Finding the right contractor for my bathroom remodel was a daunting task for a first timer. Family recommended calling American Custom.. the rest was history. Everyone could not have been nicer and very prompt in responding to my questions and concerns. They were not the lowest estimate but from the very first minute I met Steve I knew I wanted to work with him. Bathroom is the best room in my house to date. 10/10 Thanks to Steve. Larry. We recently had severe damage done to our house due to high winds. American Custom Exteriors was highly recommended by several people so an appointment was scheduled. We had the pleasure of working with Kevin. He was professional and quickly acted due to the safety concerns of our living conditions. Great communication skills were exhibited throughout the renovation. The work crew that came out were exceptional. They were professional and had an amazing work ethic. Each day they were on time, and cleaned up immaculately. We highly recommend American Custom Exteriors.

Hi, For 20 years we have said we were gonna have our roof done and we just put it off because it was such a big and time consuming (we thought) process, but we recently had a quote from Kevin Mondschein at American Custom Exteriors and decide to take a chance. He was very knowledgeable about the product and timetable. He gave us a good estimate and so we had it done! The roofing crew was her while I was at work, early one morning. Came home for lunch to a respectful group of workers and noted the extra steps taken to protect our landscaping and deck. Went back to work and when I returned home, the project was complete! It was a pleasure to have this project done with American Customs!

Last year we had American Custom update our home with a new roof, new siding and new double front doors. From beginning to end of job we could not have been more pleased with the high quality workmanship and expertise of each work crew. They treated us like family and our home, as if it were their own. Daily cleanup was impeccable! In our preliminary meetings with Mark ideas on details were offered which made the finished job look amazing. Even the office staff were awesome to work with by keeping us informed on each part of the project. We have recommended American Custom to our friends and neighbors. Thanks to American Custom our house looks like new again.

I rarely write reviews unless my experience is either awful or AWESOME and my experiences with ACE has been, and continues to be, AWESOME!

First up is Kevin, their sales rep. He is thoroughly engaging and ... Fun! He never hesitates to jump right up on the roof to thoroughly check things out. (He's even effected a couple minor repairs while he's up there.)

We've used ACE for roofing repairs, siding repairs and even a complete re-roof. For the re-roof Kevin went over several options complete with costs and benefits. And then he showed his artistic side as he went over colors and textures that would best compliment the rest of the house and hardscape. Our house is special to us and he treated it as such.

One time while we were talking my wife mentioned to Kevin how the existing siding looked "unfinished". Kevin looked it over and suggested a few minor changes such as shutters, "eye brows" and the like. We signed on and my wife was thrilled.

The team that actually does the work was polite, friendly, competent and thoroughly focused on the job. The re-roof was completed in just one day including clean up.

Anyway, during last week's rain storm our front gutters pulled away from the house so we called Kevin. He came out that day, re-attached the gutters and offered some suggestions. I said, "You're hired, give us a quote". He said he'd love to but ACE doesn't do gutters (and he gave me a referral). And I'm like "You came all the way out and even effected an emergency repair knowing that there was no money in it for you?"

He smiled and said, "Of course. Why wouldn't I?"

We have used American Custom Exteriors and Interiors several times since we had moved into our house 10 years ago. They were highly recommended to us by the realtor and have been VERY impressed with their work ethic, quality of work and value. We have used their services for replacing the majority of the windows in our house as well as adding a huge picture window. Our latest job was for a master bathroom remodel. The staff who showed up to do this work were exceptional. They really knew their stuff and did an amazing job. It turned out better than we had imagined and everything was perfectly done. Any questions which we had were happily answered by the onsite staff. They took time each step of the way to tell us what they would be doing next and how long it should take to complete.
We definitely plan to use American Custom Exteriors and Interiors for all of our home projects.

