Long Construction did an amazing job. The crew was on time, respectful, and the quality of the work came out great. Everything was done the way it was explained to me, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend them.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I moved into my home in Irondequoit, NY just under 5 years ago with what I thought was a brand-new roof. To my surprise, the roof started giving me issues with water leaks. When I had it inspected, I was shown multiple problems and realized I’d need to consider a full roof replacement.

I did my homework, researched the top roofing companies in Rochester, and received a few estimates. After comparing everything, I decided to go with Long Construction Rochester, New York—and I couldn’t be happier with that decision.

From start to finish, their attention to detail stood out. The inspection and estimate were clear and professional, and the work itself was completed with excellent workmanship. Matt guided me through the entire process and was outstanding to work with. Their slogan says it best: “Don’t go wrong, go with Long Construction.” After seeing the results on my home, I truly believe it.

My house looks amazing with the new roof, and I’m confident it’s built to last this time. I’ll absolutely be recommending Long Construction to friends and family. I wish I could give more stars 5++

They came and cleared my entire roof of snow, treated ice dams, cleared the walkways around the house, all within 24 hours of my call. Brian was great to work with, and came right out as soon as I called. He’s coming back tomorrow to check up on the progress of the ice removal. Highly recommend.

I cannot express how extremely satisfied I was with the installation of our new siding. Starting with Matt our sales person who was very easy and knowledgeable to work with to the project Manager Brandon and the crew Jamie. Justin, Nick and Shawn who all were great! I will use them for all my house projects. It nice to find a company that stands behind their work and is reasonably priced. Thank you guys and I will miss seeing you every day!

i can not rave enough about this Company! project manager Aaron is the best & all the guys over at long construction take pride in the work they do, had our roof replaced by them in December which was outstanding and needed some siding repaired in the back house, what an amazing job these guyes did! i'm telling you call then you will not be disapointed! thank you again!

We have used Long Construction 3 times now. We first chose them to replace our roof at our previous house. The crew worked tirelessly to get the install done in the timeframe needed. The install was perfect and they cleaned up so well you would never know that it was a full tear off!
When it came time to replace the roof, siding and gutters on our new home there was no question on who we would use. Mike the owner was on the job working with his crew and again the work was impeccable. They even installed the new outdoor lights we got!
On the office side Becky is incredibly easy to work with. With COVID we had several delays, but Becky contacted us and was informative and transparent so we never felt uneasy with what was happening. Anyone who is working with or getting estimates from companies for improvements will understand how important a quality this is. From estimates, to scheduling to completion Long Construction is the absolute best and easiest to work with. We will always use and recommend Long Construction!!

We had a great experience using Long Construction to install an Owens Corning roof. The salesman Brian assisted us with price tradeoffs as well as providing roof samples of our top four color choices. Brandon, the team leader for a crew of 9, kept us informed on the process and our roof for a 2 story colonial was installed in one long day. Very pleased with the install and full cleanup by the crew. The Williamsburg Gray roof shingles perfectly complements our light gray vinyl siding and wedgewood blue shutter color.

Sandy and I had the pleasure of having Long Construction repair our house after the hail storm that blew through Farmington. Firstly ,John Oliver was very instrumental in having all of our house siding replaced ( even though only 3 sides were damaged ). ( Who does that ? ) I reached out to John a few times to discuss different options/changes . He responded back almost immediately . Which brings me to the crews that came to do the repairs to my roof ,siding and front window . They were also very punctual and professional . During this complete remodel of my house , We were never guessing what was going to happen next .Matt Auble and crews both , brought to our attention hidden issues and informed us of the repairs during their time with us. We have had other construction companies work for us in the past . ( I still have nightmares !!) What a relief to have the good guys show up this time !!! The crew was very professional, efficient and cleaned up all the mess. Every time I spoke to Brandon he was very polite and seemed like my question was very important to him. They even made sure I could take my dogs outside for potty time safely. The office staff is very nice and understanding. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

A hail storm hit our neighborhood in the summer of 2024. Our house was significantly damaged. The day after the storm I spoke with Donnie at Long Construction. He was working another job in the neighborhood and stopped to answer my questions. I told him that I was a novice when it came to dealing with home repairs and insurance claims. Donnie immediately put my mind at ease. He said that they have specialists that deal with the insurance company so that I don’t have to. He also told me that Long Construction would also inspect our home from top to bottom to make sure that everything that was damaged was repaired in full and nothing was missed.

