They will give you quote in the phone when you get there they they will dnie that quote they will charge you lots more than the other they conduct there business in laying it shoud be honesty and truth

Customer beware! Would rate zero stars if we could. We called for help with clogged toilet, and were told the service charge would be $125 plus additional charges depending on the job. (It was an early Sunday evening; proprietor later informed us their weekday service charge is $85.) Plumber spent 10 minutes with an augur to complete routine job, including two low-cost parts (flapper and water hose)--and then informed us that we owed an additional $375! In sum, we paid $500 for a 10-minute job, at least double the high-end rate as defined by many Internet sites. Called the proprietor to complain; a week later, he has yet to get back to us.

Would rate zero if i could, so many workers but they serve one client at a time. Why would you have 10+ employees and serve one client at a time??? Girl at the office kris i guess were rude. Would not recommend. Very dissapointed.

I own a kitchen and bath showroom, Posh Kitchens & Baths, and have been buying plumbing fixtures for over 30 years. I just ordered 3 items from Utica for the first time and was very impressed by the amazingly efficient process. I got a clear confirmation in minutes of emailing in my order, the order went out the same day, and I received on Long Island the very next day. It was better than Amazon and in an industry that it usually very disorganized.

I been coming here for years get what I need from here an keep it moving. But I was very unpleased when I saw Lenny that was always in the front moved to the back. He knows how to take orders an helps out please moving him back to the front. the heavy set gentleman is help full. But the other guy that's there is very slow an always says his computer froze when I call in a order. Plz plz plz bring Lenny back to the front counter

I ordered a sink from AJ Madison and Utica was the factory shipper for the items I ordered.
There was a mistake in the shipping and the wrong items were shipped to me.
Rather than deal with AJ Madison I grabbed the packing slip and Called Utica.
I called and spoke to Josh who was very empathetic to my situation. Josh did not hesitate to to correct the issue immediately.
Rather than make me wait to get my items that where in another part of the country ( this could take a week or two) he sent me a new item next day delivery. This is a 200lbs item!!
Josh followed up with me via email and phone and gave me the tracking numbers.

Mistakes happen to all of us at some point. What natters is how that mistake is handled. In this case it was done perfectly and the way I would take care of one of my own customers.

I ordered a bathroom vanity and the color (ash grey)didn’t match the James Martin website. They made James Martin aware of the situation and they insisted that was the correct color. Instead of getting into a debate about the color I decided to order it in white instead. The white vanity came Damaged as well as the second one. Jamie and Mike went above and beyond to make things right. They took a big loss and still did the right thing. Kudos to Utica plumbing. All customer service experiences should go as well as this did. I will recommend you to everyone I know. Thank you for saving my bathroom project.

Heavy set Counter person was very nasty, rude and disgusting, insisting that i a plumber use a barrel type nipple and teflon tape to connect 1/2” speedy connectors, he cursed me out and refused to fill my order and had someone else fill my order, when i was finally able to explain why this does not work and what the correct fitting was that should be used i was given a t shirt and no apology.
Facts:
1.) barrel type nipple threads starts off small in width and increase in with as threads increase…..therefore it cannot make a proper seal when it reaches the rubber washer in speedy connector also the thead do not seal proper as well because are not a full width they increase in width.
2.) nipple should not need teflon tape to make proper seal to threads in 1/2” speedy connection because the seal is to be made at the washer……..which a barrel type nipple does not properly do!!!!!!

*1/2x1/2 brass nipple shown in photo is the correct nipple to use in this application because its theads are the same width from beginning to end forming a proper seal at thread and MORE IMPORTANTLY forming a proper seal with rubber washer in 1/2” speedy connection.*

-Counter person Rude/Nasty/Unapologetic
-counter man is inexperienced and provided me with the wrong part, did not understand why its not supposed to be used
-The 2nd counter person that was less experienced than the first knew even less than he did
-When i explained to another employee what happened he gave me a shirt and said you got a shirt have a nice day…..still no apology

*When you go to a plumbing supply you expect them to have the right parts you need but you dont expect them to force the wrong information onto you and sell you some handyman way (barrel nipple and teflon tape) when clearly it is the wrong nipple for this application.

This Plumbing Supply might as well be a Hardware store.

I was really disappointed by the service provided, first they give me a price for cutting gas pipes, I paid, and I wait 45m without any updates, when I ask how much time it will take, the person at the counter tells me "he's working in the back at his own peace, and I'm not going to ask him questions." What kind of service is that?
and when he was done he told me they charged me wrong and it's 28$ more.
I honestly would have just left but after I waited 1h15 and paid already 190$, I didn't really have a choice...
That's not a way to do business.

The first person who came out charged 7 thousand did two days worth of work told me his partner will come finish the rest and instead the boss nephew come charge me an extra 3500 and failed inspection 3 time's. It's been 3 week's to a month job still isn't finished and they've been fully paid in full. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
