I had reached out to a number of plumbing services but CID was able to confirm an appointment for me that same day and had consistent communication about timing.
I was pleasantly surprised that Chris was able to remove a blockage within my toilet in a matter of minutes, at a lower price than anticipated. Great service.

We have used CID Plumbing for the last couple of years and they have been amazing. They are clean, respectful, smart and always show up on time. We had our hot water heater changed from them recently and our main sewer line hydro jetted. Highly recommend CID especially with their communication!

An amazing company that actually stands behind its business practice. When I had an issue with a clogged sink they got someone to my house within two hrs. When I need something else to be resolved ( and they couldn’t get someone to me right away) they provided with alternatives. An amazing company with some amazing workers. While I hope to not have many plumbing issues, I do know who I will call if I do! Highly recommend!

We used CID plumbing to set up a backwater prevention system to help our basement not flood die to the sewer backing up every heavy rainstorm. CiD was very familiar with the issue and came right away to look and come up with a solution. They were very responsive when we had followup questions and came back and finished all the work in a few days. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable crew.

This is from a few years ago. But these guys are great. Did my water heater. Happy and it’s been YEARS with zero issues.

My husband and I hired CID Plumbing for a sump pump and check valve installation. From the initial quote / inspection to the final completed job, I was consistently impressed with the professionalism and communicativeness of CID Plumbing. We had multiple issues with our toilet and sink. CID plumbing had someone there in 15 minutes (wasn’t even an emergency). Figured out the problem quickly and was able to do a relatively large job the next morning. Communicated with me continuously during the whole process. Working with CID has been seamless and efficient. I'm very impressed and will definitely use them in the future.

I needed a sink installed at my studio. Exceptional service all around! CID was extremely responsive to all my questions and made the whole process quite simple. I couldn't believe how communicative they were! Highly recommend.

Have worked with CID a few times now and always get great and efficient service at a reasonable price, especially compared to other big name companies. Plumbers were super kind, very clear with everything that was being done (replace shower temp cartridge, remove 2 toilets and replace wax seal on both) , and worked quickly. Best experience with a plumber I’ve had in NYC. Last night my shower was leaking water into the downstairs neighbor’s apartment. They came the next morning. Didn’t overcharge me or come up with hidden or surprise fees. Reasonably priced!

Ignacio was professional, patient, and efficient. They explained the issue clearly, worked around co-op delays, and were very respectful to my elderly mom. Mackenzie, who coordinated everything, was also great—responsive, understanding, and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

The coordination from start to finish from Mackenzie was fantastic. I called in with a leaking water heater midday Sunday (non-emergency but needed to be fixed within the week) and the team was ready to go first thing Monday. Iggy, Chris, and Adan were exceptional in working in a tight utility closet space to replace my water heater (that was suspended 6 feet in the air from the ceiling) in my apartment. Mackenzie was prompt in sending the invoice to me a few hours after the job was completed. Her communication was excellent around timing of the teams arrival as well. Highly recommended!

8/23/24 - I left a review 2 years ago, and the quality, responsiveness and professionalism is still great! 2 weeks ago Chris came to fix a leak that was coming from the first floor bathroom down to the basement. Today I had to call them again to install a new valve to connect the water line to my new fridge because the old fridge died suddenly. Shoutout to Mackenzie for squeezing me in today! Thank you to all for such great customer service!

Jerry and Chris are great! Super quick reply after I filled out their form online - so quick I was shocked. Excellent communication if they were running late. I appreciate how Jerry stood in my kitchen as he contemplated how to fix my leaking stack pipe problem without having to break through the entire wall. He gave me the best case scenario and the worst case scenario and I asked him the prices for both. Turns out once he made a cut in the wall behind my dishwasher, he could fix the problem with the best case scenario, and to my delight he even charged me less than he'd originally told me. (I had gotten a previous quote from another plumber, who recommended busting the wall in my kitchen to get to the pipe and I saved twice the amount of $$$ by hiring Jerry and Chris instead). They also finished the job sooner than was expected - they returned from picking up the supplies needed at 8:30pm, replaced the old pipe with a new one and were done and walking out of my door at 10pm. I highly recommend them and would ABSOLUTELY use them again.

Our hot water heater wasn’t working. CID gave us an estimate and replacement the same day. The pricing was fair, service exceptional and they caught problems the previous plumber created that could have been health hazards. Highly recommend and we will definitely go back for all our plumbing needs. They were excellent.
