Buffalo Energy has just completed work at both my home and condo and they were professional and incredibly respectful and skilled. It is reassuring to deal with professionals ---Shawn, Mike (project manager) and their skilled technicians, Eric, Gary, Elliot, Matt, Dan who exemplify excellence. I would highly recommend this company for their "old school ways" of making sure that the customer is not only informed, but respected and acknowledged. They do a darn great job and their cleanup is wonderful.....

Evan H. has been a fantastic source for us to enjoy significant energy savings in our older home. He was a real pleasure to work with and all of the folks he brought in to do the upgrades were also excellent workers.

I had an amazing experience dealing with Evan Hichernell, Energy Consultant with Hughesco Of Rochester. Evan was very knowledgeable, he has a great personality and made the entire paperwork process and work being completed on my home completely non stressful.
Evan took the time to explain every step of the process, what is expected of me and them. He made sure if there were any concerns, he immediately handled it.
The work completed installing my energy efficient furnaces and central air by Orest, Nick and Issac was done professionally and effectively. This is the first time in all my years living in my home that I can actually feel the heat from my furnace and my home no longer feels like a refrigerator.

We made an appt with hughesco not knowing really what to expect. Our rep Justin Rawnsley showed up on time and was super informative. He explained what the program was about and educated us as to what kind of home improvements would benefit us. It super easy and helpful. I have had work done under the direction of Justin Rawnsley and he was absolutely wonderful. The jobs performed were of the utmost quality and I am exceptionally pleased with the outcome of each project. Over the past year I’ve tackled several issues and upgrades in my home. First a hot water heater and furnace upgrade, soon after that my outdated A/C unit quit working and then those resolutions were followed by a necessary electrical box upgrade. It felt like a lot to handle but each time I had an issue Evan from Hughesco made himself available to answer my questions and concerns and set up the fix. He stopped by to check things out ahead of jobs to make sure everything was ready (going so far as offering an assist with some preparations I was responsible for) All of the guys who came into my home during each job were professional and kind and cleaned up after themselves inside and outside. Let👏🏽me 👏🏽 tell 👏🏽 ya’ll. If you’re on the fence about using this company for air sealing and insulation, jump off & do it already. I decided to use Hughesco as a contractor after signing up for NYSERDA’s home energy efficiency grant (highly recommend you do this- even working people with significant income will qualify for SOME grant $). After being quoted over $3K by a different company 😒, Sam from Hughesco came over, did some preliminary assessments, & quoted me a fraction of what the other company was charging. I was skeptical, but he maintained contact & was good about answering my questions. Day of reckoning came last Wednesday. Darryl & Isaac came over to do the work. Isaac was extremely friendly and relatable. Darryl was a consummate professional, soft spoken and an EXTREMELY hard worker- he was non-stop from the moment he came in. They were both mindful of my brand new floors and worked up quite the sweat. Work took less than 3 hours- air sealed attic and basement. I was still skeptical. Fast forward to Saturday. First near-90 degree day since air sealing. Ummm…my air conditioner wasn’t even needed. Had it set to 78, but it never come on. I was shocked. This house (3 story) used to be the same temperature inside as it was outside at all times. HORRIBLY uncomfortable & made me question my purchase of the home. The wall of heat that used to hit me as soon as I got upstairs? GONE. The sweltering basement? GONE. Even my NON-insulated garage below my bedroom is about 7 degrees cooler than it usually is. Today is over 90, and for the first time ever, setting my AC temp to 78 is keeping me cool. I hope & pray these results are similar (inversely) in winter. Best $ I ever spent on the house, zero regrets. Thank you Hughesco!!

I am not only giving Evan Hickernell five stars but if I could, I’d give him 100. He was very professional. He let me know everything that he could do for me kept me updated and when it would be done and followed through as the work was being done, he deserves a huge raise. Also, the men that came out to do the work did an awesome job. I highly recommend this company and the workers. They are very professional and clean up after themselves.

We even ran into a hiccup after an install and when i called Evan he was over our house within 20 minutes. He was very caring and worked hard to resolve the issue. Hughesco of Rochester Ny, installers very professional and friendly. They installed my furnace and hot water heater. The installation was done in one day . Justin the customer service representative was available to answer any questions or concerns. Justin was very efficient and helpful for me to navigate the process.

Hughesco does great work. Have had 3 different jobs done. The guys that did insulation, furnace and electrical box, were friendly and showed me what they were doing. The salesman, Justin and Sam, made sure to keep me updated and make sure I was satisfied with the work done. 🌟

The employees from Hughesco did a great job. They were professional, showed respect and care for my property. They covered every nook and cranny with insulation in crawl spaces, even insulated around top wall of basement. When finished they showed pictures to me of work they did which were impressive. Hardly had to lift a finger with Evan and his team at Hughesco. Effective and efficient assessments and recommendations.

After the first of several upgrades we noticed a huge difference in our heating efficiency, so much so we had to adjust our heating thermostat down 3°. In addition to the numerous upgrades, Evan’s knowledge solved a 39 year old dust problem on our 2nd floor, that has since been resolved.

I highly recommend Hughesco to my friends and family. In fact I already need more business cards for my referrals. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Evan was amazing! He is very personable and professional. Always available when I called or texted him with a question.
He educated us on the energy efficiency that was needed in our house. Made suggestions to improve it and then worked diligently to line up the work in a timeframe that meet our needs. I have recommended him to my family and friends.

Terrible customer service. I never even got an estimate. They spelled my name wrong and Evan got upset because I asked for it to be fixed he refused to work with me anymore.

We have used Justin at Hughesco four differnt time and have been pleased with the outcome at each.
We have also recommended Justin to our neighbors who were pleased and thanked us for doing so.
The men that did the work were skilled, professional and polite. I could say that we would have no problem using them again, but we already have!
