We had a very disappointing experience with Alamance Air Solutions.

Individuals representing the company arrived at our property in an Alamance Air Solutions vehicle and represented that they had an HVAC condenser compatible with our existing system and that they would install it. $700 was collected for the unit upon delivery, and payment was requested in cash. We were told they would return within a few hours with additional tools to complete the installation, but they did not return.

Our existing HVAC system is an R22 3-ton system, but the unit delivered was an R410A condenser, which is incompatible with our system and cannot be installed as represented.

The interior components of the unit delivered also appeared heavily corroded, including electrical components visible inside the cabinet.

After discovering the incompatibility and condition of the equipment, we requested the return of the $700 payment, but that request was refused.

We have documentation including video footage of the Alamance Air Solutions vehicle delivering the unit, photographs of the equipment delivered, and recorded communications and text messages FROM THE OWNER of Alamance Air Solutions acknowledging the transaction & promise of installation.

Because of this experience, a complaint has been filed with the North Carolina State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating and Fire Sprinkler Contractors, and we are pursuing further action to resolve the matter.

We have a split AC/furnace system that was about 17 years old and the A/C was on its last leg. We approached Alamance Air Solutions and three other contractors to obtain estimates on replacing just the A/C. Out of the four contractors, not only was Alamance Air the cheapest but they also provided us with the most options. They even threw in a float switch at no charge since our furnace didn't have one previously. They do very neat and clean installations and were in and out in just half a day. I would recommend them to anyone in Alamance County looking for HVAC service and installations.

We call our regular guy on Monday and he said I MIGHT be able to come Friday ... We called several of the other older business in Burlington and was told as far as 2 weeks out. Alamance Air came right out and showed me the issue... By end of week we had new unit up and running. Outstanding service...

My air conditioner quit exactly when the weather got unbearably hot, of course! Alamance Air was at my house that afternoon, found and fixed the issue, charged what I thought a very reasonable price, and went on their way in such a short time. My unit is old, but there was no talk of trying to sell me a new system, or anything else - so when I will need a new system, I'm calling these guys first!

I am completely satisfied with the service I received from Alamance Air Solutions. Taylor came out on the weekend to look at my 20 year old split system that I was hoping to replace. He sent me a quote next day that beat quotes from 2 other local HVAC companies. Taylor and his guys showed up on schedule, had fun and did awesome work! Crabbe came out and gave me an estimate to replace my outdated Oil Furnace with a new Gas Central Heat and Air Unit. This was an older house that some some time installing duct work. They started the installation promptly and even though they ran into some issues with a defective compressor from the manufacturer, they worked to get me cool in a reasonable amount of time. They came back several times just to make sure everything was working properly. Very satisfied.
