Thank you for not only installing my tv, but FINDING a broken dimmer switch, an outside socket that needed covering AND installing a whole house surge protector - I’m glad they brought those to my attention - all this from a tv install request :)

The owner himself came to our appointment for an emergency leak out of our air conditioner. He stayed two plus hours until he found the issue and resolved it!

We are pleased and impressed with the electricians that came to update and untangle the wiring in our newly purchased 1954 home. Joe Russo came to walk through our home and provide estimates for the work that we wanted done. We had a crew of electricians come for 3+ days. This included return trips for quirky circuitry which is now fully remedied.

We love having ceiling lights in 2 bedrooms and updated, grounded outlets. Our basement was particularly dark, with lighting that was barely functioning. The workshop area is now brightly lit with LED overhead strips and separate outlets at the work bench. My husband is thrilled to have such a pleasant place to putter in.

We also chose to purchase their Electrical Safety & Savings Membership Plan which will keep us well served for the next 12 months.

I have worked with Dr. Electric and Upstate Air for a few years now. Their technicians are always professional and knowledgeable. Most recently Matt replaced my HVAC unit. Matt explained everything to me when he came to provide me a quote and worked to get me a unit that would fit with the set up I currently have. Matt was very thorough when it came to the installation and everything is running smoothly and the house is now cool and comfortable. I will continue to use Dr. Electric and Upstate Air in the future!

Dr. Electric is my go to place for anything electric. The people are pleasant and very helpful. Joe was out today to do my yearly check up and he was great. I trust Dr. Electric with all my electrical needs.

My husband and I recently bought our first home—our forever home—and unfortunately, the company that handled the previous renovations did not do the electrical work correctly. We were honestly stressed and unsure of where to turn, until we found Joe and his team at Doctor Electric.

From the start, they were incredibly professional, responsive, and thorough. They walked through the entire house, checked every single area, and discovered a lot of wiring that wasn’t up to code and, more importantly, not safe. They explained everything to us in detail, answered all our questions, and made sure we understood exactly what needed to be fixed and why.

Now, we feel so much better knowing everything is safe and up to standard. On top of that, they offered financing, a warranty, and a discount on the work—which made the decision even easier.

Dan came for a saftey inspection was incredibly patient and polite and help us diagnose issues in our house.

Dan on phone contact was great..understood my problem..Sid electrician came n explained thoughly the job the estimate Procedure...he was great on explaining everything he did step by step.i cant say enough on how great communication he had with the problem..it was a great experience having Sid to the job

This survey came from Mr Electric and not Upstate Air. Since Matt was included on the site, I decided to go ahead and use it but FYI...It is confusing. If Matt hadn't deserved such a rave review, I probably would have skipped it. Also a previous review from Mr Electric for Dan is still on this page so I hope these reviews are acknowledged.

From Mr Electric: Dan was punctual, very friendly and knowledgeable. He made a recommendation for a surge protector for which we are awaiting an estimate.

Dan was very personable and efficient. He was able to find the problem and fix it in a surprisingly short time where 2 others had been unsuccesful.

This was the first time we contracted with Upstate Air to service our standby generator and we are completely satisfied. Matt Coccia was awesome! Our generator was very dirty with lots of caked on dirt. He cleaned the entire unit until it looked like new. He explained the benefits of directing grass clippings away from the unit. He performed a comprehensive tuneup including replacing the battery. We highly recommend this company.

I have used Dr. Electric and Upstate Air for over 10 years. Electricians, Joe and Dan, were very knowledgeable and helpful. Recently, I had problems with my wiring throughout many outlets and switches discovered during a renovation. They came out quickly and worked efficiently and as a team to diagnose and fix the faulty wiring. They worked tirelessly for hours and now I feel safe again in my home. The work done by Mike and his assistant was not an easy one, from getting under crawl space feed the wire to the installation, they work hard but kept their professionalism at its best. From the start to finish all task was completed on a timely manner and kept the space clean. Tru professionals.
