John from Proflow did all the plumbing work at my house during my renovation. He did great work and provided me with different ideas such as a pot filler and cold/hot outdoor water bibs. I replaced my hot water heater with a wall hung combo unit(pic below), ran radiant heat, all new pvc and pex to replace the old lines, created a whole new basement bathroom with a stand up shower, etc

We discovered an intermittent leak in our toilet drain pipe but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from or replicate it ourselves. Tried one plumbing service who also couldn’t replicate the leak and instead suggested that we replace our entire pipe system, which would’ve been very costly! John did an excellent job creating an outflow junction in our home sewage outlet for the condenser of our newly installed heating and ac unit. I thought it was gonna take awhile and be a mess due to the complications of our basement setup but it looks great and he made it seem easy.

John did a terrific job for me extending gas line from my basement to first floor fireplace so that I could have a new gas insert installed. His work was meticulous and he was aware of the relevant gas regulations that he walked me thru and answered all my questions. As the photo shows the insert installation was successful and I have an amazing fireplace that I can’t wait to use in the winter thanks to him!

I subsequently also used him to install a new kitchen faucet and hot water dispenser and the work was completed without faults and on time.

We are so fortunate to have found John to help us maintain our century-old home after having mixed success with other plumbers. He is very detailed, knowledgeable and fair, and makes himself available by text or call. When we were having an issue, he kept brainstorming solutions even after he had left. John was fantastic. He responded immediately and he did not charge for the visit. He was at my house within 20 minutes of me calling him. He gave me a fair price for the shower repair and went to Home Depot to pick up the parts that were needed. I had a gas water heater installed by John from ProFlow Plumbing and Heating to replace one that I’ve had for about 18 years. I never drained my water heater as I should have in the entire 18 years and unfortunately the drain valve was clogged with a significant accumulation of mineral deposits (scale), sediment and sludge, which made it impossible to drain the water heater through the drain valve. Thankfully John was able to use a different method to drain the tank.

The next challenge was that my water heater could not be removed at all due to the tight space that
it was in (see picture). After some modifications, and some exertion, John was finally able to get the old water heater out. Once the water heater was removed John proceeded to install the new one (see picture). He provided all of the materials (pipes, fittings, etc.), and also modified/installed/improved the gas shutoff and water shutoff lever. John arrived promptly at the designated time that we had agreed upon, and despite the challenges he stuck with it until the job was completed. All the while he took the time to explain everything, shared helpful tips with me and when he was finished he went to every faucet in my home and cleared the air from the water lines.

In conclusion, John is courteous, punctual, professional, knowledgeable, thorough and reasonable. I will definitely call on John when I am in need of the services that he provides, and I highly recommend John/ProFlow for your plumbing needs.
