Recently went under contract on a house with aluminum wiring and wanted to consult a professional on their take. Bobby was more than willing to let me pick his brain on solutions, remediation and observations. Even though it was not a service that they were able to tackle, Bobby spent the time to go over potential issues and how I might be able to ensure a safe home! Is there a six star rating that we can give to Bobby and Robert? These guys are incredible, straightforward and honest. They did an exceptional job communicating with us at every step of the way - from the estimate, to scheduling, and the doing the work. It’s top-notch quality at a truly reasonable price. There’s no reason to consider anyone else.

We had water damage due to hurricane matthew and I called 3 electricians before RDL, and Bob was the only one who answered his phone (yay for not leaving messages) and ACTUALLY SHOWED UP. He was very professional, did our repair quickly, was fairly priced. I highly recommend him and when I'm ready to wire my office, I'll be calling him again!

I called four electricians to install a 240v-50a circuit for an electric vehicle charger. Bob was one of two to answer the phone. He came out within four hours to provide a free quote. The other contractor to answer the phone also came out for a free quote the same day. Bob's quote was $200 less than the other guy, before the other guy began acting like a used car dealer, and still beat him after the "discounts" he began offering were all done. Of the other two that did not answer the phone, one called back two days later and the other never called back. Bob showed up to do the work when he said he would, did his work in an expeditious manner, and did an excellent job. Even the Town of Cary inspector was impressed. The thing I particularly like about Bob is that he always answers his phone. It's a family business. I couldn't give him a higher recommendation.

I called to get a price on upgrading two residential outlets to one that has usb outlets. When I called I spoke to the owner Bobby. He said he would need to charge me a minimum for 1 hr work and to be honest if I was up to it he would tell me what material I would need and walk me through it at “No charge”. I did it with Bobby’s guidance and I am happy. Bobby could of taken me for some cash if you choose, but didn’t. I will always remember this and definitely use him if I need a electrician in the future. Thanks again Bobby!

If youre like me, you were skeptical of the five star reviews. Oh my Lord, if I could give Bobby six stars, I would. He gave me a killer price to do some last minute work, and had the patience to talk my idiot self through where I messed up on the project to help in the future. This is the guy you want to work with. I didn't know true professionals like this still existed.

Very professional, very high quality, excellent price! Bob did a fantastic job. He installed two fan boxes with switches, a light over our shower with a switch, and a motion light outside our garage. Everything was very professionally done, he was very fast (finishing in about 6 hours), and cleaning up after the work so it was like he wasn't even there.

Bob has done a number of electrical jobs for me over the last 5 years. His knowledge and professionalism are exemplary. He recently completed a difficult pool control project for me that required a significant amount of time and effort. It was completed flawlessly and works great. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have electrical work done!

I originally called RDL to install a power outlet. After meeting Bob and his son Robert I ended up using them to install a television over our fireplace. They were very knowledgeable, professional, fast, and all around nice guys. Their pricing was great too. I will definitely use them again if need be in the future.

Bob came recommended to us by a friend, and we could not be more satisfied by his work, professionalism, and honesty. He was timely in coming out to look at our needs as well as getting back to us with an estimate. His prices were right in line or lower than other estimates received. He arrived on time, mounted two large TVs and a makeup mirror, relocated our cable and DSL line to a closet, and made sure everything was working as expected and that I was satisfied before leaving. Additionally, he made recommendations to prevent us from spending unnecessary money with the project. Highly recommended!

Bob and Tristan arrived and quickly solved a problem quite creatively. They were prepared and knowledgeable, and really nice to work with. They installed a floor outlet for me to support surround sound speakers. It is so much nicer and safer to be freed from having cords coming from walls! I should have called them years ago for this. Robert installed an outlet for my over-the-range microwave, and hung up the microwave itself. He came out a couple of days after I contacted him and provided a very reasonable quote. While installing he took care to keep the site as clean as possible, and he was able to complete the job very efficiently.

This guy is the bees' knees. I was dealing with a intermittent short at my house that was killing breakers... He found the circuit and repaired it, and it solved all these crazy problems I was having. Since then, I had him install a whole house surge protection system, a plug in for a house generator. An outdoor panel box for my shed and wired it. Converted all my garage lights to LED!! He is truly talented and meticulous to detail. But not bad for a Yankee.... This guy is awesome.

Bob (RDL Electric), was terrific to work with. We had an unusual circuit breaker box issue that Bob was able to diagnosis very quickly and found the fix in less than an hour an half including time to get the part. I was very impressed with his responsiveness and professional courtesy. We would certainly recommend Bob to others and use his services again if needed.

Bob and Robert are great! We had them out to help install a replacement microwave/oven unit. First, unlike half of the other electricians I called, he answered and was responsive to texts. I am glad the other guys were too busy because I now have a great electrician to call when needed! We already have more projects planned for Bob and Robert to do around our house. We highly recommend them. Great work at reasonable prices!
