Matt was super friendly and showed up first thing. Got my AC up in running in no time and the price was as quoted and expected. Definitely recommend!

I had a problem with my low voltage wire and I've had many technicians come out here and they had no idea how to fix it .Matthew from Charlie's came out within 5 minutes diagnose the problem and went to work immediately to deal with the problem. The technician that I dealt with was very respectfull / knowlegable and also help educate me on everything that I needed to do as far as upgrading my system in the future. I would definitely recommend Charlie's Heating and Cooling to anybody who needs AC help.

Very nice and respectful folks, Ryan stayed to help with getting my wifi set up and very patient in explaining what to do and how to work the system. He also recommended other things to do that would help in cooling our home. Nice folks highly recommend them

Charlies Heating and Air installed two Trane HVAC Units 4 years ago and serviced them once. Our upstairs unit quit heating this winter we called them to come service the units and repair the one not operating properly. It seems a copper pipe at the bottom of the unit was vibrating against the pad it was sitting on, in turn causing a hole in the pipe. The other unit installed at the same time did not have a problem. This would appear to be an installation over site or a manufacturers default. Either way, we were charged $662.33 for the repair advising us we were discounted and that we should have been charged $900. REALLY?

From the time we originally purchased the equipment, to the installation, and the spring maintenance we have been totally satisfied with Charlie's Heating and Cooling. Called at 10am on a Tue, they were out to look 2 hours later. Had the part and fixed the unit by 10:30am the next day! Matt was extremely helpful with our options and will definitely use them again

Matt, the service tech that came out to the house was neat, personable & knowledgeable.
He took all kinds of time explaining everything to where we knew what was wrong and why. We were certainly surprised at his honesty. Very refreshing. We will certainly ask for Matt or Charlie's Tin Shop if we were ever in need of work on our heater again.

My air conditioner and furnace were just serviced by a technician (Matt) from Charlie's. He was very thorough and professional. I have faith that if something was wrong it would be repaired and at a competitive cost. I highly recommend this company.

Called to have my outside AC compressor repaired (fan not running/overheating), was advised technician would be out "later this afternoon" around 3 or 4 pm. Matt arrived about 1:30, diagnosed the problem, and had the system up and running again in short order. Thanks for the fast professional service.

I called yesterday around 6pm when my unit quit working, the technician got right back to me, scheduled a appointment for the next morning. He was here at the time promised, very professional explained everything that was going on with my unit, even gave me some pointers on how to make my ac more efficient, Highly Recommended, Charlie's Heating & Cooling will definitely get my business again, service technician Matt Atkinson did a great job!

We were so impressed by Matt and the service we received today! Very professional. He quickly identified the problem and was able to fix the problem caused by another heating and air company for the unit we called about, as well as proactively checking the other unit that was also set up incorrectly. He came to our home as scheduled at 6:30 pm and preformed the required scheduled maintenance of our new Trane system. I watched Matt work and I may say, he knows his job. Matt came out to check my A/C at 10 PM on Friday 9-7-18. He was very professional and courteous. Explained everything he did with a fantastic attitude. He would make a fantastic instructor. I will definitely call Charlie's again for my A/C needs.

Charlie's Heating and Cooling provides the best service I have ever received from any business. Their quote is fair, communication was immediate, always on time, and worked very efficiently. Charlie's replaced two outside units and two inside units that took them 3/4 of the day to put in-FAST!! There was no up selling, no pressure, and Matt answered all of my questions clearly without over burdening me with too much technical jargon. I also would like to add that the service I received was very detail oriented; everything was sealed, attached and set without any shortcuts. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their level of professionalism. Our house is now perfectly comfortable, Thank you!!

Initially called due to system not functioning properly and set up a service call. They came out next day! Matt showed up early, which was really great. His diagnosis and troubleshooting found our compressor to be dead. After discussing options and and evaluating our almost 17 year old system, we decided to upgrade the entire system, fix a few flex ducts that were damaged, and run a new dyer oulet duct. Luckily they had all the parts and equipment necessary to do the revamping of our system and scheduled it for the following day. These awesome dudes showed up with 2 crews, did there thing, and was done in 4 hours. The guys on their crews were knowledgeable and proficient. We are pleased with the experience and would advocate anyone in the asheboro area to give them a try, Thank you Matt and the crew guys for yalls hard work. We appreciate it!

Previous owner of my condo never did preventive maintenance. Condenser drain pipe was so backed up that it wouldn't even take a half gallon of water without it going all over the floor. Once the technician (Matt) got to work on it it was draining like it was new. Great work by a very professional and knowledgeable tech. Will definitely be using Charlie's Heating and Cooling again.

EDIT: so I've still continued using Charlie's Heating and Cooling these last 4 years since I wrote my review. Still excellent service and can't recommend them enough

I have needed the services of Charlie's Tin Shop on two occasions and both times they met or exceeded my expectations. The scheduler was professional and courteous and the service technicians were very knowledgeable and professional as well. Problems were diagnosed, repairs were made, and I was charged a reasonable amount each time.
The rating of excellent is well deserved.

Placed a service call at 8:30 am this morning (Saturday). Lady on the phone took my information and told me she would dispatch the call out to someone and I should hear from someone. At 1:30p.m. I had yet to hear from anyone, and I know it is summer and the weekend and can take a while, but I thought I would have at least received a confirmation call of sorts of when they expected to be by, or if they would even attempt to come by today. I called back in to try and confirm and was told that due to staffing shortages they were informed there would be no weekend service calls and they were told to advised customers to call back in on Monday to schedule a service. That’s fine, I understand, but tell me that when I called at 8:30 a.m. or make it a point to call anyone you might have misspoke to and tell them. It is now 2 p.m. on another day of dangerous heat with 4 kids in my home and HOPEFULLY I will be able to find someone else that can come soon before it gets worse.

Great service and good people. They took what was originally a poor experience with a scheduling issue, into a great experience. The tech Matt is great, very thorough and knowledgeable. And Ryan is first class in service! We will be using Charlie’s for all our HVAC needs moving forward!
