Charles and his colleague Chris were listened to all of my concerns, were highly professional and thorough, and extremely knowledgable about not only my current issue, but other potential items we could later address.

Hired Kenny Lanza/Great Lights Electric to rewire my house and garage. Not only did he botch much of the job, but never finished it, promising to do so and not show up! Furthermore, the garage was so improperly done, it could have caused electrocution or a fire! He also put in the wrong breakers into the panel, instead of what was according to code and kept about $1,700 for himself! His team would show up without him and ask me what they were supposed to do! They were supposed to know. A year after hiring him, I finally fired him and hired someone else. It cost me about $5,300 to fix what he screwed up. I took him to Small Claims Court and the Judge ruled in my favor. He appealed and I am awaiting the Judgment from Monroe County Court, too.

October 13, 2023 Follow up on my Complaint which Kenny Lanza appealed after receiving a Judgment against him in Small Claims Court... Two full days of testimony were heard before Judge Maida Dixon in Monroe Court and Kenny Lanza, d/b/a Great Lights Electric was found guilty and ordered to pay $5,000! Guess you can't fool everyone, Kenny! Time to pay up!

They were fast and efficient. They did Great work and would refer Great Lights Electric to any and everyone.. Oh and Neil is the man lol Felt like my best friend provided the service!!

Great, courteous and reasonably priced. I had called them to have two outlets installed in my garage for my new plugin hybrid car. Ken was able to suggest the most cost effective way of doing it. When I wasn’t sure about what amperage line to have put in, I had to call the car dealership and wait for the salesperson to get back to me. While we were waiting, Ken took the initiative to call someone he knew that would know, so we had the answer before I even heard back from the dealership. At the end of the job, everything was put back into its proper place and the garage cleaned up. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.

I made a call to Great Lights Electric. I can not say enough good things about them. Even though they already had a job lined up, I called and explained I needed work done on some outlets that were not working. They sent Charles to look at the problem. He was awesome. So nice, kind, and really knew exactly what he was doing. He managed to fix the problem within a short time. I will continue to use them in the future for any electrical problems that may arise.
