This is our second time scheduling work with AstroWatt and they didn’t disappoint. We had Alex as our electrician this time and he was great, very professional and knowledgeable. He found the problem and gave us the options. He completed the work fast and efficiently. He was kind and we had great conversation as he worked. The price was fair, they came the next day after we found the problem, came on time and were very knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely use them again and recommend them.

AstroWatt were great. From the initial inspection and quote from Colby, and then Grant and his team with the install, all of the guys were extremely polite and professional every step of the way. I called them and they came to do the inspection and qoute the very same day. They had the works started the very next morning which was a large 1.5 day project. This is the second time we've used AstroWatt for a range of services from outlet/switch upgrades to surge protector installation. They even hung our new doorbell! AstroWatt has been a pleasure to work with each time I’ve needed them for an electrical installation or repair at home. This latest time, Christian was a great help and got a new fan and a very tricky existing light fixture relocated for us. He stayed as long as it took for the light fixture and figured out a custom solution to get it hung and secure. Looks great and is a massive help since my wife and I had a lot of trouble with it on our own. He was super patient and very professional. Can’t recommend this company enough, some of the friendliest home improvement specialists I’ve interacted with as a home owner in Durham.

I was charging my car before a trip when my car detected an electrical fault and shut off. I went out to the garage and saw the outlet that was installed prior to my ownership of the house had exploded! Thankfully no damage outside of the outlet. I called AstroWatt based on great feedback from others in the community and scheduled them to come out as the next day. They would have even been out same day if we weren't away on the road trip!

In order to make sure nothing like this happened again I had AstroWatt look things over and give several recommendations. I ended up going with the safest option, an actual EV charger that was hardwired to the house vs a plug that could come lose.

AstroWatt planned out the whole job and even asked us what our starbucks order was and came back the next day first thing in the morning with coffee for us, a seriously nice touch and much needed as I'm not a morning person!

They were here most of the day as they had to do a bunch of rewiring to make sure the right wires were run to ensure nothing like this ever happened again. This included adding another electrical subpanel next to the meter to ensure we weren't overloading things. I also had them add a second plug right outside of the garage as we have a second EV that doesn't fit inside and this makes it easier then running a cable out the door when that car needs to charge.

Throughout the entire process the team kept me informed and were incredibly friendly. They did a stellar job and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.

It was easy to contact and speak with a real person at AstroWatt. We were able to schedule and receive same day service. The electrician was congenial, personable and communicated well with what process he would follow in providing the service to address the electrical issue. He was very thorough in his approach to diagnosing the problem. He proceeded to replace an old GFCI outlet and identified other outlets that needed attention. His work was excellent and he was detailed driven in making sure the work was done correctly the first time and would not require having to return multiple times to address the same problem. I would highly recommend AstroWatt and the electrician, Colby Humphries, who performed flawlessly.

So the folks at AstroWatt came to my house for what I thought was a simple issue that became a safety issue for my family and home. The team quickly defined a solution that involved Duke Energy and Chatham County and wired efficiently to define a timeline and solution. It was a large endeavor but was handled great from start to finish.

From start to finish, the technician (Colby) was courteous, knowledgeable and very informative. Our downstairs HVAC was not working due to some electrical issues and thanks to Colby the heat is working again! I would highly recommend this company. They managed to work me in on the same day I called. Kudos!!!! *****Alex did an amazing job! He was polite very detailed oriented and neat with clean up. This company picks up the phone when you call and that is a plus. Before I reached out to Astrowatt. I called three other companies and got voice mail and they called back 2-3 days later!!!

I had a great experience with AstroWatt Electric in North Carolina. The owner, Tom, is very kind and was able to schedule me for the very next morning.

I am sure all their technicians are excellent, but I was fortunate to work with Christian, and I hands down 1000% recommend him. He arrived on time (even on the early end of the arrival window), listened carefully to my concerns, explained the issue in detail, and suggested the best solution along with helpful recommendations for the future. He was never pushy and answered all of my questions patiently.

His work was top-notch. He wore shoe covers, cleaned up thoroughly by sweeping and vacuuming, and finished with a full walkthrough to review the completed work and answer any remaining questions.

The company also followed up afterward to make sure everything was good. I truly can’t complain about a single thing. I highly recommend AstroWatt Electric.

We were very impressed with the service we received from AstroWatt. While they did end up cutting a few more holes in the wall than planned, the service seems to have been successful. The plan for upgrades was given to us with options and full estimates for each level. While the price was more expensive than we had planned - we are happy with the quality and speed of execution. Mateo and Alex were fantastic to work with.

Outstanding work was done by the electrician staff at AstroWatt for our emergency service repair.