I have to admit, I have had really bad experiences in the past with projects to my home from other contractors. I decided to redo my master bathroom gutted and redone; I knew this was going to be a huge job. I decided to contact American Custom Exterior since they were highly recommended by a friend of mine. I have to say, I was definitely not disappointed. American Custom Exterior did a phenomenal job!!! They were courteous, kept me informed on everything and had overall great energy. I have already discussed having other projects done with these guys in the near future. For those who are looking for a project to be completed, I highly recommend these guys. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

On 12/29/23 I agreed with American Customs Inc. on a projected price and was promised it would not to exceed 15% of $95,000. I paid $4,500 to get the project started. I was told not to worry and that we would not go over the projected price. I waited over 8 months and was told $115,000 and I agreed on the $115,000 the very next day given a bill of $129,000 1 week before we were going to start the build and was told the price will now be $129,000 and we are now not including the options that we agreed on originally agreed on (flooring included, matching exterior siding ect). When I questioned the price I was ignored or blown off then finally received a call after family member called a friend who works there. I was called back finally by an owner who said he will find out what happened and never called me back. I called the sales rep 2 weeks later who started the agreement with and was told that they will no longer be doing the project and will be keeping my money and sent me a false breakdown charging me for workers who were at my house for 15-20min (literally cut 2ft x2ft a hole in interior drywall only which took 15-20min) to look in the wall and charged for 4 hours for 2 workers ($1,200 for a hole in the wall that they never even vacuumed when they left). The hole is still in my wall and never fixed it. I called the main office and no calls were ever returned to me. I am disputing this charge of $4,500 because I feel scammed. I was given a price, the contractor no longer wanted to take on the project and they kept my money. I was pushing for 8 months to get started and they were too busy for my project so they hiked up the price to get rid of me. The business never tried to fix the problem. They just made a false bill and never called back.

Love love American Custom! We had them do windows in our house several years ago and when it was time to have some siding repair done, they were the first ones we called. Marc, Larry and the entire team are fantastic! They are professional, clean and fast!

American Custom’s quality is 2nd to none. The entire team is great and we will be using them again on future home projects.

Start to Finish - Our experience with Kevin Mondschein (Sales Associate) and the entire roofing crew was completely positive. We had our roof replaced after some storm damage. Kevin worked along with our insurance company to make the claim process extremely easy. The office staff were extremely efficient with the scheduling process and kept us informed about weather delays, material delivery, etc. The roofing crew did a complete tear off, repair and new roof all in one day! The clean-up was done by the time we got home from work and our yard was left absolutely clean of any debris! Our new roof looks amazing and we so appreciated how quickly the work was scheduled and completed! We highly recommend American Custom Exteriors!

My living/dining room conversion to primary suite with a 4 piece ensuite began with an estimate done by Steve G. His friendliness and professionalism (through all of my layout changes, etc) were the two main reasons why I chose ACE to complete my project. Steve estimated that my project would begin in Sept/Oct, but it actually started in late November of 2025. I was allowed to design my primary suite from the layout to choosing my light fixtures, vanity, toilet, tub, shower tiles, and all accessories, which I loved doing. Sage and Brian were assigned to complete my project. They arrived everyday by 8 am and stayed until roughly 4 pm; there was NEVER a day that either one or both of them didn't show up. They were respectful, friendly, and their craftsmanship was top notch. I was made aware of how much my change orders would cost in wrting so there were no surprises. By the end of the project the entire team (Steve, Sage, Brian, etc) felt like family. My dream primary bedroom with an ensuite was well worth the wait and price! My ensuite looks and feels like a spa and all that have viewed it in person are amazed at the transition and want to stay. I highly recommend ACE for your next project. I wish that I could post a picture too.

We had 4 estimates for our roof. We decided to go with American Customs because of recommendations from friends. We couldn't have been more pleased. From the office, to Kevin, to the work staff. Everyone was always there to answer our questions! The roofing crew did a complete tear off. Everything was done in one day. Our yard was left perfect with no debris. Our neighbors commented how fast and how great our roof looks. We would call American Custom again for other work.

Am. Custom has done several projects for me: interior 4 bedrooms to 3; vinyl siding, windows & doors, garage addition, sun room addition, and recently (7/27) installation of a bay window.
The workmanship is excellent, quality of materials excellent and priced similar to other estimates.

