Matt went above and beyond to fix my electrical issues. Replaced panel box and breakers in 50+ yr old home. Had some issues with outlets with new breakers being more sensitive. . He came on a Saturday to find the problem and fix it. Very polite and explained everything he did. Will use Local Choice again for any electrical work.

I had a light in the sunroom that was not working, Tim came out, figured out the issue, fixed it and that was that! Fantastic customer service and did a great job! I would use again and recommend to anyone!

Local Choice Electric performed all the electric work as we build out our 3rd floor. We were on a tight budget and they worked with us with on ideas to keep costs reasonable. They were on time and provided great communication throughout our project. Post rough-in we managed to staple a wire during insulation install, and they came right out (as we had an inspection scheduled) and addressed the issue that we created at no charge. When our drywall people walled over a couple outlets, Local Choice came right out again and helped us find and free the outlets. Great service and great communication. I would definitely recommend them and would definitely use Local Choice for future projects.

This was a very difficult solar system upgrade and battery install that had many highly technical requirements and they exceeded expectations in every way:
- The company was incredibly organized - great communication in scheduling, quoting, return calls, CRM tools.
- The installer, Matt, was extremely knowledgeable, meticulous, careful and even re-did old work that wasn't done right or aesthetic. He took the time to do things right, regardless of the challenges
- They stuck to the original quote, even though the job took much longer and more supplies than planned due to rain storms and enphase issues.
- They did everything to the latest code and even educated the city inspector

I've hired hundreds of professionals, but can genuinely say I have never been more impressed by any contractor.

Can’t complain at all! Tim arrived on-time, did a thorough evaluation, discussed my options with me then was able to not only get all the materials necessary, but he also got all the work done in the same day. We were lucky in that regard, of course. Especially since we decided to replace the entire, 35-year old breaker box instead of doing the one-off, temporary fix. This gave us total peace of mind that our house wouldn’t be burning down anytime soon due to a fix that was well within our control! Had we not, well, the melted circuit breakers in the old set-up might have caught us in our sleep. And we all know what that means… “family roasted in totally preventable house fire… film at 11.”

This week, one of our electric power outlets burn out, and Local Choice Electric came the same day after hours to fix it. Tim stayed late to check other outlets, ensuring everything was fixed and in working order. We felt the price was very reasonable for the amount of work done. They are very easy to work with.

Matt and his team did a new meter install for us on an existing outbuilding. Their price was extremely competitive and the work was top notch. I would highly recommend them

Your team is great. I will always use them all the time for anything that needs to be done around the house. They keep you informed and up-to-date on everything which is wonderful and I also have told my daughter about them and she used them too.

They saved me from me! I thought the installation of a Ring doorbell would be no problem until the tiny wires broke. Nelson and Matt showed up on time and problem solved to save me from having to rewire. They ran to get a part and still finished within my time slot. I highly recommend! Local Choice (Tim) installed two TVs- mounted with the outlets and cable chord moved behind the TVs, installed an outlet in the floor under my couch, and another outlet in my bathroom. Tim was very knowledgeable and took great care with each job. He made sure to clean things up better than before he even got here!

A man named Nelson came out to my house answered my questions and looked into the problem we were experiencing with my dryer outlet. He was able to fix the problem and sounded like he really knew what he was talking about. He was very friendly and explained everything he was going to do or needed to do to solve my electrical problem. He gave me a couple different price options along with the options to fix the problem. At the end of the day, he was able to fix the problem and gave me helpful information on other electrical problems in this old house I own! Nelson did a great job, and the company responded quickly to me when I reached out to them. It's a small company but I totally recommend them.

We have had “Tim Z” out on a call with a different issue. He was FANTASTIC! So today when we needed another “Electric Issue” problem solved My husband called “Local Choice Electrics”and he was told “Tim Z” would not be available until next week. Yikes!! However; Tim Z saw the call request and called my husband and said he was just 20 minutes away and he could drop by and se if he could solve problem. Its92 degrees here in North Carolina and this young man easily could have passed us off onto someone else… some other day. And yet he came himself and fixed the “GFI “ in the garage!
