We had an electrical problem at our house on a Sunday afternoon. Jim was referred to us by some friends and he was great. He called me back immediately and talked me through finding the source of the problem and fixing it (by checking the outside breakers) over the phone. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use him for any future electrical needs.

I was referred to Jim at Integrity Electric of NC when we mysteriously had our outlet stop working. He was very friendly and said he would be able to drop by that same day, then proceeded to ask me the problem. When I told him our issue, and he knew exactly what was wrong and had a simple solution that I could do over the phone! In less than 3 minutes, I had power to my non-working outlet again! It's such a breath of fresh air to interact with a friendly, knowledgeable, honest business. If we ever have electrical issues or installation needs in the future, I'm definitely calling Jim!!!

Jim did a ceiling fan installation for us, He did an excellent job. We asked him to do a few extra tasks while he was here and he was so helpful. He took care of everything and always had a cheerful attitude. Even though it was a small job, he treated us like a valuable customer. It's nice to see that great customer service can still be found.

I am adding a second review today to the one I wrote a number of years previously. This time I had a problem with an electrical outlet in my bathroom. Jim told me how to fix it over the phone. I was amazed. I do not think there are many service technicians who would pass up a service call to fix a problem with free advice. In the necessary visit he made previously he displayed the same attitude of fixing problems at minimum cost. Jim is not only an extremely competent electrician but also an extremely honest one. All in all an exceptional person. I would never consider using any other electrician and would strongly recommend Jim to anyone with an electrical problem. (My previous review follows.)
.My GE clothes dryer would not turn on so I called GE and they sent a technician to my house. The technician examined the dryer and said there was a problem with the electrical line or the circuit breaker since the dryer was getting only 120 volts on one line instead of the 240 volts on two lines it requires. He said there could be a short circuit which might cause an electrical fire and told me to call an electrician. I called Jim at Integrity Electric (having read his good Google reviews) and he came right over. He discovered that there was nothing wrong with the electrical line or circuit breaker. The problem was the cord on the dryer, which the GE technician failed to check. Jim replaced it with a cord he had on his truck, thereby fixing my dryer. When I explained what happened to GE and asked for a refund on their service charge they refused, claiming that their technician made the correct diagnosis by telling me to call an electrician! Fortunately, I paid GE with an American Express card so I am letting them handle the dispute.

Jim was the bright spot in the day. He is the electrician I will call in the future and I highly recommend him to anyone in the Apex area who is looking for extraordinary electrical work.

We called Jim because after a long Memorial Day weekend, we came home to cold showers. We also discovered the freezer in our garage was also on the fritz. Called Jim around 11:00 pm, and he was there first thing in the morning, spending a lot of hours to come to the conclusion that not only was the garage electrical out, but the outside outlets as well. Well, he fixed it! Great attitude, personality, and he knows exactly what he's doing! In fact, he made sure I knew exactly what he did to fix the problem, as well as explain what caused it in the first place! Woke up next day and freezer was out again. Called Jim and he was there right away. He ended up creating a dedicated outlet for the freezer and it's been running smoothly ever since. I like that Jim will answer all of your questions and is he professional at all times!
It's hard to find professionals like Jim these days, and we will highly recommend Jim for any electrical job. Integrity Electric of NC is who you want to call. Good guy.

I called Jim with an electrical issue that we needed resolved ASAP. He was kind enough to meet me at the house after his normal hours to diagnose the problem. He discovered an oddity with the wiring, and instead of just hacking something together real quick, he wanted to truly understand the setup. After relentlessly investigating, he solved the mystery, and was able to fix the issue in a way that made us both feel confident. He is also very easy to get along with. I highly recommend Jim! I've had Jim come out to my house to do 3 separate projects and in all cases he has done great, timely work and charged a fair price. I first had him do some wiring for a home theater setup running HDMI and electrical to a ceiling mounted projector as well as some recessed lighting. He took the time to explain what he was going to do and why he thought his approach was best for my setup. He then delivered by doing the work in the time he said he would and for the price he quoted me.

After that first experience I've since had him return to do additional recessed lighting, wall outlets, and under cabinet kitchen lighting that my wife absolutely loves. I've recommended Jim to many friends and will continue to do so as I've yet to hear a negative report.

I have never had an experience like this. Jim has chosen the right name for his company - INTEGRITY. I basically had an issue where half my house lost power. Jim had me run a test and thought that there was a very good chance that the issue was with the electric company and not localized to my house. He could have easily come over to my house and collected a $60-$75 service fee, but instead choose to do the right thing. We need more businesses like these. I will definitely recommend Jim going forward to anyone with electric needs. Thank you Jim for your honesty! It is rare to find and truly appreciated!

I have had Jim help me twice in the past month and both times were great experiences. I had issues with my outdoor outlets that he resolved quickly. He also installed a few new outlets and rewired several switches the way I wanted them quickly. He was on time, great to talk to, and good with kids. I highly recommend him.

Like most people, I called several electricians from Google for quotes on installing a dedicated outlet for my above range microwave. Jim was the only person who came to my house and seemed positive and excited to do my work. Positivity goes a long way in my book. His prices and turnaround time were very good. In fact, I also had him install my microwave (I hadn't planned on that, but he offered) for just a small amount more. I'm go glad I called Integrity.

I was fortunate enough to be referred to Jim by a neighbor. Jim was very responsive and came out only a few hours after I called him. He clearly outlined the work that was needed, gave his recommendation, and quickly completed the necessary repairs at a very reasonable price point. I have had Integrity Electric do two different jobs for us. Jim has been amazing to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and provides great customer service which is a rarity these days. The name of his company is very appropriate as Jim is a person of a high degree of integrity. One job was more involved where he we were selling a house and we found out that a previous electrician had taken some short cuts and the previous work done did not meet code. We needed the electrical repair to be completed quickly because of a closing deadline. Jim arranged his schedule so the job was completed in time for our closing and the quality of work was excellent. This past week-end I had an issue with a breaker tripping, lights flickering on/off and a a buzzing noise inside the breaker box which was very concerning to me. I called Jim this morning and explained my issue and again Jim arranged his schedule to come to our house the same day. I He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I have found him to be reasonably priced as well. I would highly recommend Jim for any electrical repair needs.

My husband and I recently had a wonderful experience with Jim. I had to postpone our original start date after we had last minute water damage in our home. Jim was very flexible and understanding. He even came while that issue was in the process of mitigation and worked around other work crews, the tarps, and holes in the ceiling to replace some light fixtures for us. Not only did he do an excellent job replacing several outdated light fixtures with some newer complicated ones, but he also was able to fix some lighting issues in our garage and master closet. Jim is truly a down to earth man and was completely transparent with costs before starting the job. It was a relief and pleasure to work with a tradesman who showed up on time on the days he said he would. Also, he is very tech savvy and it was nice he would text when his schedule opened up to come same day. Price was very reasonable. Overall A+++ service. Also, Jim always wore his mask making me feel very comfortable having him in my home. Will definitely recommend and use again!

They were so friendly, so fast, and did a great job! We had an outlet that wasn't working on the outside of the house and we needed 3 outdoor wall lights installed. Before and after pictures are included.