I then met with John. John is their insurance specialist and truly a guardian angel. John’s job is to make sure that if a repair is covered under your policy, that the insurance company pay it out. To give you an example, initially the insurance company was only willing to replace half our roof, wanted to “patch work” our siding, and was only willing to pay $50 toward a new garage door. John worked night and day to fight for us. When he got done, our roof was fully replaced, the garage door was fully covered, and all siding was replaced. Again, this was because of John’s hard work. If I would tried to work with the insurance company myself, I likely would have never gotten the same results and would have had a much higher out of pocket cost.

The work on the home went well. The roof was fully replaced in one day. The siding took a few weeks. Now, I will point out that no job (construction related) ever goes perfectly smooth. At one point, one of the workers while replacing the siding, damaged some of the shingles on our brand new roof. Mike Long (the owner and always made himself available to talk with us at any time) took full responsibility and had the roof repaired ASAP.

I will also point out that we worked with many other’s at the company that I am forgetting to thank, but everyone there is fantastic to work with. We are extremely satisfied with the work done on our home and service Long Construction provided and we will be using them again. If you need work done on your home, you simply must choose Long Construction.

Brandon from Long Construction was dispatched to our home today. Water leak issue. Brandon was prompt, courteous, communicative, and thorough in finding the root cause. Work still to be done to remediate. But thoroughly impressed so far with Brandon’s professionalism and friendliness. Nice to work with such engaging and competent folks. Not always a given in this hectic world! Looking forward to completing the remediation with Brandon and Long Construction.

If you are looking for a company with old fashioned values I highly recommend Long Construction. They take pride in their work and how they treat their customers. They are all friendly, respectful, knowledgable and polite. The quality of their work is top notch and the pricing is competitive. They communicated with me throughout the job and explained everything they did in layman terms. I hired them for a new roof, gutters and wrapping the fascia and soffits in aluminum. I had one concern after completion. High winds were causing a downspout to rattle. I called them and the showed up the next day to stop the rattling. The. Project was done quickly and the cleanup was fantastic. I have not found a single nail on the ground! I will definitely use Long Construction in the future and I will recommend them to my family and friends.

Long Construction responded quickly and did an excellent job on my roof repair. I never did any business with them before but they will be my 1st call. I will also recommend them to all my friends. Very glad to know I can count on them.

I called and spoke with a young lady named Felicia. She was so lovely and a joy to speak with. We were looking for information on ice dams and snow removal. She was very knowledgeable and her customer service was amazing. Will definitely be using your services!

Long Construction did a great job for us! We had an ice damming issue over the weekend and it was getting worse. Water was leaking into our house in Webster. They were very responsive and professional. Their team diagnosed the issue quickly. They removed the snow and ice in the affected areas on the roof and fixed the problem on a Sunday morning while snow continued to fall. They were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We experienced roof damage from wind on Halloween night. Without prior knowledge, we contacted Long Construction. John, Brandon, and Mike contacted us within the hour, and they were highly professional and efficient. Since this needed to be quick, they did everything possible, weather permitting, to install a new roof for us. We strongly recommend Long Construction and their entire team for their honesty, professionalism, hard work, cleanup, and communication.

We had Long put in a roof at our last house about 6 yrs ago & they were great so we hired them again to put in a new roof in our current home. Aaron is the guy we’ve been communicating with today on our current house while they were installing & I’ve never in my life have met someone who cared this much about their crew, their customer & just people in general. Just an all around great guy and Long is very blessed to have Aaron work for them! We’ve NEVER experienced anything negative with Long construction and that’s hard to come by these days. Very reasonable pricing & their employees work very hard.
