Roto Rooter came at midnight on a Sunday to help me with my overflowing sewer trap. They completely cleaned and totally sanitized my entire basement. It’s so clean! They threw out everything that had been ruined and came the next day with fans and a complete line inspection, just to make sure all was well. Great guys. Compassionate. So highly recommend.

I called Roto rooter in a pinch when I was having issues at my home a few days after Christmas. I was surprised when they were able to send a tech out same day within 2 hours of me calling. I called at 4pm and the tech arrived around 6/630pm. My techs name was Gage. He went above and beyond helping me troubleshoot step by step. He offered out of the box solutions and was extremely patient as he explained why he did each step. 5 stars because his customer service was top notch. He should be accelerated through the company. Shout out to Steve as well who helped run the camera scope through the system and further locate our issue. He was great.

Very happy with today’s service! Arrived quickly got right to work. Fixed the problem in less than an hour. We are always thankful for their professionalism! Great job!

Scheduling was easy and simple. I was able to get an appointment for the next day in the evening. The appointment was for 6-8pm, Tafari arrived well before then. Extremely professional, he even had on shoe covers as to not dirty my floors. Thank you

The plumbing technician, Agon who came to fix the issue was efficient, resourceful and clean. We had a broken kitchen drain behind the trap. We thought it would be a big job but Agon, part of the white plains office was so skilled he handled it with so much care and fixed the issue. So grateful for him. Other plumbers quoted five times the cost of what Rotorooter quoted. Definitely grateful during the holiday season when we were dreading a big expense. Thanks guys! Will definitely recommend them.

We needed urgent service on a Saturday and they sent out Joe within 1.5 hours!! We were so appreciative!Joe was able to fix the washer valves which were old and corroded. He assessed other pipes which we had a lot of trouble with freezing in the winter. He did a really nice job covering the pipes with insulation, which we greatly appreciated. Our main sewer line had not been checked in quite awhile and he snaked it and flushed it out. He was very friendly, professional and competent. We will definitely call on this company again.

Ivan did a superb job. He solved a long standing problem of a running toilet in my 93 year old house. This involved finding the correct part and making sure that it worked. He did not give up until he had located the part, installed it, and made certain that it worked properly. Another plumber had tried and failed to fix this problem. Great job, Ivan!
Update: July-August 2025: Pedro did a great job on two occasions. He is competent, helpful, and super-conscientious about making sure that the job is done right.

The technician I worked with was Elvin Gonzalez. His work was excellent. RR came very quickly after I called with an emergency clog. Elvin was thorough, and was very careful to not carry any mess through my house. He took extra care to keep his work space clean after what was naturally a dirty job to work through. I tend not to leave reviews, as I am not one who generally reads them. However, I believe it is important to acknowledge unexpected experiences that others may find useful. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter. The on-line scheduling was the easiest and most flexible I have ever experienced. The follow up email and phone call were timely and informative. Even the company's prompt response to feedback I had submitted on the company's website was impressive. The technician was prompt and pleasant. He provided answers to every question. Most impressive is that the company doesn't upcharge for weekend service! And there's a free estimate, no driver fee, and no pressure or commitment to agree to the service! I had wanted to give our business to a local plumber or a mom and pop plumbing company. This experience with Roto-Rooter felt like we were doing business with a mom and pop business and that felt wicked good to me! For any future plumbing issues, we'll only be calling Roto-Rooter.

We were lucky that Roto-Rooter was willing to come when the main sewer pipe froze during extreme cold.

And we were really lucky when they dispatched Miguel to our home. Despite the weather and having to work outside, he jumped right in to the situation, unclogged the frozen sewer pipe and figured out a solution.

He made sure the problems inside the house were fixed and was careful to keep the place clean.

I wish I could rate him 6 stars.

I was very pleased with Miguel! He not only fixed my plumbing quickly but took the time to explain the problem and what he needed to do. Also, although the job itself was messy, he left the workspace very clean. I'd be happy to recommend him to friends and neighbors.

I filled out the online form to request assistance in getting a drain in my outside stairwell cleared. The technician arrived the same day. The technician clearly explained the service, pricing, process and next steps (if the drain would not clear). Also discussed the lower priced option. The technician was very thorough. Cleared out as much as he could by hand then ran the pressure hose. Also checked inside the house to see if there was an accessible trap. He cleaned out all mud from the stairwell when he was finished. I'm very happy with the service and feel reassured with the six month guarantee.

The outrageous price to install a kitchen faucet $622 and $579 to install a bathroom faucet is insane. With my “discount “ it cost $950. Not only that, the technician left shavings and dirt all over the bathroom floor. I wish I had told him to leave. I can’t imagine the cost if I hadn’t purchased the hardware. They also tried to leave with a part I bought that was not used. I thought I was dealing with a reputable company but boy was I wrong. And away goes your money down the drain.

Miguel and James were both great, they came to clear out a clog in my waste line and then run a camera down after to check it out. Only reason not 5 stars is year over year Roto-Rooter is getting more expensive but I’m still happy with the level of service and quick response in an emergency.

I called around 2pm and they offered same day service. I ended up rescheduling for the next day but the urgency was definitely appreciated. Henry arrived on time and was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would definitely ask for him the next time I need a plumber.

My septic was backed up, on a Saturday of course, and I called Roto Rooter. They had a guy, Ernesto, out to my house within 3 hours. Ernesto was kind courteous and worked till everything was cleared. He was excellent!

Richard came to help us with a clogged downspout. He was so patient. He was thorough in his explanation of what he was doing and what options we had to get to the issue. He cleared out the clogged pipe and also recognized that something else needed to be fixed to make it efficient and to avoid the same issue in the future. He was wonderful!

Joseph Technician #246 did an excellent job. We had multplumbing issues which he handled efficiently. He was very pleasant and made sure to go over the work and the costs. Would definitely use him again!
