Called Louie and he came over within 30 minutes. He began his diagnostics and serviced the water heater to determine the unit didn't have gas supply. Due to a mix up, the gas company shut off the gas to my apartment before my arrival. Louie charged $375 and offered to come back later when the gas is turned on to complete the troubleshooting but my landlord chose someone else. I would've preferred to have Louie do the necessary work that's needed but I had no say on that. Louie was great 👍

For ten years I had a variety of plumbers try to fix my radiant heating. I'm on the fifth floor so it's a long distance for the water to travel. Some plumbers gave me temporary fixes and some alluded to a larger problem with the way my building was set up and then stopped returning my calls. Luis came highly recommended and lived up to it. He told me not to worry that he was gonna stick with it and when he was my done issues would be over. Over the years I've learned to be doubtful, but after a few months of trial and error he lived up to his word.
Some companies send different people each year who have to start over and always gave different diagnosis. Luis was great cause it was always him. Each time he came he didn't need to start fresh and I could tell he was personally invested in solving my problem.

We required both the water heater and toilet to be repaired. Both services ($200) were done in a single appointment in an excellent, timely fashion (under an hour) the following day after the initial inspection ($150). The repairs and changes were explained thoroughly, and both the new installed parts and old problematic ones were shown. After the job was completed, he made sure to double check that the heating pipes were warming up, thermostat properly set, and everything was in order. Nice, friendly guy. I would highly recommend this business.

Louie worked on 2 boilers for me and did an excellent job. He works quickly and neatly. He corrected two bad jobs done by previous plumbers. He does the work himself.

Our nest heat thermostat would say “in 20 minutes” for days… and our baseboard heaters would not heat up past 74 degrees.

Louis came within the hour to diagnose our problem and the next day he came back with the equipment to fix it. I appreciated that he explained what was wrong and what needed to be fixed to me. After he was finished, our thermostat was able to shoot up to 84 degrees.

He’s super friendly, thorough, punctual and honest. I would use his services again in the future!

I called L&B Mechanical to snake my bathtub because it was clogged. They have also done some other work for me with replacing water heaters and the pump on a boiler. Louie knows what he’s doing, and he is excellent about communicating, which is something you don’t always find. I would definitely recommend this company.

I couldn't recommend Emergency Plumber & Sewer Cleaning more highly. Prompt service from my initial call through the repairs. The plumbers that came out were ahead of schedule, professional, and friendly, and had the patience to explain everything they were doing step by step. I also appreciated their honesty in telling me when something did not need repairing and pointing out other potential issues in a cost-effective way. Of course, their cost was very reasonable and I will definitely be using them in the future. Thanks guys!!

I called L & B because I had loud banging in my pipes. I had a new boiler installed by another company about a year ago. The company that installed my boiler never returned my calls. Louie came to assess the problem and advised me that the pipes to the boiler were improperly installed (not angled properly). Louie came the next day and put in new pipes and unclogged my boiler. My boiler is working fine, no more loud banging. I would definitely recommend L & B. Louie was polite, prompt, clean and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable.

Louie is was the only one who picked up out of several other places I called after an emergency. Not only did he set up an appointment with me first thing in the morning, but he showed up before time. Louie informed me of every step he took, and why. What certain people things meant and could happen.

Initially we thought there would have to be a water heater replacement, but he double checked before leaving. Fortunately that wasn’t the case and he made everything right. He’s definitely going to be my go-to guy for anything like this. Louie is great and I can’t say that enough!

Nine months later I had another emergency that was unrelated. Louie and Leo came over the very next morning to assess the situation, and resolve it right away. We spoke about repairs and the steps needed, and Louie made sure to take care of everything along with providing extra help. Leo was very professional, arrived early each day and went straight to work. I’m very happy with the outcome, and grateful to both of them for their help with this stressful situation.

I had Louis to fix the leak: the water pipe under the kitchen sink in my apartment is leaking. It slowly leaks when not using water. Water kept leaking out after turning on. After contacting him, he responded immediately even at night, came to see the situation the next day, and repaired the problem the third day. He was referred to me by my neighbor. And he is good and quick. Now I can use my kitchen sink. Highly recommend he and his team to everyone!!!

Lou is true professional. Responded immediately and kept his word. Examined my hot water tank issue and provided us with 2options. He was thorough and gave prices for both options. We decided on option 2 and got a new tank. He came on the appointment time and went above and beyond when the tank didn’t fit through the door. He and his employee gently removed my new door and awning. He completed entire job in less than 2 hours. Left everything intact and clean. Nicely done! Will definitely call him again for any plumbing issues!!!

We had problem with wall banging whenever we open and close the water faucet. Louie and his team fixed the problem and helped us realize other issues that would have caused so much more damage in the future and helped us fix it. It was a few day project but they always leave the place clean after finishing up for the day. We love the end results and Louie was very professional. Highly recommend.
