Tracy was so kind and helpful on a holiday to make sure we had water available to us. He cares about people first, which is rare to see these days.

This business came recommended to us highly by our next door neighbors. We could not have been more pleased. They came out the next day and repaired a big clog in our toilet. Drew and the young man accompanying him (didn't catch his name) were friendly and no-nonsense. The next time I have a plumbing issue I will definitely reach out to Drain Express.

He was very amenable to my suggestions regarding how to best accomplish this,, and took great care in limiting disruption to our property and our lives. Price was as predicted, in spite of a tremendous amount of work and uncertainty about how things would work in real life. Dickie is a pleasure to work with, and he is now my plumber of choice. We live in an older neighborhood where many houses have developed drainage problems with flooded basements, dampness, etc. Neighbors tried many services (anyone with a backhoe or shovel can bill himself as a drainage expert), and most attempted fixes were inexpensive, but ineffective. Drain Express is far from the cheapest, but the quality of the work is high and completed on time. If there is a continuing issue, they are easy to reach and prompt to remedy any work for which they are responsible. In the long run, Drain Express is definitely worth what they charge and in the long run the quality of the work easily makes up for any initial difference in cost. Drain Express is a family-run business, and Dickie takes pride in his work and is the most knowledgeable plumber I've dealt with in our 45 years in this house.

These guys are great. Was able to get a next day appointment, fitting me in between many calls, they diagnosed and cleared the pipe and identified a broken pipe which they are fitting into the schedule to fix ASAP. They provide updates at every step and pictures to show you what they are talking about. Great service, reasonable price, honest business people! I had my main water shut off valve fail on a weekend afternoon with three kids and three pets in the house! My husband was repairing a minor leak in the kid’s bathroom and once the water was shut off to complete the repair, it wouldn’t come back on. Needless to say, Drain Express was extremely responsive, and sent someone out within the hour! On a Sunday! The technician that responded was polite, professional and worked quickly to restore our valve. I am impressed and very pleased with the quality of work and responsiveness I received from this company. Mike and Noble with Drain Express did a fantastic job for us after our water heater broke and leaked all over our floors! Mike, being the main guy, is super professional, and he also explains his process thoroughly, listens well, and answers all your questions with patience and deep knowledge. He had our new water heater installed and working super quickly, while another company is working on cleaning up the water damage.

We highly recommend Drain Express! Seven years ago, they installed an exterior stormwater drainage system at our home in Chapel Hill, and the system continues to work astonishingly well. Before the system was installed, water would pool in our crawlspace and run through the basement after a hard rain. This week, Chapel Hill saw eight inches of rain in 12 hours. Our neighborhood was a mess, but our basement and crawlspace were completely dry. Drain Express’s work has now paid for itself many times over.

Drain Express is a small business, locally owned and operated. They were able to schedule my non-emergency service within 24h of my call. Steven - the technical expert that responded - was efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. He answered all my questions, provided sound advice, and taught me a bit of basic maintenance/troubleshooting (which was helpful and appreciated). While this particular issue was not technically challenging to resolve, Drain Express did make a good impression and they’re now on my very short list of vetted plumbing service providers.

Drain express replaced the hot water heater in my attic. They were reasonably priced and took care of my carpets and house with completing the job. I have been pleased with every time I have used this company.

Very responsive and efficient. Have been my go to for years. Their prices have crept up steadily though - it’s a fixed price per job regardless of how long it takes so be prepared for sticker shock.
