This business steam cleans carpets using a very good method. They did a fantastic job completely cleaning my carpets. I was astounded at how quickly and thoroughly they showed up. I was really grateful that they went above and above to bring back the luster to my flooring.

I'm quite delighted with how well they were able to color-correct my carpets. The whole team was polite, skilled, and completed the assignment quickly! I am grateful that they took back their carpets without leaving any evidence of their visit.

We were dealing with a roach infestation from a prior building that our moving company had brought along with us, and had no idea where to get a proper cleaning done before the exterminator that our new building dealt with came to nuke them from orbit. On doing a search for cleaners that handled bed bug prep (bed bug prep is worse than roach prep, right?), we found Great Green Cleaning. Laura turned what would have been the fortnight from hell that was getting rid of the infestation into something manageable, even helping with the unpacking of some boxes when we were just too overwhelmed to look at them. I contacted great green cleaning after a bathroom renovation. Our place is not terrible - we've lived here through the renovation and have cleaned ourselves throughout. We just wanted someone to do a deep clean to make sure we didn't miss anything and to get behind the furniture before we put our rugs back down. I had a terrible customer service experience when trying to get an estimate, so I didn't book. First, they will not speak to you via text or email. Then, when they speak to you on the phone they won't give you an estimate without you texting or emailing photos. The only reason they get you on the phone is to ask you how you found them which is of benefit to the business and not the customer. Then, they're weirdly invasive with their questioning and ask who currently cleans the space. Answering that 'we clean the apartment ourselves' is not a good enough answer. There are follow up questions: "partner? roommate"? Why does that matter? Super creepy. And then there's the price. I live in a typical 1 bed, 1 bath 700 sq. ft apartment in midtown east. At $100/hour with an estimated time of 15-20 hours (low range) and 40-45 hours (high range)... the estimate is between $1,500.00 - $4,500.00!! This is literally insane.

The work that the team work did in my house and my garden was stunning. They manage to reorganize all my house and really know what they are doing. The best of all it's the fact that all the cleaning product they use its no. Toxic and green. I highly recommend them for a spring cleaning garden. My house look magnificent and my garden all refresh for the new season coming. Thank you great green cleaning.

We had an absolutely fantastic clean for our first cleaning with Great Green. Diane was our cleaner and she took care of the apartment after a roomie moved out. She had the whole place deep cleaned down to the baseboards and the shoe tray. Love that they use natural/ non-toxic cleaners as well. Thank you Diane! Thank you Great Green!

We had a very disappointing experience with Great Green Cleaning. First, our oven was left on for several hours after the cleaners left our apartment (and it was never cleaned.) Next, our stovetop was inoperable when we returned home. We called an appliance company and paid $200 to fix the stovetop. Their report stated that large amounts of soapy water spilled into stovetop disabling the spark module. Great Green denied us reimbursement or credit. We do not recommend this company due to negligent actions and poor customer service.

Great green is not only quick to respond and always able to fit with my schedule, they’re also thorough and quick. They work quietly and leave everything the way they found it - but clean! My fridge and freezer is shiny and my beds don’t have a carpet of dust underneath anymore. Ive used them 3 times and will definitely use them again.

Definitely recommend for anyone. I hired this cleaning company for my employer, Hudson Pro Health's new office site. They did an amazing job! Daniel helped me set everything up, and was very pleasant the whole way through. No complaints what so ever :)!

I have been going to Great Green Cleaning for many years. Over 4 now since I moved to NYC. I have had a lot of different cleaners and all been very good. I have Diane now and she is terrific. The office team is great-just helped me with a big project on my new condo. I would highly recommend them.

I had to clean after they left. I was told that moving furniture would not be a problem but was sent a housekeeper with bad knees, who called the office to complain. The housekeepers brought Popeye's chicken and ate it during their shift. I found chicken crumbs on the kitchen counter! What is so great and green about that? When I called to complain, the customer service rep only offered excuses for the housekeepers. They did not discount my service, only gave me a credit for the next cleaning. There will be no next time!

Since this review I have had 3 different company reps call me to make excuses about the service. They offered "credit" on my account for the next cleaning. What account? That's a clever way to keep my money.

I finally decided to take them up on this "credit". I had a vacant apartment that had recently been painted in preparation for an incoming tenant. I called to make the appointment and was told that vacant/newly painted apartments have a different rate that would not apply to my credit. Done!

I highly recommend Great Green Cleaning. We hired them to do a deep clean of our apartment after 4 years of constant traffic with two adults, two kids, and a dog. We have our place cleaned regularly, but wanted a team to get the really hard to get spots (walls, baseboards, cabinets, etc). Daniel was super patient and thorough in getting an estimate pulled together. He walked me through their COVID protocols and their commitment to their long-term staff. The cleaning crew did a thorough job in less than the time estimated. Because they missed a few spots, Daniel sent another cleaner to finish the list of remaining items, in under the total estimated time, and refunded us the extra time. We would definitely use Great Green Cleaning again!

SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! I hired Great Green Cleaning after being sorely disappointed by several other cleaning companies--so disappointed, in fact, that I hadn't had one come in for years. Great Green absolutely rocked it out. They cleaned my house thoroughly and with very little input from me--and our cleaner, Caroline, did it with a smile and a kind word for both me and my three-year-old daughter. Love them and can't wait to have them back in! I'll be calling them much more frequently, especially since we're expecting a new little one!

I really enjoyed my experience with Great Green Cleaning. It was given to me as a gift. The office staff making my appointment was wonderful. The owner, Cindy, taught me how these things work-what tasks they can do and about how much time different tasks take. I'm a bit inexperienced with these things and it was confusing for me the last time I had someone clean my house. Having those questions answered really made the experience more relaxing and enjoyable. She also helped me choose someone to come to my home who matched my preferences and priorities. It was important to me that I felt comfortable with the person so I wouldn't feel embarrassed or stressed. It was great that the office also called before the start time to tell me in advance that she would be arriving a bit late because the train service by my home was shut down. The woman who came, Qhadijah, was kind and friendly and competent and good with my daughter. Everything she cleaned was done well and I liked the way she asked if there was anything she missed. She was very cooperative and open to anything I asked for. She put me at ease and made it an enjoyable experience. I would use her again and I recommend this service to anyone who needs cleaning or housekeeping or anything else and I intend to recommend to any friends or family who are looking for a great experience with reliable service.

I bought a house which was a known fixer-upper ... but one never knows just how much of a fixer-upper such a house is. It's a small house and so every square foot of cleanliness was cherished since I had to live in it during the renovation phase. The entire house was under construction for three months. I had Great Green come in during the construction once a week to keep my personal space livable. Without them I would have had to spend *thousands* of dollars on hotels and would have been displaced from my home-office. Great Green's people were courteous, respectful, and worked around the various trades, and saw their work dirtied even moments after they cleaned. They didn't whine or complain, just kept cleaning to keep me sane. While it might seem strange to clean during the construction, they managed to keep the dirt and dust to a minimum. The post-construction cleanup was a blessing! I had my first business meeting at the house three days after construction was completed and a family party a week after that. Tops of doors, fan blades, moldings, even folding piles of clean clothes ... nothing was too much and I'm very grateful. What I liked best was that any time I had a request or noted something with which I was not satisfied they were more than willing to work with me toward resolution. For this alone (and doing so under difficult circumstances), I give them an A+.

I can't say enough positive things about this company! I was in last-minute need of a post-construction cleaning for a loft space and Great Green was beyond accommodating! All my interactions with their staff were not only efficient and professional, but also enjoyable...not to mention the actual cleaning job was spotless.
