First time using. Arrived within 20 minutes of calling. Very professional and friendly. They kept me informed of the work being performed during the entire service call. Would definitely use them again.

Devon and Dylan installed a heat cable on my roof and in my gutters. They arrived on time and finished earlier than anticipated. They took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. I am very pleased with their work.
They explained all of the pricing and their service program which the person who gave me the estimate did not do.

Matt went above and beyond servicing my HVAC. He explained everything he did and was very thorough. He even checked items I asked about that weren’t part of the inspection. I highly recommend him and Upstate Air Heating & Cooling!

Woke up to power issues that had both my internet and kitchen out of commission. Happily my phone call was returned promptly and they got me back up and running same day. I appreciated the prompt service and explanations provided through the service.

Had some electrical issues. Called and they had a tech (Sid) at my residence the same day. (Infact within 2 hours) Sid diagnosed the problem, explained the issue to me and why it became an issue and then fixed the problem. Sid was very professional, courteous and informative. I will definitely use them again for any future electrical needs.

Service with Dr.Electric/Upstate Air is always excellent. Great communication, on time, answer any questions. Matt and Mike are very friendly and hard working…and so nice to my dogs!

Their advertisement says 24hr emergency service. Nope. I called with a possible dangerous electrical problem at night. First I get sort of an answering service and was told they'd contact the electrician and he'd get "right back" to me. An hour later, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called back. Was told they'd contact the electrician again. Shortly after that, I get a text saying, "Unfortunately we don't have any availability tonight." That's it - nothing about when they could come, and no questions about what the emergency was. I texted back asking when they could come, and got what amounted to a "maybe" sometime tomorrow. No other follow up for 3 days. Three days later, I get a phone message saying to call if I still needed an electrician. Nope. I found someone who actually means it when they say 24 hr emergency service, and who fixed the problem quickly. No, I cannot recommend Dr. Electric, and I will never call them for service. I found someone honest, reliable and who gives excellent service.

Could not be happier with Doctor Electrics team and service today. I am responsible for over 100 luxury homes all over western NY and have the need to deal with different electricians on a regular basis. Right from my initial call with Dan in the office to the service work with Joe on site, I have never had such a thorough and professional experience in a long time. Han got Joe to arrive on site on the same day. Joe did total inspection of the electrical components of the home and resolved my current issue in about an hour. He then went above and beyond by checking the standby generator and made suggestions for future scheduled services to ensure system was operating properly. Then I got a very reasonable invoice with very clear description of services performed along with pictures. Wow.
Wish all of my dozens of venders and contractors were this organized and through.

Really appreciating the year round plan that I have with Upstate Air and Dr Electric --- they do amazing work and have helped us make our HVAC system safer and more efficient! Matt is our regular tech, and goes above and beyond to address all concerns--- he is awesome!! Highly recommend.

They were quick to respond to my call and set up appointment on the same day. The electrician they sent was very pleasant to work with. He presented me with two options after service evaluation; labor and parts or just labor. I ended up choosing the latter option because it would be cheaper if I purchased the parts myself and have them just install them. I would definitely work with them again.

The meet was very nice and trusting, He was very educated and honest. The service was respectful and trusting again, To get a service that is honest and trustworthy means alot, He did great work fixed the problem and I was truly satisfied. Joe did an excellent job helping me with a tricky situation. He was able to answer all of my questions and came up with a solution for my wiring issue. Dylan and Sedin were both friendly and professional. After dealing with flaky electricians in the past, I am very happy with the work and communication from their team. Doctor Electric will be my go to company for my future electrical needs!

They did a fast great accurate job at diagnosing. The problem finding what's wrong and giving me solutions on how to address it . I would 100% recommend, especially if you've already called several places like I did and weren't even given the time of day And the technician they sent out was friendly. Sid provided excellent service. He made sure I understood all the recommended repairs and provided me with quotes for each individual repair so I could choose which ones to prioritize. He worked quickly and efficiently and left his workspaces immaculate. I am extremely happy with his level of professionalism and attention to detail and I am glad I decided to go with Doctor Electric for my electrical work.

I really am happy with the work done by Devon and Doctor Electric. He really did an amazing job and spent time to make sure everything was working properly. My house is old and some of the wiring was a little wonky - to say the least - and Devon put in a lot of time and energy to get it all working the way it's supposed to. A++++++ and a big thumbs up.

I had a generator interlock, new subpanel, and an external power inlet box installed. The entire process with Doctor Electric was very responsive, detailed and thorough, and upfront with no surprises. Joe was excellent, explained everything that he and Dylan were doing, and answered all of my questions. I strongly recommend Doctor Electric.

Friday 2-06-26 : Matt Coccia electric service tech provided very friendly, timely, efficient service, explaining how he was diagnosing the problem and what repairs he selected.
My furnace is back up and running just in time for the artic blast. I have always had very good service interactions with Dr Electric.