American Custom Exteriors did an excellent job putting a new roof on my house a few years ago. They also stand behind their work and will come out promptly if you have any concerns after a particularly brutal winter or storm. Plus they are extremely nice people to work with!! Five stars for sure!

We had American Custom do a very large project for us, renovating the entire first floor, as well as new windows, doors and siding. Steve was fantastic to work with in putting the project together. We had a tight timeline due to an upcoming birth and they were able to meet it for us. The interior team, headed by Juan and including Sage and Brian, was incredible and always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and the work was done right. The window and door team of Mike and Mike were also amazing at their craft. I would definitely recommend American Custom.

These have been my go to for almost 20 years. Roof, all new windows in two sessions. All great work! Just had a minor issue with a window they installed over 10 years ago, and they showed up quickly to put it in order! Highly recommended !

We had an extensive remodel done by American Custom that included an addition, a rebuild of both a back and front porches, siding the house and garage, a new main bathroom, and a remodeled bedroom. This project took approximately 7 months and through this whole process America Custom was wonderful. Kevin Goodwine was very helpful as the project manager and the varying crews were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. We worked with an architect through American Custom to design the addition and front porch and American Custom delivered on the plans we dreamed up. We came out on time and on budget. We are very satisfied with our home!! We will be calling American Custom for future remodeling projects.

We had our house sided by American Custom Exteriors. It was a great experience for us. They did a great job and we've had many compliments on how our house looks now. They met with us every morning and evening to status us on the day's work. Everything was cleaned up every night. I've recommended American to friends and family and will continue in the future.

We had our roof done today by American and it was an absolutely seamless process! From the day we reached out, met with Kevin and completion of two layer tear off, new skylights and new roof- we are so impressed with communication, work ethic, care for our property throughout project and final clean up! Thank you Kevin, roofing crew and office staff- you made this project so easy on us!

Wish I could rate 10 STARS! American Custom was recommended to me by another siding contractor (believe it or not). After I called, it was only a matter of days before the Account Executive, Kevin M., came out to see me and discuss my project. I had already spoken with three other contractors. Kevin was the only one to ask me to walk him around the house and look at the existing siding. He asked me questions about what I wanted, what my concerns were, and listened to my answers. He showed me some options for siding and colors - we even talked about our mutual love of dogs! - and he said he'd be back in touch. Within a week, he called again and asked to come back out to present his proposal. NONE of the other contractors had bothered to do that in person - just sent an estimate, lump sum, with no itemization of what they would do, what was included, what I was getting, etc. ONLY American Custom took the time to carefully go over the estimate, again listening to my concerns, and finding the best solution for my budget. They were not the lowest estimate, but they were not the highest. They were also about $5000 above my budget - but they offered financing, at a competitively low 5.99% APR, which none of the other contractors did. They do not take a down payment - like the others insisted. All payment is collected after the job is complete. The sales team even warned me about this deceptive contracting practice - NO ONE should EVER be expected to pay up front, for a legitimate contracting job. An important lesson I can apply to all future jobs ...! They offered proof of insurance and indemnification from liability in case of an accident on the job - unlike any of the others. They provided a detailed written contract - again, taking the time to walk me through it and answer all my questions and concerns. When it came time for the job, I lucked out when they had an opening, and my siding was done about 4 weeks ahead of estimated start time. The crew foreman, Nick, and his team of installers were brilliant. They started each day around 7 am and wrapped up around 4 pm each afternoon. Every day they cleaned up the yard, swept out the garage, and even raked the flower beds where dust and debris had fallen during the course of work. Courteous, polite, respectful, fun and friendly, these guys were a true team of professionals. They also took the time to explain additional repairs and associated costs (I had some serious wood rot they discovered, in some places, which we had anticipated during the sales/estimate phase, so that was no surprise). The job was finished within 5 days, except the shutters (which came in about 2-3 days later) and the gutters (which followed about a week later). Now the project is complete and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend American Custom contractors, and plan to call them in for some interior work in the future.
