 and could reach every place that there was dirt found) -- most of it was very easy to be seen and was just missed out of laziness or a lack of care. The after photos are very "general" and do not show details whatsoever... I have easily 30 photos and videos of myself cleaning the apartment after it was "cleaned" and they are disgusting and quite frankly unacceptable. The price was RIDICULOUS for the service that was rendered as this was supposed to be a MOVE OUT CLEAN, aka the most expensive deep clean possible (minus a covid clean). They stayed there for TWO HOURS on what was supposed to be an 8.5 hour clean. Paying $550-600 for something that I had to end up redoing better myself is simply, wrong.
I have reached out via email and told that they would be "investigate" however there is nothing to investigate. A partial refund if not a full refund is what should be granted and I will be contacting my credit card company about this if there is not a resolution.
Bottom line, when the name of a compnay includes "lazy" in the title.... believe them. -
I paid over $1,000 for a deep clean and I'm still finding dirt between blinds, getting black feet from my wood floor, and they missed whole portions like stairs and entrance areas. Not only was it not deep, it was a poor regular clean. I even got a second person to come back and they missed the same areas. The administers started to get short with me so I gave up. I have no idea why my Realator's suggested them. Massive waste of money. Avoid.

Paid for a booking and cleaner never showed up. They never called us either. After multiple attempts to call them, we finally got through and had a surreal conversation with their “customer service manager.” Made up at least 2 conflicting stories as to what happened. Did not apologize or even seem to register that it was an issue. I’m not sure how this place stays in business. Do your job.

We have lived in this brooklyn apartment for 6 years and it's never been so clean. Elizabeth was simply amazing. We had booked 2 people for 3 hrs but a miscommunication led to only one person showing up. But a prompt callback by Frankie rectified the situation to our satisfaction. Elizabeth exceeded our expectations in 4 hrs and we were refunded the 2 hrs we had already paid for. Amazing and expert cleaning and management.

I’ve been Lazy Susans customer for two years. My recent experience was not what they usually offer.
The cleaner came to the apartment, stayed there for an hour and left without cleaning.
I reached out to the customer service. They offered a redo but I already moved to a different apartment so I asked for a refund.
The customer service didn’t follow up and neither redo nor refund happened. I will seek another cleaning service. -
I recently moved out of an apartment and I had a cleaner from Lazy Susan's Cleaning come to do the finishing touches on the apartment. It was very easy to book an appointment online for the day and time that I wanted and they have a very generous cancellation policy. In addition, I was able to specify that they bring their own cleaning supplies at no extra charge.
The work they did exceeded my expectations in that they were very thorough and left everything sparkling clean. They were able to turn the apartment into what it looked like more than 2 years ago. -
Super disappointed. Booked a 5 hr ‘custom’ deep-clean (the most expensive option I could find on their page) the website had me specify # of bedrooms/bathrooms, etc. A lady came, she didn’t speak English- which is fine but in that case a company usually at least calls to interpret. Then a 2nd lady shows up unexpectedly, they rush through and kept telling me “trabajo” finished. I’d ask “did you clean under the bed,” they’d say yes & id check & they didn’t. I just realized tonight they didn’t even clean the 2nd bathroom. With tip I paid almost $600.

Here’s a polished version of your Google review for Lazy Susan of New York City:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I want to start by apologizing to the lovely person I spoke to on the phone—I got a little feisty because my cleaners were late, and it wasn’t communicated to me. But hey, this is New York City, not the suburbs. Transportation delays are to be expected, so no hard feelings!
Now, on to the cleaning: WOW. Jenny and I believe it was her husband who came to do the cleaning, and he did a fantastic job. I couldn’t have asked for a better duo! They tackled everything: my dog-hair-covered carpet looks brand new, they vacuumed between and under my couches, cleaned my baseboards, scrubbed my tiles, mopped my floors, organized my kitchen, and even cleaned out my refrigerator. The attention to detail was incredible!
My home now feels fresh, organized, and ready for the week ahead. I feel so much better with everything up to my standards. I will definitely be booking with Lazy Susan again and will be requesting this amazing team specifically if possible. Thank you for your hard work and dedication—I’m thrilled with the results and hope your business continues to thrive.
Highly recommend Lazy Susan for anyone needing top-tier cleaning services in NYC! -
