I hate when I need to call a plumber. It’s a big racket. “$200 to diagnose, then we’ll apply it to your (exorbitant) estimate.” Then they find more things wrong. It’s horrible.
But not today. I called 24 HR Plumbing. Two guys showed up the same day (although I called after 2PM), checked out my issue, and told me how much it would be. Free estimate. Which was exactly how much I thought it would be. These guys were personable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. They got the job done in 40 minutes, cleaned up after themselves and did not try to oversell. Excellent work. My wife and I could not be happier.

Had a burst pipe on one of the coldest days this season. called and they said someone would be there within 2 hours. called again as that window passed, they said they would get back to me, called again and they said they would escalate to a manager. after 3 hours they stopped picking up the phone. this all took place after 8pm on a Saturday so few options for finding someone who could come out. do not trust them.

My gas was shut down due to a leak. I was totally out of sorts and confused as to what to do. Thanks to Nationwide Plumbers and their staff (especially Krista) I was informed about the procedures. I was kept in the loop at all times and no question was insignificant. Thanks for patience and service.

At no point did I feel uncomfortable and they answered every question I had with patience and simplicity so I can understand. Had MANY other plumbers come by to see what the issue was with leaks and the banging in my heaters! No one can figure it out! Nationwide Plumbers came and literally knew exactly what the issue was in minutes!

I waited (not so patiently) for 6 months for another plumber to come and fix the hot water heater at my job. Eventually I got sick of waiting and decided to call Nationwide. I am so happy that I did! I called them on Thursday and eight days later I have hot water. Scheduling was so easy! They offer flexible appointment times and are very responsive by phone and email.
The technicians that came today, Michael and Kevin, were very professional, efficient and non-intrusive. Leaving the room as clean as they found it when they left.

My only wish is that I called them six months ago!

We had a main line blockage and the toilet and shower in our basement were backing up. Starting with Johan, who calmed me down in the late Saturday evening hours when I called, and then made his company available to us at any time we wanted, to the technicians who arrived at our door ahead of time on Monday morning I was pleased! We came home from a few days away to 3+ inches of water flowing out of our garage. We called Nationwide and Brooklyn’s own, Krista was able to get a crew out to us very early the next day. John, Kevin and new guy Gary came and were able to detect and fix the issue quickly, professionally and correctly.

Nationwide were excellent. They came out within hours, were fairly priced, and everyone I spoke to was very professional. Highly recommend.

Because of the new gas inspection regulation, we had to find a gas line inspector who would confirm we were up to par.
After calling 4 other places, I came across Nationwide Plumbers and spoke with David. He knew exactly what regulation I was referring to and after taking some information, was able to access what zone I was in and the deadline for the certification. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and very accommodating in terms of appointments. They send text messages to confirm your upcoming appointment, which is usually a window of a few hours. They’re also very responsive whenever you call with questions.
David was the one to actually come and do the inspection and after less than an hour, he was done. He took pictures of pipes/meters and overall area pictures as well as potential minor issues. He also used a gas meter wand (not sure the formal term for the instrument) and checked all the pipes for leaks as well as doorways of apartments.
He was on time, professional and respectful. And eco-friendly as he arrived on a scooter 🛵 but considering gas prices these days….also very smart!!
They also weren’t as pricey as I thought it would be (thankfully 😁), which includes sending certification to the city agency… only to do this again in 4 years 🤦🏻‍♀️.
Overall good experience with them and would recommend their expertise!!

This is the second time I’ve called upon Nationwide Plumbers. They are reliable, knowledgeable, punctual, clean, and courteous. They were finally able to located a persistent leak under my sink. I was really very happy with their work and will call on them for all my plumbing needs in the future.
